The Artpad is a beautiful, one bedroom, ground floor apartment in an impressive Georgian town house overlooking the famous Great Pulteney Street. It is just a five minute walk over Pulteney bridge to the city centre plethora of cafes, restaurants and shops and two hundred meters from the Holburne museum.
This elegant apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard with modern touches but also in keeping with its Georgian history. It is decorated with several local artists work which can be purchased or just enjoyed.
The apartment consist of the following:
A beautiful, large drawing room overlooking Great Pulteney Street. There are two tall arched sash windows, a decorative fire place, gloriously high ceilings, chandeliers and cornices which make the apartment feel grand, light and inviting. There are three sofas, one of which becomes a sofabed to provide additional sleeping space if needed (additional cost). A flat screen TV/DVD player with BT Vision channels and super fast wifi is available throughout the apartment.
The bedroom with a Grand super king size bed has been furnished with both antique and modern touches to ensure comfort and grandeur. With its high corniced ceiling and chandelier this room feels romantic and inviting and is separated from the drawing room by the original full height Georgian marriage doors. Bed linen, towels, blanket and hair dryer are supplied.
With its South facing views the kitchen is bright, cheerful and fully equipped with all the mod cons including washer/dryer, dish weather, fridge freezer, microwave over, digital DAB radio/Docking system, toaster, kettle, iron, cutlery, crockery, glasses, cooking utensils etc etc. A modern Danish designed table and chairs provides seating for four.
The bathroom offers a full size bath with fitted shower and screen, vanity basin and toilet unit, heated towel rail and hand sensitive lit mirror.
Reading room and balcony-
This room is a brand new addition to the apartment, and can be accessed from either the bedroom or the kitchen. It provides a very cosy and light area to just relax in and enjoy the views towards the hills beyond. Alternatively open the folding french windows and sit out on the balcony with a relaxing aperitif before heading out to one of the many fine restaurants or pubs that Bath has to offer.

The property is situated in one of the most beautiful and grandest streets in Bath. It’s situated on the ground floor making access very easy. We always thought it would make an ideal holiday apartment due to its location and Georgian feel.
We have just finished having the apartment totally renovated so it will feel clean and new but with all the Georgian splendour that makes it so special.
This apartment has been called The Artpad as all the artworks in the apartment have been supplied and done by local artists - all pieces of work are available to buy. We will be changing the artwork on a rotational basis with other local artists every 6 months.
The apartment is also so centrally located that you have the ability to walk into the city in moments - fantastic. You can enjoy an evening out in one of the many restaurants or bars and simply walk back to your apartment. There is so much art and history to see in Bath and so many walks and bus tours. There is simply too much to explain and needs to be seen in person.
This apartment was fantastic in architecture, views, and location. It is situated on a grand street minutes away from the city centre. It was immaculate and updated and well decorated. Rebecca was a wonderful and very accommodating host. We had a travel delay which resulted in a very late arrival into Bath. Rebecca was quick to communicate and make me feel at ease regarding this and still welcomed us at the late hour. A wonderful memory to be able to stay in a wonderful place like this in beautiful Bath.
We booked this stunning apartment for our stay in September. From the outset Rebecca was impeccable and exemplary regarding communication, flexible timing and places to visit. She is a fun person with infectious humour and warmth.
The apartment caters for every need and is beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It is clean, bright, spacious and airy. The high ceilings and sash windows were charmingly periodic and the art was delightful.The balcony was a treat and the adjoining study / sunroom was a delight bathed in sunshine.The bed was one of the best we have ever slept in. The views were peaceful at the rear of the apartment and the mist descending from the hills was peaceful to watch. The traffic noise at the front was quiet and not intrusive. A parking permit was included but not required as we availed of public transport. The apartment is ideally centrally located.
During our visit we travelled to Highgrove House gardens - a memorable day - and explored other areas of Bath we had not managed to see during our previous visits to this beautiful city.
We left an item behind and it was no bother to Beccy delivering it by 'special courier' - her trusty bicycle - to the restaurant where we were having lunch. Thanks again Beccy!
Personally, we feel that we would like to keep this beautiful apartment a secret but the outside world deserves a treat!

The photos accurately depict this lovely property. Great Pulteney Street is nice and quiet, and the terrace on the back side of the property overlooks lovely gardens below. The flat is within easy walking distance of wonderful restaurants, a large grocery, bakeries and other shops and all of the historic parts of Bath. We would definitely book this property again!
From the moment we booked this apartment in Bath Rebecca was an absolute star, providing me with recommendations of where to eat and timings for the Thermae Spa and Roman Baths. Definitely above and beyond most concierge services we've come across. Although Rebecca was not there in person to greet us, access was easy and we found the property exceeded our expectations in size, comfort and wow factor with all the original features and those ceilings. Rebecca was in contact to ensure we had arrived safely and everything was to our satisfaction. It's one of those places you're desperate for friends and family to visit to appreciate it, but on the other hand you want to keep it a secret. There were so many lovely personal touches that had we stayed in a hotel, as originally intended, we would have missed this gem. We hope to return to sample more of the delights Bath has to offer. A beautiful apartment within walking distance to all Bath town attractions. Fully equipped, clean and tidy apartment, the pictures are exactly how it was.
We were a party of four girls and this was a great find and great value for money. Would certainly go back again and this would be a first choice for accommodation.

Train ride away from Bristol. Easy driving distance to Cheddar Gorge, Wokey hole caves and Stone Henge.
Bath is a small city where everything is in walking distance. There are many walks in the area (Bath skyline, bath canal paths) if you wish to escape the “city” feeling.
Bath truly is one of the most beautiful cities in the UK.
