About this property

Bright, Modern and Central One Bedroom Flat

The GreenStar Merchantile building is a beautiful listed property in the heart of Dundee City Centre. Although located in the city centre, the apartments are situated on a quiet street next to Abertay University and so provide a peaceful haven amongst the hustle and bustle of a major city. The building has been fully refurbished and reconfigured to form six stylish and fresh serviced apartments, ready to provide customers with a modern, comfortable and homely place to stay.
The Greenstar Merchantile building is a minute away from the historic and beautiful Mcmanus gallery and has a large variety of amenities on its door step. One can walk to both bus and train stations, as well as the prestigious V&A museum, Discovery point and a whole host of eclectic restaurants, cafes and shops. The Overgate shopping centre is also less than a 5 minute walk away, where you can find a variety of well established retail outlets.
We have six different apartments, from one to three bedrooms, offering flexibility, and the opportunity to host solo guests or groups of up to 8 people per apartment. Larger groups can also be accommodated as we have 2 apartments per floor.

Less than expected
Booked the property for the week of the British Open. After it was booked they realized it was the Open week and offered to cancel or I could pay a additional up charge of 680. 00. which I paid. When we arrived it was very disappointing . The building is described as Beautiful property and a peaceful haven on a quiet street. My first impression was this must be the wrong place. It was more like a dirt alley in a not so great area with big trash cans on both sides of the door with shuttered windows on the ground floor. The view out the bedroom window was a construction site . The pictures of the inside are accurate but the heavy fire doors to all the rooms could not be held open so were shut closed in each room . We could not figure out how to turn on the shower. So even though it was the British open week and rooms were very hard to find we left after 2 hours did not feel comfortable and felt we should find other accommodations. I think they should be more truthful about the location not everyone wants to walk down a dirty alley to get to there place at night.
