The discreet entrance belies the presence of a rare luxury in the old town with a private garden ideal for al fresco dining, reading or just relaxing. Large French doors lead into the living area of this cleverly converted cellar with a well equipped open kitchen. The dining table seat 6 with comfort, the sofa and armchairs are large and comfortable.
The staircase spirals up to the bedrooms and bathroom. The feeling of space is enhanced by high ceilings, supported by original wooden beams. This home is from the turn of the previous century and has been decorated to complement its natural character with a 'simplicity is elegance' philosophy.
Induction oven, equipped kitchen, Cable TV, 50' Plasma TV, Reversible A/C, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Dryer. All lights in the house are on dimmer switches, heated floor in Bathroom, walk in Italian style shower. Large Bedrooms with high ceilings, exposed beams and solid oak hardwood floors. Stair gate upstairs for kids and highchair, travel cot, toy box, bed safety rail, potty and stepping stool available upon request.
A stone's throw from the Mediterranean, the marina and beaches 'La Bougainvillea ' is in the centre of Old Town of Antibes.
Ideally situated between Nice and Cannes, Antibes has the largest private marina in Europe and is home to the most luxurious yachts in the world. The Old Town, which dates back to the fifth century BC, is a labyrinth of charming streets filled with shops, street cafes, restaurants, galleries, museums and churches within the town’s historic ramparts.
With local weekly markets and countless artisans’ workshops situated in and around the town, Antibes offers shoppers a variety of unique goods. Renoir’s home and the Picasso Museum, which contains the artist’s locally inspired works, are testimony to the rich cultural history and beauty of Antibes. The town is also the gateway to the gorgeous Cap d’Antibes, with its stunning panoramic views of secluded sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, characteristic of Antibes and its surroundings.

'La Bougainvillea' is renovated to a very high standards with beautiful bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and a private and secluded courtyard for al fresco dining.
Although in the centre of the Old Town, we're on a quiet street unlike many other rental properties, so you don't have all the street noise at night. The house is also very cool on hot Summer's days due to the very effective aircon, the thick walls of the house and the shaded courtyard outside.
We have a stair gate upstairs and can provide a cot, high chair, toy box, bed safety rails, stepping stool, potty etc upon request.
We'll also be happy to assist you where we can in providing local information and recommendations.
What a fantastic property, perfect for our family of 4! Beautiful bedrooms, great bathroom (kids loved the bath!) with very good shower. Living area also provided all we needed, including great coffee machine!
Very close to cafés, bars and restaurants, perfect after a day at the beach. Everything we needed was provided, including beach towels, beach umbrella and beach games.
The owner was very helpful with all enquiries prior to our trip and we had easy communication with the lovely Cami who met us on arrival at the property with keys etc.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 days in June, 2016. It was exactly as pictured - very comfortable and well appointed. We had a lovely dinner on the terrace one evening and used the available beach chairs and umbrella one day.
The location was great and accessible to central Antibes. There is a grocery store across the street and several bakeries close by. It is within easy walking distance down to the harbour and there are many restaurants nearby. Antibes is lovely and you can easily take the train to visit Cannes etc. We were very lucky and obtained parking across from the apartment each day.
We would highly recommend this apartment!
Dealing with the owner was a joy, prompt, helpful and friendly.
The property is adorable, the courtyard area a huge bonus and the air conditioning a life saver!
We would have given 5*, however there were a few problems with leaks and a cupboard door, plus had to stand waiting in the sun for 15-20 minutes on arrival, as the gentleman letting us in was late. Not his fault and very apologetic, but not the best start!
We would not hesitate to recommend this property, and would love to stay there again.
My husband and I had a lovely stay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the old town or using public transport to venture out and about. We certainly would stay again !!

Ajoutons que la situation de cet appartement est remarquable. Bien que situé au coeur d'Antibes, à proximité immédiate de tous les commerces et services, y compris autobus et trains; la location est d'un calme absolu et on n'entend pas le moindre bruit de rue.
