Absolutely wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we stepped into Hollyburn Lodge, we immediately felt at home. The accommodation is light and airy, and it was a bonus to have the living room on the first floor which extended the view of the lake from the balcony. It was a treat to have a dishwasher and the kitchen area lacked for nothing. The beds were very comfy and it was a highlight to draw the curtains on a few mornings to see the deer on the lawn. After our days out to Balmoral, Aberdeen and Dunnottar Castle, it was a joy to return to the lodge to relax in the lovely surroundings. Thank you very much indeed.

Lovely cottage & surroundings.

We had such a nice time here over the Christmas period, would of stayed longer if cottage had been available. Lovely touches with Christmas tree & decorations around the cottage. Definitely will return.

Our stay so far has been great, lovely setting and house is gorgeous, very cosy especially now that it is getting chilly. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend Hollyburn Lodge.

We had the most delightful stay at Holyburn? A beautiful cottage

  • 5 of 5

This property is 5 star plus! Beautiful, very clean and comfortable and secluded. The Hutchisons were delightful people. Pat had even put milk in the fridge for our arrival and shortbreads on the bench! We felt as though we were really living in Scotland and not as tourists, central to everything. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Thankyou Pat and John for sharing Holyburn lodge and making our Scotland experience fabulous.

Aberdeen City and Shire is home to the country’s largest national park, a dramatically imposing coastline and of course the city itself, there is so much to explore in Aberdeen City and Shire. Fusing striking granite architecture, a rich and inspiring history, a dynamic modern arts scene and perhaps Scotland's strongest industrial heritage; the country's third largest city offers a host of treasures, just waiting to be explored again & again.
