The apartment has been recently refitted with the luxuries of a modern home. With all modern amenities this is somewhere where you can find rest and relaxation within the hustle and bustle of London. The flat is on the 3rd floor with a lift in the building.

About Jude Mezger

We (Theo & Jude) are a married couple who live in the Hampshire countryside just an hour south west of London.

We have an icecream company called Judes, based n Twyford near Winchester.

Whilst my husband and I still are slightly involved with the company. We oversea the company but also run the charity side, by inviting school children into Judes, grade 8, and show them around setting them a Judes challenge programme.

The day to day running is now left to two of our sons and a very good friend of theirs.

We have 4 children, 2 of whom live in London. We find ourselves travelling up to London most weeks, often for a DIY projects when one of our children may need a hand.

We now, proudly, have two grandsons aged 2years 5 months and 8 months living in Battersea.. This is our eldest sons family who is 39 years.

Our second son, aged, 36 is married and loving living in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. they are both artists.

Our third son, 35yrs is also married and living inBattersea.

Our youngest, daughter aged 30 is living in Birmingham working for Gas Street church, married and her husband is a Worship leader and composer.

We love spending our time between the beauty of the Hampshire countryside and the excitement of London.

Why Jude Mezger chose Chelsea

We purchased this apartment in 2009 from a close relative. This apartment holds many happy memories for us as a family. Elm Park gardens is such a wonderful locations. Within 5 minutes you are able to access restaurants, shops, buses, all take you to the sights of London

The flat is very light and airing with views over residential gardens.

I feel totally safe travelling in the area, whether by foot, bus or tube. Personally I walk everywhere or go by bus. You do need an OYSTER CARD for public transport. A pre paid card. Bought in tube stations, some newsagents. the closest in by Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on the Fulham Road.

What makes this apartment unique

Located in a traditional London mansion block, the apartment has many of the unique Victorian features with high ceilings and light rooms. This is combined with a modern feel to create a beautiful and relaxing open space.

The apartment is perfectly located for visiting the museums, shops, restaurants and bars of Kensington and Chelsea and is a great base for exploring the gems of London.

We are a short bus journey, or 15 minute walk from our wonderful Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V and A museum.

The V and A has the most wonderful Sculpture room, Tapestry Room and a wealth of exhibits.

We are 20 minutes walk to:

The Proms, at the Royal Albert Hall.

Chelsea Flower Show.

Wimbledon Tennis is shown live on a big screen at the Bluebird Cafe, 5 minutes walk away.

There is a list of favoured restaurants in the flat. One of my guests, recently discovered FRANTOIO on the Kings Rd, 397 KINGS ROAD 02073524146 an Italian Restaurant that is a long standing customer selling JUDES ICECREAM.

If you wish to visit the Hampshire Country side a girlfriend , who is an artist,has just renovated the most beautiful barn in a pretty village called Alresford, near Winchester. A city that is full of history, the oldest capital of England.

Welcoming, peaceful and cosy

This gem of an aparmtment met our expectations completely. After long flights from Australia it was so lovely to arrive and be met by Carol (Jude’s friend) and be shown our home for the next two weeks! The apartment was cosy, well set out and more than enough room for two adults and a teenage son. Lots of lovely eateries, coffee shops nearby and M&S, Sainsburys within easy walking distance.... This trip we used the bus more and the number 14 was right on our doorstep (booklet in flat) and South Kensington tube was only a short bus trip away too. Proximity to using other buses was great as well and easy to navigate.

Walked our socks off and enjoyed so much of our time in London. The flat gave us the opportunity to feel like we were Londoner’s for 2 weeeks!

Comfortable, roomy in a great location

My wife, son (17) and I enjoyed a week in the flat. The location is very nice. Good neighborhood with shops and restaurants. The tube is an easy walk. If you don't want to walk, a bus stop is a few steps away. Jude was wonderful to deal with and very welcoming. The apartment had two nice sized bedrooms. The kitchen was more than adequate and well equipped. I hope that we can get back to London, and would absolutely want to let this cozy apartment again.

