'Casa Blanca Bonita' Pretty Spanish Andalucian style comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, Bouganvilla grows at the front of the house, surrounded by well kept gardens living room with air conditioning - including: sofa bed,WIFI, TV. with sky, English channels, DVD player, CD/radio, table and 6 chairs, air conditioning (coin operated €1 for 3 hours) adjacent to kitchen with washing machine, large fridge, freezer, dish washer, microwave, kettle, cooker and toaster.

Bedroom 1: Spacious with air conditioning (coin operated) and large double bed. fitted wardrobes. Safe.

Adjacent to main bathroom with shower, bath, bidet, sink

Bedroom 2: South facing with balcony. 2 single beds - one roll under, fitted wardrobe. This room has a ceiling fan.

Adjacent to main bathroom. Also clothes dryer, heaters, Iron and Ironing board, hair-dryer.

Casa acogedora y muy bien situada

Estuvimos aquí en septiembre con nuestros tres hijos. Todos salimos encantados al final de la semana. La casa tiene una piscina comunal impresionante, está muy bien cuidada, muy limpia y se encuentra a menos de 10 minutos andando al centro de Nerja y menos todavía a la playa. Altamente recomendable.

Nice Villa - great location

Very nice house - an easy stroll into Nerja town centre and also to nearby Burriana beach. House was very clean and well equipped. We were there in July with our two teenagers who loved the freedom of being able to wander off on their own whenever they wanted - there was a real feeling of Nerja being safe so this made it easier for everybody.The house is very close to the parador which is well worth a visit for afternoon tea or whatever. Overall, very impressed with house and facilities and will be back.

Property was ideally situated on the hill up from Burriana- 5 mins to beach, 10 mins to old town. Handy little shop next door. touching distance to all bars and restaurants.

Property had plenty of space, good air con and nice communal pools.

Would recommend to a friend and would go back.

Lovely cheerful house in perfect location

Myself and my family recently returned from a wonderfully refreshing break from this gorgeous part of the Costa Del Sol. This house was the prefect base from which to explore the beautiful unspoilt beaches, with Burriana beach being just a short stroll away and the Balcon de Europa is also within easy walking distance. The house itself is bright and clean with a lovely new kitchen and all the facilities you would expect of your own home. Though there are lots of excellent places to eat, with Aeos on Burriana being a pacticular favourite, we were happy to kick back, relax and cook in this charming little home away from home. It also has two bathrooms, a must in our houeshold, as well as two good sized bedrooms and plenty of closet space. I would highly recommend this property and indeed have done so to a friend who has just booked for a week in May!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review and I am delighted that you enjoyed staying in the house. My own teenage boys love the area and find it very convenient being able to just walk into the Balcon area to eat or for a stroll or to the beach to play volleyball or swim whenever they wish.

Lovely house near the beach

My family of 4 stayed here in August 2012 an really enjoyed it- so much so that we hope to go again in 2013. The house is just as advertised - clean, well-equipped and well located. It was really clean and had all the comforts of home - TV with English speaking channels, cd & dvd players and thankfully airc-conditiong as it was really hot in Nerja in August. The little shop next door is well stocked and there is a bigger supermarket about 3 minutes walk away. Hotel Villa Flamenca right across the road is handy for a drink - especially during Happy Hour each night. There is a little pool just in front of the house and across the road there is a larger pool in the larger side of complex. Most houses seem to be occupied when we were there but we never heard anybody else coming or going.

Burriana beach is a short stroll downhill (but is a bit tiring on the way back up). El Fuego on the way to Burriana beach is a great spot for a cool beer and some lovely Dutch style tapas. Ayos on the beach is 1 of the busiest restaurants I've ever seen where the food and atmosphere is great. Ayos are only open 1 night a week but to sit on the beach there with a plate of paella and a glass of sangria watching the sun go down is just bliss.

