About Ursula Hadelich
The properties are part of Podere Vallari, a small olive-growing estate which has been run organically as a family business by Sigismund and Ursula Hadelich since 1981. There is a house with two apartments ("Rose" and "Gatto Nero"), and an old farmhouse on a separate property (Casa Grande) with several bedrooms for up to 6 people.

Why Ursula Hadelich chose Riparbella
At a reasonable price, you can spend your holiday surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, and relax while looking at the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Close to the idyllic village of Riparbella, the area is not overrun by tourists in the summer, but is within driving distance of the major tourist destinations: 65 km to Pisa, 35 km to Volterra, 85 to Lucca, 85 to Siena, 68 to San Gimignano, 115 to Florence - perfect for sightseeing excursions.
What makes this Apartment unique
A guest recently remarked that staying at Podere Vallari felt like walking 'in a postcard', because the vineyards, olive groves and view of the sea were so beautiful. If you want a holiday away from tourist traps and commercial pricey holiday retreats, and instead get a real taste of the Tuscan countryside, you've come to the right place!
A wonderful stay and cat lovers' paradise.
The Rose apartment is bright and cozy with air conditioning and WiFi, perfect for a summer week! Ursula and Sigismund are wonderfully warm hosts who were helpful with many guidebooks and tips about what to explore in the Tuscan countryside. There are adorable farm cats that roam the property who are quick to befriend you if you offer them some milk or a snack. Do not hesitate to book this apartment! We had a wonderful time.
cats, crickets and olivetrees
Ursula is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful.
She offers you wine, oliveoil and selfmade jam. The flat is beautiful with a wonderful terrace and some lovely cats:)
Thank you very much for the kind words, dear guest.
We, my husband and myself, try to make the holidays of our guests as personal as possible because this is what distinguish our offer from the many, many offers which seem to be similar. The greatest gratification for us is if guests return which luckily occurs very often.
Our cats miss the guests after their departure as much as we do....

A wonderful place!!
We had the good fortune to visit Podere Vallari when we visited my niece who was wwoofing at the property. We were a group of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The property owners are delightful people and gave us many tips about places to go and see in the area. The property is well situated to go on easy day visits to many of the surrounding towns. We visited Florence, Siena and many other small towns in the area. I would not hesitate to book this property and hopefully sometime in the not too distant future, I will have the opportunity to return to this lovely place.
A new experience in every way
Fantastic location very peaceful and quiet. Made to feel at home and it was great for our dog Jack. Stayed in the house which was basic but fun. It had great views and we had lost of BBQ'S. Lovely village Riparbella. Car is a must. Are hosts could not have been more helpful and we had a lovely evening entertained by them.
Nice place, nice people!
In the summer of 2014 I stayed with my teenage daughter in the Rose appartment. It was of perfect size for the two of us, a nice bathroom with a tub (my daughter very happy!). It was all clean and neat.
I liked the arboretum-like garden, there were so many different types of trees. From Podere Vallari we could easely go (by car) to the little lovely village Riparbella on top of the hills and to the sea coast.
Ursula and Sigismund let us feel very welcome and completed our stay with their kindness and helpfulness.
Fantastic hidden gem in the Tuscany hills.
What fond memories we have of our visit. Ursula and Sigismund were wonderful hosts. We were part of a large party. My girlfriend and I stayed in the upper apartment while the rest of the party were in the cottage. The apartment was fantastic, it has all the amenities we needed. It was so inspiring we ended up having the best meals home cooked from the fresh ingredients we got from town. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Balcony breakfasts and hosting dinners for friends were a pleasure.
Riparbella is centrally located for us that allowed us a day's drive to many beautiful cities such as San Giminano, Pisa, and Volterra to name a few. There were plenty of trails for hikes through the hills. I ran a few times and I have fond memories of a horse that saw me and ran along with me when I passed his farm.
I would highly recommend this place. It was a great opportunity to disconnect from the world and recharge. When I come back to Tuscany this is the place I would stay out without a second thought. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
