About Nancy Royall
Dick and Nancy are an active retired couple living in the Northern Neck who met while students at Duke U. We enjoy travelling, pickleball, sailing, and outings with our friends and working with the Westmoreland Players. We are excited about meeting you and welcoming you to Mom and Pop's Honest Point Home.
Nancy Royall purchased this House in 1950
Why Nancy Royall chose Lottsburg
The house was originally purchased by Edmund and Grace Royall -- Mom and Pop. It has been a haven for friends and relatives ever since.
What makes this House unique
The views from this house stretch all the way to Maryland. This house was my husband's grandparent's home and is the oldest house on Honest Point, dating from the early 1900s. It is comfortable and homey.

We enjoyed our stay.
Reliving Childhood Memories
Callao and this property are a return to the "beach" experience of our youth. Both the property and setting harken back to the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries before the birth of condos and highly populated beach areas with strip malls and amusement parks. The screened porch with its beautiful views of the Coan River is a wonderful place to have coffee, eat meals and watch both sunrises and sunsets. If you enjoy looking at the water and being in a rustic cottage, this is a great place!±
Thanks for the kind review. We try very hard to create the best experience for our guests . We enjoyed having you with us and hope to see you again. Nancy
Great family getaway!
We loved our trip to Lottsburg - great little beach and we saw tons of fish, jellyfish, and even a river shark! Perfect birthday getaway weekend for our family of four.
We really loved watching the snead family enjoy our property. The girls were delightful and they all treated our house with respect. We would love to have them visit again.
The cottage and the location to the river as ideal for us. The cottage is rustic and basic. Just the way we wanted. We loved the screen porches and spent most of our time there. If ever back in the area, we will definitely book again.
Peace and relaxation
We had a wonderful time at your home. It was peaceful, and we all got some much needed rest and relaxation. We loved the screened in porches, and made use of both of them often once the heat broke. In the meantime, taking a dip at the beach helped (my boyfriend was down there everyday the moment he woke up). I loved the view, and the sunsets were amazing! My dog enjoyed walking around the property and rolling on the grass. The flowers around the property were gorgeous, and I loved seeing the creatures...hummingbirds, cardinals, turtles, butterflies, blue tailed lizards, and the mama deer and her 2 babies in the field. Thank you for your hospitality...the fresh flowers, wine, and your home grown vegetables. We loved our stay at your home, and are dreading our return to work tomorrow!
Loved this trip!
We had a wonderful time at this home. Our favorite spot was the screened porches which made a wonderful place to retreat in the evening. The owners were so friendly and left a bottle of wine for us upon our arrival which was very nice after a long drive. The beach is perfect for children and pets. We also had the chance to visit Yorktown and Tangeir Island while we were there.