The Balcon is a lovely stroll away, through the lively Carabeo with an eclectc mix of restaurants, bars and quirky shops. You have to try Little Italy on the Carabeo - amazing pizzas at very low prices. Cochranes near the Balcon is nice for a drink whilst people watching.

Stadthaus, nahe am Strand aber mit Mängeln

Lage des Hauses: Die Hauptzufahrtstrasse zum Burriana Beach mit entsprechendem Verkehrsaufkommen führt direkt am Haus vorbei. Das Hotel Villa Flamenca liegt schräg gegenüber, es werden bis tief in die Nacht Gäste gebracht u. geholt. Nachts wird der Müll abgefahren. Also nicht geeignet für Ruhesuchende. Parken eines Autos nicht möglich. Der große Gemeinschaftspool liegt auf der anderen Straßenseite der Hauptzufahrtstrasse in einer angeschlossenen Anlage und hat keinerlei Liegeflächen. Das Haus verfügt über eine abgewohnte Ausstattung (z.B. Sessel, Couch usw.) u. Gerätschaften etc., z.B. ungeordnete Kabel im Wohnzimmer, defekte Radios u. Beleuchtung, Strandstühle, Sonnenschirme usw.. Das Thema Sauberkeit ist hier sehr dehnbar ausgelegt (klebrige Oberflächen usw., Klimaanlage–Wartung? Fleckige Bettwäsche!). Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet aber ungepflegt. Die Bäder sind in einem schlechten Zustand. Es gibt nur englischsprachiges Fernsehprogramm. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügte über nicht zusammen passende Betten. Ein Bett ist ca. 40cm höher als das andere. Eine Belegung mit einem Paar ist in diesem Schlafz. somit nicht besonders romantisch. Es wird eine Wohnfläche von 90 qm angegeben, aber Wohnzimmer und die beiden Schlafzimmer haben zusammen nur ca. 40 qm. Eine wohl zur Mietfläche hinzugerechnete Loggia war vollgestellt mit defekten Möbeln und sonstigem Unrat und war somit nicht nutzbar. Eine Belegung mit 4 erwachsenen Personen, ist bereits grenzwertig, denn der Esstisch ist doch etwas sehr klein. Für eine 5. Person ist kein Stuhl vorhanden. Die explizit auf der Homepage angeführten Grünanalagen sind in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Eine Liegefläche vor dem Haus ist zwar vorhanden, liegt aber direkt am Zugangsweg zu allen anderen Wohneinheiten in dieser Anlage. Man kann sich das so vorzustellen, als wenn man seine Sonnenliege an der Bushaltestelle aufstellt. Handtuchtausch oder Bettwäschetausch nach 1 Woche Nutzung bei 2 Wochen Buchung wurde trotz mehrfacher Erinnerung durch uns und entsprechender Bitte zwar durch die Verwaltung zugesagt, aber nie durchgeführt. Was ist positiv? Nerja ist ein schönes Städtchen und bietet viel Abwechslung. Es ist in etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Strand, Burriana Beach, ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und ist gepflegt. Er bietet alles was einen schönen Strand ausmacht; mehrere Eisdielen, Cafés, Restaurants. Der Rückweg zum Haus ist allerdings sehr steil und nicht unbedingt für jeden geeignet.

Nerja is on the seashore, 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340. Approaching Nerja the scenery becomes more and more stunning as the Sierra de Tejeda Mountains appear in the distance. The whole area is of great natural beauty, and Nerja is sheltered by these mountains which give it a tropical climate. The town itself has many excellent restaurants of all nationalities and the Spanish Tapas bars have a wide choice of delicious local specialities. Nerja is a wonderful place to be based for visiting areas such as Granada, with its legendary Alhambra Palace, Ronda, Seville, etc. A few kilometres into the mountains there is the lovely white, Moorish, village of Frigiliana with its houses cascading down the hillside. Another place to visit is the Cueva de Nerja, which has only been discovered relatively recently. This fantastic cave supposedly has the longest stalactite in the world. The heart of Nerja is spectacular, Balcón de Europa, a magnificent tree lined promenade...
