Apartment in great location, sleeps 4. Direct link to Heathrow & St Pancras.

This is a very bright apartment on the third floor (with an elevator) of a historic Victorian town house (A typical grand white London mansion block which is now a listed building). The apartment has long west facing views over a mews and is only four minutes walk from the largest open space in London - Hyde Park. The apartment comprises a sitting room with integral kitchen, a small bedroom and a bathroom.

The sitting room has a large west facing window with great views. There's a large comfortable sofa-bed, a dining table and four chairs, a coffee table, some high level cupboards and a tall fitted cupboard. The kitchen area is integral to the sitting room. There's an electric four ring hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge freezer and a washer-dryer. The bedroom has a large double glazed west facing window, a double bed, some high level cupboards and a chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath with power shower above, a washbasin, a WC and a linen cupboard. The apartment is not large (only 35 square metres) and would be ideal for a couple to live in long term but can sleep up to four people for a short holiday.

Guests can access the whole of this self contained flat. There will be someone available to interact with you by telephone or to come to the apartment to deal with any problems throughout the whole of your stay.

Please note that whilst I'm happy to let the apartment out over the Christmas period, no booking can start between 24th and 27th Dec. because I will not be available to meet you. The check out time of 11am allows the cleaner to prepare the apartment for the next guest (bookings are often back to back). If a guest has a late return flight and wants to make use of the apartment until a later time they would be advised to book an extra day. Alternatively there is a left luggage facility at Paddington Station.

The neighbourhood:

The flat is in a great location, within walking distance of Hyde Park (London's largest park), Little Venice, Oxford Street, Notting Hill Gate, Portobello Road Market and Paddington. There are lots of excellent restaurants on your doorstep. It's a very safe area.

Getting around

The apartment is a four minute walk from Lancaster Gate Station which is on the central line which connects with Oxford Circus, Liverpool Street and many other places of interest. It's a six minute walk to Paddington on the Bakerloo, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines. There are also lots of bus routes along Bayswater Road which is four minutes walk from the apartment.

Small unit in convenient location

Property is in very good location, close to both Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations. Apartment is on third floor and unfortunately elevator was not working throughout our stay. It is a small unit, suitable for two people.
