About Ann Theophille
Hi, I'm Ann; Thank you for viewing my vacation home listing, Rainbow Hill Villa (formerly Montagne Maision). I currently live and work in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. My family is originally from Dominica. Dominica is internationally known as the "Nature Isle" for its bountiful natural resources; plants and flora, wildlife, waterfalls, ponds, rivers, rain forests and other natural attractions. I purchased Rainbow Hill Villa in 2016 with the thought of making it my retirement home. Until then, I would be pleased to share my home with you.

Why Ann Theophille chose Cochrane
I stumbled across the Rainbow Hill Villa property while visiting my family home in Dominica, early 2016. I had talked about buying a small place to retire for quite a while, but had yet to start looking. When I drove pass the main road adjacent to the home, I noticed this beautiful, brightly colored 2-story home, perked slightly higher than the others. Rainbow Hill Villa is situated on 19,358 square feet of flat and beautifully land scraped grounds. At the time of purchase this modern mountain home contained 3 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms with 3,080 square feet of living space. Shortly after purchasing my dream home, I expanded the lower level of the home to over 1,000 additional square feet, adding a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment.
What makes this House unique
Rainbow Hill Villa is just a ten (10) minute drive from the town of Roseau, the Capital of Dominica. It is minutes away from town activities (Canefield and Roseau), hiking trails and a host of unspoiled natural attractions. Join us at Rainbow Hill Villa for amazing sunrises and sunsets, idyllic views of the mountains and surrounding country side, and cool and calming year round breezes.

The property is very nice, gardens very nice, nice views, property owner is very nice
I was there with my family for 2 weeks. We had a nice time but not what we expected, we thought it would be easy to get to town but it was not the case. Buses was very difficult, we had to either book one from the night before or walk up and down the hill over a precipice to the main road in order to catch a bus. We did not drive and relied on others [ we would not have driven on that precipice anyway] there is space for only vehicle at a time.
The private road leading onto the estate is in need of repairs it is very rough, it was not easy walking on it because it had pot holes and was very muddy with the rain.
We made the most of our time there, the grandchildren loved the garden especially the toddler, he had a lot of space to move around, although the weather was bad we did not let it stop us from doing what we wanted although we could not do as much as we wanted to.
I am giving this 3 stars as we did not have all the services we expected, I feel that should have been pointed out to us before we even pay the rental fee, then it would be up to us to decide whether to rent the property or not.
