A quiet neighborhood with a great view!
We stayed here for 3 nights and really liked the location. The unit is super clean inside and out. The stars are bright and the night is quiet and this location. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Folsom area.
Scott was a good communicator and left everything super clean. Very respectful and considerate. Thanks for your business!
Peaceful and lovely
This was the perfect home away from home. Incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and overall lovely. Richard and Wendy certainly put a lot of thought and love onto this vacation rental. We were very comfortable staying with our 6 month old daughter, who loved looking at the lake view.
Thank you for letting us stay!

The perfect get away for the holidays!
Richard & Wendy were the perfect hosts. We so enjoyed spending a bit of time and a delicious meal with them during our 2-week stay. The Carriage House was exactly what we needed and was beyond our expectations. It provided everything you could possibly imagine: centrally located to the many attractions in the area, shopping, bird watching, deer crossings and hiking trails...but, best of all was the Carriage House itself and its beautiful view of Folsom Lake. Wendy & Richard provided everything from the pots & pans and dishes & silverware to the most comfortable double bed imaginable (and that's coming from a 6'5" husband that normally sleeps with me in a king bed!) Everything about this lovely abode was perfection. We'd definitely love to go back again during the Spring or Summer months to enjoy even more activities.
Sharon and Ed,
We so enjoyed meeting you both. You are a perfect example of how hosting can enrich your life and introduce you to great people. Thank you for the darling ceramic Christmas tree, the lovely at, and for staying with us!
Wendy and Richard
This was a great little spot. Clean, quiet apartment, friendly owners and lots of outdoor places to explore.
Cozy and clean with lovely balcony view
We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy apartment on Folsom Lake! The balcony was perfect for relaxing with an unobstructed view of the lake. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and amenities (washer/dryer, spacious shower, full fridge, microwave, toaster oven, stovetop, and even a dishwasher). Richard was very friendly and gave us some good tips for the area. Highly recommend for couples looking for a retreat while still within a short drive of activities!
Valerie and her new husband were a pleasure to host. You make us glad to be this business! Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you next time you're in the area.
The perfect retreat
I loved everything about my stay at the Carriage House. It is such a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views from the deck. It is clean and cute and stocked with everything I needed. I cried when I had to leave and will definitely be back! Hiking around the lake was a big highlight as was watching the hawks fly over the lake as I sat on the deck. The owners are so hospitable and welcoming and helpful with any questions. Loved my stay!
Lainie and her son Ryan were the perfect guests. We enjoyed having them and are welcome back anytime. They left the Carriage House very clean and neat.
Located in a rural setting overlooking Folsom Lake. Accessible and nearby outdoor activities include road and mountain biking, water sports, golf and hiking. Lake Tahoe is 90 minutes to the east and San Francisco 90 minutes to the west. Local area wine tasting is 30 minutes to the east and south. Old Town Folsom, a 15 minute drive, has many shops and restaurants as does Placerville, Old Hang Town, 30 minutes to the east. This is a great get away location in a peaceful, relaxing setting.
