Pool is only heated June-December.

We are biking distance to the beaches and our neighborhood is a great place for walking. A brand new Bristol Farms Market has every healthy food offering and is just one block away. This desirable location is just steps from world famous restaurants and shops, multiple bus lines and the 405 & 10 freeways.

Fully furnished, it has plenty of storage, and is an oasis from the city, while being centrally located in the heart of Santa Monica. We have a bar-b-q for your enjoyment, and there are bike rentals close by. sometimes we even have bikes for you to use...LAX is a quick 20 minute car ride, and sights such as Venice Beach, UCLA, Disneyland, myriad Museums, and greater Los Angeles are very conveniently nearby. Gated private entry & permit parking provide security and ample parking right in front of the house. Our small family lives in the main house, with our sweet dog named Biscuit (22 lbs).

Ambient WiFi allows you to roam and stay connected while watching the sunset or enjoying the beautiful Santa Monica year-round weather.

LAX is a quick 20-30 minute car ride, and sights such as Venice Beach, UCLA, Disneyland, myriad Museums, and greater Los Angeles are very conveniently nearby.

Gated private entry & permit parking provide security and ample street parking right in front of the house.

The common area is like a private 5-star resort--see pictures and you be the judge!! Lots of sitting areas, sunny or shady, plenty of chaise lounges and umbrellas. Relax around or cool off in the large sparkling clean pool.

The owner is English and loves flowers so lets not forget the lovely landscaping--especially the roses and landscape lighting.

Built in bar-b-q with lighting allows for an alfresco - indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

When the sun goes down relax relax around the lovely glistening amethyst fire glass fire pit Simply plenty of good cheer and relaxation for all. Please note all the outside amenities are shared with the main house and 2 rental units.

Guests staying 7 or more days have access to the owners washer and dryer once a week with 24 hrs notice.

While living in a quiet enclave backyard, we are just a few minutes walk to everything: Starbucks, great restaurants, Bristol Farms-huge supermarket with an array of ready made

healthy choices and wine cellar, pharmacy, buses, freeways etc.

Conveniently located minutes walk to buses that go everywhere including downtown los angeles and LAX...

CARS...PARKING

Permitted parking on street right outside house. One permit is provided for 24 hour parking. A $75 Replacement charge will be applied if permit is not returned upon checkout.

BICYCLES

Brand new Nov 2015 Breeze launched bike share a fabulous system. Pick up a bike use for short or long time and drop it back off at any of it's 58 Santa Monica locations. Closest pick up from our house is 2 blocks!! Check it out. Best to download the app.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Absolutely amazing outside amenities like a 5-star Resort. Air Conditioning. Parking NEVER a problem for one car.

Quaint, clean, and great location!

The little cottage was just what we needed for our adventure in the Santa Monica area. Jill, supplied all the small things needed including beach towels to make a beach day easier for us! If ever in the areas again we would definitly choose this rental again! Hopefully it will be lottle warmer to enjoy the beautiful backyard escape!

A Perfect Get Away in Santa Monica

I spent a lovely 2 weeks at Jill’s Courtyard Casita. It was perfect for a restful visit in a beautiful garden setting with a glistening pool. After staying in over 20 vacation rentals over the last five years in the Santa Monica area I have finally found my home away from home. I have already made a reservation for my next visit! From the moment I arrived and entered the gated entrance I felt safe and surrounded by beautifully maintained home. The Courtyard Casita had everything I needed and more. Jill has decorated the casita in cool grays with hits of red throughout, two TVs, a very comfortable queen size bed with lovely linens and a beautiful marble shower. The kitchenette is compact but has everything you need to fuel your days! Jill is a kind and caring host who is always available with any need or concern. She shares her friendly dog Bisquit who kept me company many times as I relaxed. I’m really looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic host and perfect home away from home!

Jill is a great host making sure we have what we need. The Courtyard Casita is perfect for my two daughters and I. The shared pool/garden area is very well kept and is a favourite hangout for the girls and Biscuit (Jill’s adorable dog) at the end of day visiting what LA has to offer. Jill’s house is conveniently located to many attractions. The free parking on the street is a great bonus. Safe and beautiful neighbourhood with lots to offer within walking distance. We will definitely return whenever we visit LA and recommend to family and friends.
