Charming Apartment In A Traditional Savoyard Village 2 Bedrooms ,2 Bathrooms

Charming ,warm and comfortable apartment ,very close to ski lift .

1 spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower room and toilet on the lower floor. Twin room(can be made into king-size bed )plus a second bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet.

Open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area.

Well equipped kitchen with oven, 2 ringed hob,microwave,dishwasher.

Dining area consists of table and benches which seats 6 .

Lounge area with 2 arm chairs and a comfortable 3 seater bed settee .Double glass doors open onto a small terrace communal garden (not fenced).

Why Joanne Leigh chose Les Contamines-Montjoie

After looking at a few apartments ,we chose this one because we liked the idea of having 2 floors ,giving more privacy and space.It's situated in an ideal place very near the ski lift with a private parking space outside the door so no need for a ski buses or finding a parking place at the lift if it's busy.However in the evening when the skiers have gone or in other seasons,the area is tranquil, peaceful and relaxing .

What makes this apartment unique

Just a short 3 minute walk( in ski boots) to the ski lift is a great help when carrying skis.All the amenities you may need even closer such as ski hire shops ,a small grocers ,patisserie selling delicious bread ,cakes and home made pizza using amongst many other things the superb local cheeses and hams.A couple of bars and a newsagents are also very convenient.If you venture into the main village a10 min walk away ,there's more supermarkets and a butchers ,more patisseries and a good choice of restaurants to suit all .Also an outdoor ice ring and flood lit night skiing on some nights so really everything you will need for a great holiday .

beau chalet et bien équipé. à 200m des remontés du Lay- St Georges Contamines, très bien pour le ski. à 2mn en voiture du centre ville ou 10mn à pieds. nous étions 5 amis, bon couchage et la chambre du bas est très bien avec salle de bain. merci à Jo qui fait tout que votre séjour se passe bien.

Cosy pad by the gondola, in a ski town with everything you could ask for

Range of ability skiers enjoyed a sunny week in Contamines and can recommend the pad and ski area. Two bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen, plus having the patio doors open out onto a little garden area gave us the chance to let the outdoors in a little.

Contamines is a gem of a ski town with everything you need plus bonuses of weekly market and the friendliest folk in a ski area I have ever met in nearly thirty years of skiing.

So convenient and well kept

A clean and well equipped apartment, extremely close to main ski lift, and near some good bars and restaurants, centre of town is closer than most reviews say and an easy walk. Maybe 10min max.

I would defiantly return and book the same apartment.

Lovely Apartment in a great location

We stayed at this property in January for a long weekend. It is a nice apartment with everything that you need. We were 4 adults and it was nice and cosy, always warm and lots of hot water. I spoke to Jo many times before we arrived and she is extremely nice and helpful. The apartment is in a great position, 5 min walk to the ski lift. The village is about a 15 min walk away, a lovely walk by the river. I would recommend this apartment.

Caring owner & super flat! Easy to ski...

Jo looked after us from the moment we expressed an interest in staying. She provided lots of practical information. The flat is really comfortable and well equipped. It worked perfectly for us with a very private bedroom downstairs and a smaller bedroom upstairs for the children. It was in perfect condition - clean and new with everything one could think of! The flat is located very close to the lifts and a really pleasant leisurely 15 minute walk into town. It was perfect for us and we hope to return.

Great Family Ski Holiday

Les Contamines really is a picturesque village and a great place for a family ski holiday. The location is great being only 300m from the main ski lift, basic shops on the doorstep, and a lovely 10min walk into the village where you can find some great restaurants and larger supermarkets.

Such a lovely spacious chalet, very well equipped with everything you would need, and in a very pretty resort. Ideal for a teenage family, especially having 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. Highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed, and in fact you won’t want to leave…
