Villa Mary is a private holiday villa in a traditional Mediterranean village named Pigi, surrounded by olive groves with offering sea view, swimming pool, 5 bedrooms and unique facilities such as gym, mini soccer field, basketball court, table tennis and children's playground. It is a perfect holiday destination for families with children or groups of friends!

The villa is divided into 3 independent floors of a 260 sq. m total area, in a plot of 2,500 sq. m with 5 bedrooms and it can accommodate 10 people in beds and up to 12 people if necessary.

- Indoor layout -

Entering the villa on the ground floor, there is an open plan area combining a dining area, a split-level living room area with a 42" HDTV, a fireplace, a fully equipped open plan kitchen.

On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and the other one with 2 single beds which has an en-suite WC. Also a bathroom with shower and washing machine is found on the same floor.

From the first floor's separate entrance from outdoor we enter into a playroom area with 46” HDTV and a Playstation 4. Then you will find the second open plan kitchen with small dining area. From the kitchen area, there is an access into a spacious 100 sq. m veranda with wonderful sea and mountain views. It has an additional barbecue if you wish to dine on the veranda!

On the first floor you will also find 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other one with a double bed with en-suite bathroom with shower. There is one more bathroom with shower is found on this floor.

The single beds can be transformed to be a double if it’s needed.

From the basement’s separate entrance we enter a hall way to a bedroom with a double bed. A bathroom with shower is also found on this floor. There is no air-conditioning on the basement however the room is very cool as it is on the basement and there are also fans. A gym room is also located on this floor.

- Outdoor area -

Spacious outdoor area and its unique facilities are the highlight of our villa. These facilities ensure that all of our guests can find a way to enjoy their day!

The owner owns a cooking place 40 meters away from the house, where you can have lunch and breakfast by pre-order in great prices as you are guests in our villa! Our services include: Welcome Basket - Cleaning every 3 days - Linen and towel change every 3 days - Pool towels provided - Gardener twice a week - Cleaning and pool maintenance 2 or 3 times a week (depends on the weather). Services upon request (extra charge): Doctor on call - Massage - Daily cleaning - Baby sitting - Daily excursions - Bicycle rent - Photographer - Delivery of traditional Cretan food to your place - Airport transfer - Cook (Chef) in your villa. Great Villa!

A great villa with a great pool and plenty of space to enjoy!

Has everything you'd want and need, large pool, kids pool, Jacuzzi, gym, football pitch, mini kids playground, basketball court and table tennis.

The owners, Stelios & Maria, were close by should you need and were very welcoming and full of good knowledge and advice on the surrounding area.

Beautiful villa with a great pool / facilities

We have just returned from a week stay, 3 families of 2 adults and 2 children, aged from 9 years to 10 months. The main part of the villa and the first floor have recently been refurbished to a great standard, we were very impressed. The only thing that let the villa down was the basement level, which hadn't been touched. It was very dated and dark, which was ok for sleeping but there was no relaxation/dining area, unlike the other two floors. It wasn't a big issue as we all ate together but i think that it's something that needs to be addressed and probably will be. Its also away from the main living quarters, so when the adults wanted to relax in the evening, two children had to sleep in a cot / on the sofa in the main part and had to be moved each night, which was not ideal. The owner Stelios and Maria, were great hosts, bringing us home made food which was amazing. They cooked us a meal one evening, the best mousakka I have ever eaten. Lots left over, enough for two days of food. I also would not hesitate booking with Kostas / Etouri travel. Very quick at responding to emails and even arranged for us to use the sun lounges at a beach club, with complimentary wine and fresh fruit. I would definitely recommend them and this villa.

Amazing family Villa

The Villa Mary won't disappoint! It has just been modernized almost throughout to a very high standard. The basement rooms had not been done when we stayed, but everywhere else had it was clean, modern and it was evident that a lot of care had been taken. The photos do not do it justice.

As we were traveling with small children my only slight concern was the children's play area, although you could see the swing, slide etc was not old they had started to deteriorate in the heat of Crete, and especially at the top of the slide, the little ones had to go down it on a towel other wise it could have nipped their legs.

We had a Yoga lesson and a Tai massage by the lovely Mireille, I would highly recommend her.

The owners were welcoming, and the few things we needed were addressed quickly. We would go back and we recommend the villa. it was our first holiday to Crete and we absolutely loved it. Rethymno is a short drive away, and it was about an hours drive from the airport.

Great holiday

Visited the villa with my girlfriend and five other couples. Great holiday. Loved the villa, perfect for big groups, plenty of space for everyone inside and outside, and the basketball court, football pitch and pool are all pretty unique.

The owner Mr. Stelios is a great guy and very helpful. For €10/person he whips up a fantastic dinner - well worth the money.

Would highly recommend Villa Mary!

A Fabulous Week

Villa Mary lived up to expectations - especially the pool and 5 a side pitch, which kept the children entertained for hours. Stelios and Maria made us feel very welcome and their food was excellent.....so was their home made wine and raki!

Well placed for exploring the island (Chania and Heraklion about an hour away) but equally good for staying in and chilling.

Arkadi Monastry is just 15 mins away and definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful place for a large family holidays

We have chosen this villa as a place for the extended family get together on the beautiful Crete island. The villa is quite nice, spacious and offers all facilities one would need to enjoy holidays, including a very nice and large swimming pool, sports facilities, barbecue place, entertainment, etc. Besides, the owners, Stelios and Maria, would fix for your company an excellent dinner at their little tavern in the adjacent garden per order, in addition to being very nice and pleasant people in general. The villa is cleaned every third day or so with turning down beds' linen and towels so an adequate hygiene is ensured. The villa is located in a quiet village some 3 km from nearest beaches so renting cars is recommended although there is a public buss stop right next to the villa. The car parking area of the villa is large enough for 3 mid-sized or 4 small cars, which is quite convenient for a large group of people having different ideas about visiting the places around the island. In general, villa is located close to Rethymno so many places of interest are not too far away. We would certainly recommend this villa to group holiday makers.

The villa is located 3.5 km south from the coast between the villages of Pigi and Loutra. The location gives you the advantage of staying outside a quiet village and be close to the living areas and the beach at the same time!

Close to the villa you will find several beaches that you should visit. The closest one is part of the long sandy beach of Rethymno in Adelianos Kampos area (around 3.5 km away), the sandy beaches of Panormo (17 km), the long sandy beach of Episkopi (24 km) with various organised spots with sun beds, taverns and beach bars or secluded quiet spots.

The nearest shops and mini markets are within a walking distance in Pigi village, approximately 800 m away.

Additionally Platanias and Adelianos Kampos, which are only 4 - 5 km away, are well known tourist areas where you can find everything such as beach bars, clubs, restaurants, taverns, shops and supermarkets! Also, Rethymno city is 10 km away (about 10 min by car). If you would like to travel around Crete, we could give you advice for many places around the villa according to your interests. Some sightseeing that you have to visit are: The historical monastery of Arkadi (7 km away), The ancient Eleftherna and the village of Margarites (16 - 18 km away) and many others that we will suggest to you when you arrive in our villa.
