The owners are world travelers who own vacation villas in italy, bali, new york city and waikiki..They're semi-retired and travel to their homes often. For this reason their properties are updated ANNUALLY, unlike most vacation rentals. The owners maintain the properties with very high standards.

"We just returned home from a 2 week stay at this condo...We were very happy with the convenient location of this unit at the complex. Very close to parking for loading and un-loading your car, and you just step outside the sliding glass doors, turn right, and you are on the grass, heading to the beach and the amazing sun-rise every day! It is also very close to the pool and BBQ's. Wednesday nights at The Oasis are a "Must Do" for local music that is fantastic. Great Mai-Tai's there too! G-107 is in very good condition, with 2 ceiling fans, a very comfortable king size bed, beautiful art work, gourmet kitchen, and basically two full size bathrooms. The unit also has boogie boards and fins available for use. Peter, the owner, was super to work with! He got back to us immediately with answers to any questions we had both before and during our trip...He is great! The only thing that I would have liked better would be a private Lanai with a view...but, again, just step outside, look right, and Voila! You are just steps from some beach loungers and a lovely spot on the beach to enjoy the beauty!"

Second of manymore trips

We arrived here for 4 nights in April 2017 and this was our second time staying in the unit. What can I say we absolutely love this unit and it is the perfect base when visiting Kauai. The condo itself is well appointed and has in my opinion one of the best locations at the resort. It is a ground floor unit with quick access ( a matter of seconds) to the pool or beach! What more could you ask for? I cannot wait to book our next years trip.

GREAT LOCATION! good communication w/ owner!!

first the locale of the unit at a busy resort was quite unique. quiet and private, a little tucked away, yet still had nice views of the ocean and pool. 2nd peter was a great host! xlnt suggestions and tips! thanx pete!

Property is starting to show its age

Shared some concerns with the property owner who promised to immediately take corrective action. Was satisfied that the unit was well-equipped. Really liked the Oasis restaurant and staff (located on the property).

A wonderful, clean property with all the basics and a fantastic pool

My family of 3 and I had a wonderful time at Waipoli Beach Resort. We found the location to be great, allowing us east access to the Coconut Coast beaches as well as both the north and south shores of Kauai. The pool is fantastic, as is the proximity to the beach, and our lanai had views of both. The room was equipped with all the basics, with nothing at all left out. We had a lovely stay in this well-appointed, neat, clean hotel. Can't wait to do it again!

Family Getaway 2016

We had the best time staying at the Waipouli Beach Resort in G107!! Peter (the owner) was fabulous to work with and very responsive with any and all inquiries. Condo was exactly as advertised. The resort itself was perfect - pool was ideal, loved the "sand" at the bottom of the hot tubs! I think the only recommendation I would have is maybe a small notebook on the counter to greet guests with all the rules / requirements during the stay (what to do for a parking pass, what to do when you check out, who to call in case of any issues, etc.). Great location

The condo is in a great location and the resort itself is great. For the price, you can't beat it. The bathroom and kitchen were huge and the unit was very clean. It was nice being on the ground floor and it was an easy walk to the parking lot. People always seemed to be waiting for the elevator so it was nice to be able to walk right in to the unit. However, we did have a few issues.

As a previous reviewer stated, the shower door leaks, a lot. Plus the portion of the bathroom where the shower is is really dark. Good luck shaving your legs because you can't see anything. The living room and bedroom are also pretty dark.

The view pictured in the listing is not accurate. When you look out the bedroom or living room windows you are looking at the pool and at a hallway. So if it's dark outside and you have the lights on inside, everyone walking down the walkway can see right in. If you're on the lanai and turn to your right, look past some bushes and the walkway, then you can see that view.

If you happen to need to work while staying here, go to Starbucks across the street because the wifi is REALLY slow. Also, getting the parking permit was a hassle because the HOA office was closed and no one from security responded to our phone calls.

While the unit was nice, I don't think we would stay in this unit again. We would try to find a different unit at the resort.

Owner's Response: thankyou for your 4star review!! so glad you enjoyed the convenient location of the unit. thankyou also for informing us about the shower. we had replaced the doors bottom seal a couple years ago, and have already called the handyman to address this again. It seems to happen at many of the resorts units. also glad you enjoyed the convenience of the ground floor. Please note all ground floor units have tinted glass that prevents daytime viewing directly into the units, and the blinds were installed for added privacy at night. truly appreciate your review! mahalos, peter
