4 Bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for occupation by 8 to 9 persons

The villa is located in a dead-end street of urbanisation Varandas do Lago, so it has the facilities of a development but all the benefits of an independent villa. It is just a stroll to restaurants (on Julias- and Ancão beach and the restaurants on Vale do Garrão and Dunas Douradas urbanisations), tennis courts (on Vale do Garrão, 400 meters) and extra communal swimming pools (on Vale do Garrão).

Upper floor. Large - parents – sleeping room with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and a private balcony facing the swimming pool area. Further secluded terrace accessed from the landing.

Ground floor. Two twin bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and doors leading to the terrace overlooking the pool area. The second bedroom has a separate bathroom with shower. Kitchen with a door leading to the barbecue area. Spacious living with fireplace and dining room with French windows to a covered raised terrace with access to the swimming pool which has steps and a floodlit surrounding terrace. Partially secluded gardens with shrubs and trees and a small lawn.

Area description : Villa Alegria is situated in the heart of the so called Golden Triangle of the Algarve.

We advice you to check its location on Google Earth: click on the coordinates 37 ° 02'53 .01 'N, 08 ° 02'21 .53' west longitude. Next Villa Alegria, you will find three more villas: one with (just like Villa Alegria) 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and 2 villas with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms.

The villa have been built in the heart of the Golden Triangle and is in a straight line only 375 meters maximum from each other!

Sightseeing around Almancil: The church of Sao Lourenço de Matos is situated on a hill. It owes its name to Laurentius (3rd century), who's life was ended on a funeral pile because he gave the money meant for the construction of the church to the poor. In the 17th century the chapel was covered with tiles (azulejos). Together with the Marbel alter and the wood carving you should visit this church.

On 18 km. from the urbanisations you will find the centre of the capital city of the Algarve: Faro, with its beautiful historical centre next to the small vessel harbour, has several shopping centres. There are lots of cafes and restaurants as well.

The shops are modern and they can be compared with the shops you are used to in UK and Ireland. Most of them are opened from 09.00 until 13.00 hour and after the 'siesta' from 15.00 until 19.00 hour (in the summer until 20.00 hour). Between the city centre and Faro airport Forum Algarve mall is opened between 09.00 and 22.00.

Fun for Kids: In a country where the weather most of the year is warm and sunny, your children can play with water. Fortunately all the villas have a private swimming pool!

Older children can go to the communal pool of Riapark Garden hotel and the pool next to the tennis court on urbanization Vale do Garrão. Just a stroll of 200 meters!

Zoo marine

A water park with several dolphin, seal and sea-lion shows. One can also watch turtles, sharks, crocodiles, tropical fish and exotic and aquatic birds in the Oceans area that presents the life cycle of water and fauna from river source to ocean depth.

About Mr. Oebele Veenstra and Mrs Sietske Abma

We are Sietske Abma & Oebele Veenstra from the Netherlands and since February 2012 moved from Heemskerk (near Amsterdam) to the province of Friesland in the village of De Wilgen. Back to the roots.

Many years ago we made a 3-weeks-Portugal-tour with a final 'week of sun in the Algarve'. The environment of the village of Almancil are very pleased! Two years later went back and decided to buy a house to get yourself to stay and to rent.

At least twice in every year we go to our villa with pleasure. We are delighted with the (year-round) mild climate, friendly atmosphere, delicious food and luxurious surroundings.

As the urbanisation was set up in a luxury atmosphere, we thought we would make a good decision to buy a plot not far from the beach. With a constructor we trusted very much (by then we knew him for 8 years as has done jobs for our second villa in the Algarve) and an architect we were able to built a first class villa with private pool.

What makes this villa unique

The guests visited our villa Vivenda in the past informed us that they were very pleased about the quality, the facilities of the villa. What more can we say?

Beautiful week in a very nice villa

We spent a week in Villa Vivenda. Everything is perfect. The rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beautiful pool and large barbecue allowed us to spend beautiful days and evenings on the terrace. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood where the villas are all very beautiful. The beach is within walking distance (allow 15 minutes walk). Very pleasant it offers wide space of tranquility.

The announcement is true to reality. We recommend this villa. WIFI is good and the air conditioning is present in the living room and all bedrooms (essential during this month of August 2016!). We were pleasantly surprised to discover that all the windows were fitted with mosquito nets. Great week!

Villa Vivenda, op en top genieten van de Algarve.

Wij gaan al 15 jaar naar de Algarve voor een vakantie in de winter of het vroege voorjaar. Voor de vierde keer logeerden we onlangs in Villa Vivenda en het is altijd plezierig om er te zijn. Het huis is netjes, ruim en van alle comfort voorzien. De omgeving is rustig en je bent binnen enkele minuten op het strand of in het prachtige Ria Formosa natuurgebied. Voor golfers een prima uitvalsbasis naar de mooiste banen van Zuid-Europa en ook voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen is er veel te doen in de omgeving. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden!

