About the property

4 bedrooms 3 baths, sleeps 12

Views & convenience: Asheville Mountain Vista is located just off Asheville's Scenic Highway #694, Town Mountain Road, a convenient 3 miles from the heart of downtown, yet the setting of the home is private and provides lovely Mountain Views. In another three miles (opposite downtown) Town Mountain Road ends on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Craven Gap, mile post 377, for convenient Parkway access.

About the house: Walk into the 1,400 square ft open post & beam living area, with open kitchen, dining room, living area & TV room with queen sleeper sofa & full bath, wood stove on one end and fireplace on the other. Floor to ceiling windows take advantage of the views, especially nice in winter. Moving downstairs takes you to the 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have large windows & private doorways out to another large deck. This level has two full baths, a Washer/Dryer, and another wrap-around deck accessible directly from 3 of the 4 bedrooms.

Ample decking around the home on two floors, rock patio with outdoor fireplace, hot tub

Perfect 30th Birthday Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in the house with my mom and friends over New Years to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was perfect! Amazing view and location, and I can't say enough about how well the floor plan of the house works for bigger groups. We loved the open kitchen (which looks so much newer than the photos), all the windows, two big living room areas and having the bedrooms all downstairs. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but my friends and I are already trying to figure out when we can rent that house again! Definitely recommend it!

Stunning view - great access!

  • 4 of 5

The home was a great choice for our 3 day vacation in Asheville. Beautiful view, big open kitchen easy access to downtown Asheville. Hot tub needs a full day to heat up so keep that in mind. It's pet friendly but remember to keep pets on leash.

Very Comfortable and Relaxing Weekend Stay

  • 5 of 5

My family was attending a wedding in the area, and needed a place to stay. This was so much more comfortable than hotel rooms! The house is well maintained, and a breeze to get to from Downtown. Very quiet too! The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. We definitely would like to return some day when we don't have so much pre-planned events to attend!

Property was very comfortable. Charming mountain home with rustic but comfortable qualities.

  • 5 of 5

Lots of space to spread out. Plenty of beds if privacy is not required of every one. Lighting on the lower level, where all bedrooms are, is a little dim! No big deal unless you were there for wedding festivities which required a bit more attention to detail! I would rent again in a heartbeat because I will not likely be in the area again as mother of the groom!

Rustic but Modern

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I had a blast at this property, located on the side of Town Mountain overlooking Asheville. The cabin looked like a relic from another era--in a good way--but the interior was very 2016... Newly remodeled kitchen, huge TV, all the comforts of home. Plenty of space both inside and outside to relax, and the view is breathtaking. I truly cannot recommend this property enough. 10/10

Perfect location for a getaway in the mountains with easy access to downtown Asheville!

  • 5 of 5

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house was spacious but cozy and has the perfect "mountain house" vibe to make our quick trip feel like a mountain getaway! It was a quick uber ride to downtown Asheville, and we enjoyed being a little outside of the city to take in the breathtaking surroundings. The house was clean, the kitchen was stocked with all the tools and appliances we needed, and Steve and his team were available if needed. Overall, would highly recommend this spot!

Location

Car: necessary

For recreation and shopping our location just couldn't be better. Asheville Mountain Vista is just 3 miles from the heart of downtown and just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville is an exciting town with great shopping, fabulous dining, nightlife and outdoor recreation. The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village are about 6 miles from the house. Purchase discounted tkts directly from us AND they are good for 2 consecutive days of entry.

In early August, Asheville hosts one of the largest street fairs of the Southeast, Bele Chere. The Blue Ridge Parkway gives our visitors easy access to Western North Carolina's beautiful outdoors, with excellent hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, fishing & motorcycling.