Chelsea Flat

Perfect location and excellent accommodations during our London stay. Jude was fantastic to work with on the initial details and communication throughout our stay. Flat was equipped with all the essentials. Very easy access to bus and tube transportation. Quiet and safe area, just steps away from shops, cafes, and restaurants.

A Perfect Home Away

I've stayed in this flat twice now, and walking in, it instantly feels like I'm home.

Terrific location between South Ken and Chelsea, easy to get everywhere, lovely shops nearby (both mini Sainsburys and mini Marks, as well as wonderful delis and bakeries; a full size Waitrose in the King's Road is a bit of a walk, but do-able).

And the flat itself is stylishly homey and comfortable, very spacious and light, wonderful urban views. Easy walk to the river and across the bridge to Battersea Park (great for a runner like me). Heat and hot water are plentiful; in the winter radiator heating is if anything too warm, but you can open the windows and adjust the individual units. The owner is super friendly, as well as the manager. Oh, and a washer and separate dryer--not one of those combination things, a proper clothes dryer! The layout is ideal if you're sharing—there's a very separate en suite bedroom at the back, and a larger bedroom in front with a large bath next to it. Really comfortable beds. Kitchen is stocked with basic cookware; you wouldn't probably do a dinner party, but most everything you'd need on holiday. (And the owners are ice cream makers and stock their ice cream in the freezer!)

I hate to even give it this rave because I don't want it to become too popular!

To be balanced, one possible negative: the area is of course pretty posh, so the restaurants and shops reflect that, and if you're looking for a diverse neighborhood with quirky individual shops, this is not the area. I have been disappointed (as all over the planet) to see the chain stores and posh retailers take over.

But that said, the plusses far far outweigh those small minuses. It's a gem.

This was the second time staying at this well located and lovely property.

It was so nice after a busy day of exploring to be able to return to Jude's welcoming flat. The rooms are bright and spacious. The beds top notch. The kitchen and baths fully equipped. The location makes both underground and bus transport a breeze. There is a range of restaurants and several markets within a couple of blocks. The museums are an easy walk through lovely leafy neighborhoods. Both times we have stayed it has been hard to leave. Despite over a dozen trips to London there is always a spot not visited. Jude has great advice and has stocked a library of guide books. Despite all the wonders London has to offer one of the nicest days was spent on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book. Can't wait to return

Quiet oasis in a bustling city

We enjoyed a lovely week in London. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to everything needed to stock it, but far enough from main streets that traffic noise did not intrude. Buses and the tube were very close. It is spacious and well-equipped. Two full baths facilitate a family's morning routines. We particularly appreciated Jude's suggestions, and her ice cream samples.

Elm Park Gardens is a quiet residential area in the heart of Chelsea, within walking distance of the excellent transport links of South Kensington tube and Sloane Square tube. There are also extensive bus links within meters of the flat.

The Fulham Road and the Kings Road have many buses which go to all areas of London and major sights. Jude will have the information in the flat. The best ap for buses is: Next Bus.

Buses no longer take cash, An Oyster card must be bought. From a Tube Station, or a newsagent near the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on the Fulham Road.

With excellent links to museums in South Kensington,( Natural History,Science and V&A )

The V&A is a hidden gem, Judes favourite room is the Sculpture Cast Room and the most magnificent Devonshire hunting Tapestries

.The Royal Albert Hall,home to all sorts of concert and sporting activities.

Hyde Park, horse riding. Boating, a large relaxing park.

London's finest shopping (Harrods,Fortnum and Mason,Covent Garden ) and West End Theatres.

Buckingham Palace 20 minute bus ride.

The Tower of London, where there has been an exhibition of the most magnificent ceramic poppies. Dedicated to servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War.

Jude has just been to THE HARRY POTTER STUDIOS, a fabulous experienced, enjoyed by all ages BUT I did book 9 months ago for my chosen date. Well worth going to if you are a fan like I am.

Guests check out is 10am and arrivals from 4pm. Latest arrival is 8pm. If the arrival is after 8pm I ask you to give the person meeting you £50 in CASH.

If the arrivals are at different times please contact Jude and she will try to accomodate.

We accept children over the age of 12 yrs.
