About this property

Light & spacious, old, stone Farmhouse w large pool, privacy & stunning views!

Casa Roberta is a beautiful, recently restored, traditional farmhouse in a private setting on the south facing slope of a peaceful valley, sitting among its own olive grove, copse and vineyard. Unfortunately, photographs cannot truly convey the atmosphere of the house and environs and do not do justice to the spectacular views of the Sibillini mountains or the stunning evening skies! (If you don't believe us - see the recurring comment in our guests' reviews!)

There is plenty of space for leisurely meals for 10 people on the covered terrace or in the shade of an adjacent overhanging tree. Wide steps lead down to the large sun terrace by the 12m x 6m pool with level lawn and another shade tree beyond. From the terrace, you can watch over the children in the pool. The olive grove and vineyard nestle below the house, waiting to be explored, and a vine-covered sitting out area beckons come Aperitivo time!

Principal internal features include a very spacious ground floor and two large master bedrooms with equally large ensuite bathrooms (bath, walk in shower, basin, wc and bidet). On the top floor, two generous king-size rooms - separated by a library landing for privacy - share a shower room. With a large but welcoming lounge and a separate snug plus the separate dining room and outdoor areas, there is comfortably space for 10-12 without feeling crowded. A full size Table Football inside gives authentic Italian entertainment! Plus a DVD player and library.

Casa Roberta enjoys a perfect, serene location - disturbed only by birdsong and the occasional tinkling of goat bells. Yet, stunning medieval hilltop villages, world-class restaurants and vineyards, roman ruins and a local town with all amenities and fantastic boutiques are all only a 15 minute drive away. Day trip destinations include the Unesco-listed city of Urbino, the hidden gem that is Ascoli Piceno, the stunning Basilica of Loreto (site of the Virgin Mary's relocated home), Assisi, Gubbio, Maranello (the home of Ferrari), beautiful Spoleto and even Orvieto (for those who don't mind a long day). If you want to dip your toes in the Italian beach experience, there are plenty of Adriatic beaches, with seafood restaurants, less than 1 hour away. We could go on... but you get the idea!

Oh - and did we mention the views??

Super villa with jaw dropping views!
Our party of 10 enjoyed a fantastic week at Casa Roberta - the pictures don’t do the villa or the views justice! The house was spotless, well equipped and beautifully appointed. The pool is large, well maintained and within sight of the outdoor seating area which is a huge bonus. The views from the house across fields, hilltop towns and churches to the Sibillini mountains beyond were simply astounding - we never tired of admiring them. All in all, this was an absolutely idyllic week at a beautiful property.

Spacious comfortable villa with amazing views and fantastic pool.
We spent 2 weeks here in August 2016 and loved every minute. The villa was very comfortable and very well equipped and nicely done inside. The pool was lovely and the views amazing. Tolentino was the biggest nearby town about 15 mins away and well worth a visit. Lake Fiastra was just gorgeous and we went twice whilst there. So many lovely places of interest so it was a great base for exploring or just chilling by the pool. I was inhabited by an Italian mama and could not stop baking and was hugely inspired by Max who we hired for a birthday one night to cook for us. Well worth it! Loved every minute!

Bellissima!
Just what the doctor ordered. A fabulous property where the spacious house is tastefully restored and is light and airy and the pool area is to die for with fabulous views to the Sibillini mountains. A real hideaway for rest and relaxation but also in easy access of delightful towns to visit of which there is plenty of information for you in the house. We managed the white roads easily in a little fiat panda. Our only disappointment was that the local chef Max was away on holiday so we missed having one of his evenings which are so highly recommended but that is another reason to return to this little area of heaven. A truly wonderful holiday and we can't wait to return.

Absolutely stunning house and location
We are recommending the house to all of our friends. It is a stunning property inside and out. The pool is fantastic and the views from the terraces and the pool in both directions are exceptional. We loved the peace and quiet and driving the white roads in a nine seater is an experience in itself. There are some excellent traditional restaurants close by and we would recommend a trip to the beach at Sirolo. Mostly though it was difficult to tear ourselves away from relaxing around the pool. We cannot recommend this house highly enough.

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful setting
We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at Casa Roberta. A beautiful house with fantastic views of the wonderful countryside of Le Marche. The owners were so helpful right from our first enquiry. The house is very large and spacious and very well equipped. We had a few rainy days and that's when the inside of the house came into its own very comfortable and lots of space for us all to spread out. A large DVD collection, table football and various games also kept us all entertained while it rained! Spacious comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, a lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers and pretty grounds. Fantastic information (4 volumes) about the area, towns, villages, restaurants, activities, shopping, beaches, etc anything we wanted to know about was in the folders. We had Max to cook for us who not only produced great food but also kept us entertained. All in all a great house to rent would highly recommend and hope to return.