A beautiful villa, well maintained, well equipped

The owners and managers were very helpful before we wnet and whilst we were there. We stayed out of season, just the two of us, and really enjoyed having such a lovely villa all to ourselves. The rooms are large, welcoming and maintained well. The main bathroom is particularly spacious, our bed was really comfortable, cooking at the villa was a pleasure, and lounging by the poolside was nicely secluded, although being unheated the pool wasn't really warm enough for more than a quick dip when we were there. The villa is situated in a cul-de-sac, so passing traffic is limited. There is a fabulous sandy beach a short walk away, with a selection of beach bars and restaurants in one direction and the lovely Ria Formosa Nature Reserve the other way. Restaurants and shops are a short drive away, although we can't really recommend any places to eat as we loved the villa so much that we bought food locally and cooked in every night! We would recommend using a satnav or google maps if you're not familiar with the area.

Best ever for Winterholidays

Die besten Wintertage die wir je in Portugal verbracht haben,

eine wirkliche Villa mit allem Komfort den man sich wünschen kann. Ideal für Ausflüge gelegen, bester Service durch Alina und Ihre Mitarbeiterin.

Das ist schon die 2te. Villa von unserem Vermieter die wir buchen, kann man nur weiterempfehlen, ein Besseres Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gibt es nicht.!!

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und kommen garantiert auch diesen Winter.

Tolle Familienvilla!

Die Beschreibung der Villa trifft fast ganz zu: Mit unseren drei Kindern und der gesamten Ausrüstung waren wir froh, mit dem Auto an den Strand fahren zu können.

Das Quartier, in dem die Villa steht, ist sehr ruhig. Der Garten ist schön gross mit vielen Gelegenheiten zum Verweilen. Das Highlight ist der riesengrosse Pool, dessen Wasser immer angenehm temperiert ist und der im Rahmen der zweitäglichen Reinigung des gesamten Hauses auch gepflegt wird. Man braucht sich also tatsächlich um nichts zu kümmern!

Das Haus selber ist sehr gross. Unsere drei Kinder hatten jedes ein eigenes Zimmer zur Verfügung, alle Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer sind auf Wunsch klimatisiert. Die Badezimmer sind gut ausgerüstet und zum Teil riesig (Elternbad). Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich drei grosse Sofas, die diesen Namen auch verdienen! Das WLAN kam ab und zu an den Anschlag, als alle gleichzeitig Videos streamen wollten. So schnell wie zu Hause ist es halt nicht, aber für den Urlaub völlig ausreichend und auch im Garten verfügbar. Die Küche haben wir nur wenig genutzt.

Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war von Anfang an sehr freundlich und auf Nachfragen wurde prompt geantwortet. Der Vermieter hat anscheinend schon Jahrzehnte Erfahrung im Vermieten seiner Villas in der Algarve und ist absolut vertrauenswürdig. Die äusserst netten Haushälterinnen, von denen eine sogar ausgezeichnet deutsch spricht, haben den tollen Aufenthalt und die gesamte Erfahrung mit ihrem Fleiss und ihrer aufgestellten Persönlichkeit abgerundet. Es wurde dreimal die Woche alles gereinigt und einmal die Woche die Bettwäsche gewechselt.

Kurzum durften wir in der Villa Vivenda einen ganz tollen Familienurlaub verbringen und kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder!

Immer wieder gut...

Die Villa für den entspannten und ruhigen Winterurlaub, ideal gelegen für

Ausflüge in die Umgebung, ca 1km zum Strand, Strandrestaurants sind top..

Die Inneneinrichtung ist super, alles vorhanden, vielleicht etwas kalt in den Badezimmern, aber nach ein paar Tagen kein Problem mehr. Der Service, Dank

an Alina, ist super, die Sauberkeit hat 10 Punkte verdient. Bereits die 2te Villa die wir vom Vermieter gebucht haben, Buchung und anschließende Abwicklung einfach spitze. Wir kommen wieder. Wilma,Dieter, Silvia und Jürgen.

The Algarve, the most popular province of Portugal, is famous for its beautiful beaches, its mild climate, its lovely nature and off course its attractive Golf courses. Most of the roads in the Algarve connect the one village centre to the other. If you are a little bit in a hurry, please use the A22 motorway.

Almancil (where our 2 villas are located) is a small city with at about 6.000 inhabitants. It is only 15 kilometres west of Faro airport (15 minutes by car). The city has several shops and services, e.g. supermarkets, magazine shops, baker shops, butchers, res­tau­rants and bars. Apart from a medical centre, there are doctors and dentists as well.

The urbanisations of Vale do Garrão and Varandas do Lago, where our villas are built on, are situated in the Golden Triangle of the Algarve, just in between the well-known resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago in Almancil, Algarve. This area is famous for its sandy beaches and its many golf courses. Both the parks are laying next to each other (only 500 meters in between). All the Villas are only approximately 1 kilometre away from the coast.

The holiday/residential development of Varandas do Lago is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, neighbouring Club do Ancão and Vale do Garrão. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests, the development is within easy reach of the famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, close to miles and miles of golden beaches, and stunning sunsets. Small development comprising of 190 detached villas and several townhouses. Future central facilities comprising of tennis courts, Bar/Restaurant and central pool area.

The localisation of both the urbanisations is ideal: it is just a stroll to the beach. At the beach, there are several popular restaurants. On the urbanisations, there are several general facilities like swimming pools (in Vale do Garrão; in Varandas do Lago this will be built at a later stage) and three tennis courts. Most of the buildings in the urbanisation are townhouses and private villas with between two and five sleeping rooms. Most of the houses have a private swimming pool. Our two villas have a private pool indeed!
