We (Theo & Jude) are a married couple who live in the Hampshire countryside just an hour south west of London. We have 4 children, 2 of whom live in London. We find ourselves travelling up to London most weeks, often for a DIY projects when one of our children may need a hand.
We now, proudly, have two grandsons aged 2years 5 months and 8 months living in Battersea.. We love spending our time between the beauty of the Hampshire countryside and the excitement of London.

There is a list of favoured restaurants in the flat. One of my guests, recently discovered FRANTOIO on the Kings Rd, 397 KINGS ROAD 02073524146 an Italian Restaurant that is a long standing customer selling JUDES ICECREAM.
If you wish to visit the Hampshire Country side a girlfriend , who is an artist, has just renovated the most beautiful barn in a pretty village called Alresford, near Winchester. A city that is full of history, the oldest capital of England.
Her web site is http://www.thebarnalresford.co.uk A car rental would be necessary. There is a car hire outlet at Winchester Station.
The flat is very comfortable. Lots and lots of windows and light. The location Is fantastic, easy to get to busses and the underground.
Jude made us feel so welcome and was very helpful.
We will definitely come back.
This was a wonderful place to stay. Not only is the property clean, light, comfortable and welcoming, it is also in one of the most convenient locations imaginable. Equidistant between South Ken, Sloane Square and Gloucester Road tubes, you can get everywhere very easily. You can walk around in the neighbourhood at all times of day and night feeling safe and surrounded by wonderful city atmosphere and bustle. A real treat for me as a single middle aged woman in London for a lengthier stay. Fabulous reprieve after busy nights in the West End or the madness of pre-Christmas shoppers. Surrounded by extraordinary cafes for the coffee connoisseur and bakeries for those who like sweeter treats. I will definitely be back. Don't forget to download Citymapper which means that you feel like a total Londoner, jumping on and off buses with ease. Thank you Jude--you made the whole experience friendly and easy!
Elm Gardens apartment was ideal for our stay. The location was terrific and the apartment was clean, bright and comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was perfect for when we had friends stay with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again our next time in London.
Jude the owner was helpful and greeted us upon our arrival. Thank you Jude for a having such a lovely apartment!
We had an incredibly pleasant two week stay in Jude's lovely flat. As others have stated it is exactly as described. Great airy space, totally equipped, and the beds and bedding were most comfortable. Jude and Theo have to be two of the most gracious and genuine people on the planet. We visit London yearly so some of our adventures are a bit quirky. This year we did a legal London tour that was fascinating including observing an appeal at the Royal Courts of Justice and a trail at the Old Baily. The choir at the Brompton Oratory was spectacular. Kenwood House at the top of Hampstead Heath is not to be missed. The remains of the Roman amphitheater in the Guild Hall museum was quite a surprise. Counting all the Jude's ice cream signs all over London including those in the Houses of Parliament---such fun. Walks along the Thames from Battersea Bridge to Vauxhall were a great way to work off lunches in London's historic pubs. What a great visit and a great place to stay. We hated to leave!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is large, and comfortable. Two bedrooms and two baths, large beds, and lots of space. A nice kitchen with everything you need. The location is great!
My husband and I have now stayed in this flat twice, most recently from June 9-20, 2016. We love it. It makes us feels like London residents rather than tourists. The owner's description is totally accurate. It is an open, airy, light, spacious and very clean flat in a wonderful neighborhood. It is a five minute or less walk to both Fulham Road and Kings Road and an easy and pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the South Kensington tube station. It is just a little farther to the V & A, Natural History and Science Museums. Shops and restaurants are close by. The kitchen is very well equipped and of course having a washer and dryer is a huge benefit. The owner and her husband are easy to work with and delightful. We are big fans!
