Mark and Karol are the proud owners of Browns' Cabin Home.
'We stand behind our promise that you will absolutely LOVE the cabin and the location!'
Our family has been head over heels in love with Glacier and Northwest Montana, beginning with Karol's job as the Cook at Sperry Chalet in Glacier Park, long ago. Since then, they have enjoyed every aspect of Glacier life, and all that the Park and Flathead Valley offers--culminating with Mark and Karol's wedding in Glacier. Mark works for Glacier National Park and Karol is a Teacher and a Personal Chef. Our kids are Chief Quality Control S'more Roasters, Wildlife/Scat Experts in Glacier Park, and widely recognized for their expert hiking, wildlife identification, sledding, and snow-shoe skills.
Karol purchased this cabin in 2003
Location, location, location! Since we are just one mile from the west entrance into Glacier, our location is perfect! We love the design of the house...with 2 King bedrooms and three bathrooms, guests are offered plenty of space and privacy. The ample front lawn, the enormous balcony for grilling and dining, a fantastic jetted tub and soaking tub, make the house a fantastic place for home base to explore and enjoy Glacier.
We traveled to Montana to explore glacier national park with our 16 month old son. Proximity to the park was high priority. So we splurged and spent a little more than we wanted to stay at the Browns Cabin.. And we are so glad we did! The house was cozy, clean and well equipt with toys, baby gates and a portable crib for our son. The property was spacious with a large lawn area for our boy to run around and a great deck to enjoy a cup of coffee on in the morning, it's located in a quiet neighborhood near the river, and conveniently just outside of town and as close as you can possibly get to the west entrance of GNP. We didn't want to leave!
My wife and I and another couple rented this home at the end of September. First, the location is perfect - just outside the west gate of the Park. There is close proximity to the west side of the Park, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hiking, etc, all of which we enjoyed. The home was ideal for two couples. There are two separate suites on both floors, each with a king size bed. The kitchen was totally provisioned with all the essentials. We spent every evening on the large upstairs deck that has a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and forests. The trees were washed in gold. A wonderful place to enjoy evening wine and cheese. The home is as depicted in the photos, but I would agree with other reviews in that it has more curb appeal than what shows. We had a memorable stay and would highly recommend this home.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very relaxing sitting on the porch during a rain storm watching the leaves fall. The spa tub was a bonus! Quiet location with neighbors nearby.
This beautiful cabin so close to Glacier National Park was everything we hoped it would be. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a week's stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We greatly appreciated the little touches such as trail mix packs and welcoming note left on the kitchen table as well as the shampoo, conditioner and lotion in each bathroom. The availability of the bear spray to take on our hikes was also much appreciated and we are happy to report that it was returned back to the cupboard unused:)
Thank you Mark and Karol!!

We absolutely loved the cabin! We were welcomed with treats for hiking and everything you would need for a five night stay. We loved having all the essentials including the bear spray! We have stayed a lot of places, and it is really great to not have to worry about paper products, foils, detergent and toilet paper!. The grill worked perfectly and the kitchen was well stocked. We stayed with 6 people- two couples and two teenagers. The teenagers had the pull out beds, that were okay for them- I don't think an adult would find it comfortable. The location was perfect! The kids could walk to West Glacier while we had wine on the porch. You will not be disappointed with this cabin, thanks for great memories!
