This villa is absolutely wonderful, it exceeded all our expectations and the location is great. Sunrise and sunsets are spectacular as the view from the villa provided the right vantage point. The indoor pool proved to be be a great asset as we had many rainy days to contend with. Rooms were large and more than comfortable.
Ms. Shirmin did a wonderful job of keeping things clean and was such a pleasure to be around. My grandmother (91 yrs old) just loved her.
Definitely no regrets whatsoever and will come again in a heartbeat. Thank you Mr. Guzman for your always prompt response and thanks to Shirmin for her kindness, patience and great work. Thanks to Gus for helping sort things out and being accommodating.
Our family truly found Paradise while staying hear. God bless you all for the coming year!
The villa looked like everything in the photos. It was well-kept and clean. The organisation process with the owner was smooth. I would definitely recommend this property to others. Also, the beach is right across the road which made things even more enjoyable. The villa was just simply beautiful.
Our vacation was a birthday celebration of my sister, my daughter and one of my very good friends, the room were spacious and clean, the staff was very nice, we felt save at at time. I would definitely recommend it.
This is the second time we stayed for a week and cant wait to go back again! Beautiful, secure villa, extremely spacious and pristine with a private indoor pool on the patio which overlooks a spectacular view of the Caribbean sea. The grounds are lush and well maintained. Definitely a five star property within steps from the beach. Airport pickup included a rum punch welcome and an excellent driver (Gus) who took care of our needs that included tours, dining recommendations and sites of interest. Our housekeeper (Sherman) made sure our villa was always spotlessly clean and comfortable, We cant thank Gus and Sherman enough for making our stay magical. We had a chance to meet the owners who are most gracious and accommodating. Appropriately named "Paradise Found Villa" a place to add to your bucket list!!
Our group of 10 friends who have traveled together for over 10 years now have another favorite villa. Paradise Found on Tobago's beautiful Mt. Irvine Beach has 5 lovely bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom, a spectacular covered pool/lounge area that opens off the living/dining room - AND a dining room table that actually accommodates 10 people. (Can you tell that is one of our pet peeves when we rent a villa for a group of 10 only to find a dining table that seats 6???) And no mosquitos or other bugs!!
Gus, the villa manager, provided transportation while we were there. His van only holds 7 people besides the driver, but we generally have less than 10 who want to do the same thing on the same day, so this actually worked out for us. We needed a second vehicle to get to and from the airport - Gus made the arrangements for us. The kitchen is well stocked for a group this size, and we generally had Gus take a few of us to the grocery store to lay in supplies every few days. There is a small grocery and also a veggie and fruit stand run by the Rasta man (his term!) just around the bend - very walkable - for some items. We learned of a butcher shop in town just before we left and that might be worth checking out if you are there for a bit. The fish market across the street is convenient but you need to check the times when the boats come in as the fish goes quickly. We had dinner at The Seahorse Inn one night and had mani-mahi that we had seen at the market earlier in the day. We were fortunate to be there at a time when Pat and Bob (owners) were staying in their apartment and they gave us some good ideas. Shirmin the housekeeper was friendly and helpful. We hired her to cook several dinners for us and got a taste of real island cuisine - delicious.
Gus also took us around Tobago including a hike in the rainforest and a trip to Argyll Falls where we were the only pole around - great swimming in the pool at the bottom of the falls!
All in all, a great place to stay, with or without a vehicle depending on your preference.
Let me just say upfront that I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND the Paradise Found Villa to anyone!
We were met punctually at the airport by a helpful chauffeur. Always a good start!
The villa was very close to the airport, so the journey was short, but no aircraft noise could be heard at the villa itself. The coastal road next to which the villa was situated had little traffic, and did not disturb.
There was a lovely beach and bay just across the road, which was safe, also for children, with lifeguards on hand. There was a snack bar and a children's play area. Perfect!
The villa itself was SUPERB! It looked out across the bay providing stupendous views. The gardens were well kept, and the whole villa was kept pristinely clean. The entrance hall and dining room were gleaming, the bedrooms (I was able to sneak a peek at all of them) were all clean and comfortable, and the largest room was very opulent indeed. I slept like baby! The kitchen had everything you could need to prepare your own meals, and there was a small supermarket and traditional roti stand a convenient 10 minutes walk up the road.
The piece de resistance was the patio and pool area, which provided rest and relaxation between trips and beach visits. We spent a lot of time here, chatting, drinking and we ended up not using the dining room but had our meals here instead. And it was great to take a dip in the pool to cool off.
Finally, the cleaning lady was very friendly (always smiling), very thorough and very helpful, giving us useful and interesting tips about the island.
Truly, we felt right at home, and we shall certainly go back!
