Luxurious 2 Bedroom Apartment Situated In La Alameda Apodaca

Two bedroom air-conditioned apartment on the 2nd floor of a fully refurbished elegant old building with lift access and free Wifi and telephone for locals calls. Fully equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave). All the rooms have beautiful fitted wooden floors and double glazing. One bedroom is double, the other is twin. The living room has a modern sofa and television. The bathroom has bath, shower and bidet.

About Ana Garcia

I am a Spanish woman who has been living in the UK for the last 20 years. I decided it was time to find a new home in Spain - somewhere to escape to for my holidays, and eventually to settle down in. After spending a lot of time thinking about where I most wanted to be, I decided that Cadiz was the perfect city. Somewhere I could happily live full time. Near the sea, and with fantastic food, music, dance (I'm a Flamenco dancer) and culture.

I fell in love with this apartment the first time I saw it, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it ! I think I was very lucky. It's in the best part of the city, and the renovated building and my apartment in particular is gorgeous.

What makes this apartment unique

The views over the Alameda and the sea, the peace and quiet in the evenings, despite being right in the heart of one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the south of Spain. And to see the very best Flamenco shows, I have to walk only two minutes to El Baluarte de Candaleria. A fantastic restaurant only a minute away:

Balandro (really one of the very best on Cadiz), and my favourite bar (El Veedor ... check out the tortillas) is just a short stagger away.

Top Rate Accommodation for a Top Rate Holiday!

The facilities here are first class and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The flat's position allows for quick and easy access to the buzz of this attractive and lively city, whilst providing a peaceful oasis just across the road through the Almedar gardens-a bourgonvillia balcony overlooking the Bay of Càdiz.

For a passionate filled evening of Flamenco - La Cava is close, not a typical tourist trap but including excellent young dancers as well as

an experienced Cantor.

The flat itself is a modern and clean development with an excellent lift to the second floor. The Flat is spacious and all facilities are new. If you need to eat in it's all here and the fridge is cold for that essential glass of Fino or Mantanilla sherry, but the many Plazas, Tapas Bars and Bodegas provide all you need for lunch or evening meals and just down the road Balandro

provides fine dining with interesting dishes.

Off road parking is an added extra. The lift down to the garage is an added extra to street parking, but may prove a challenge for an MPV.

All in all - enjoy the facilities, enjoy the delights of Càdiz and enjoy your holiday!

Perfect

We stayed at Ana's place in Cadiz for 3 nights as part of our tour of Andalucia. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Cadiz is a beautiful city and Ana's apartment is perfectly placed to explore on foot. Ana's lovely friend Alejandra met us when we arrived at the apartment and helped us to squeeze our hire car into the car lift to the secure underground parking Tip: if you're hiring a car choose a small one! The place is just as in the photos; very clean, simple, comfortable and quiet. Our favourite beach was Victoria Beach where there are lovely waves. The gardens opposite are wonderful for cooling down in the late afternoon and the cocktails at La Colonial just minutes away from the apartment were fantastic. Our favourite restaurant was Ultramar Y Nos which shouldn't be missed, it's also very close to the apartment and even had some amazingly tasty vegetarian dishes. Ana gave lots of recommendations of places to visit and was always available when we needed her. We would definitely recommend Ana's place to friends.

Outstanding!

What a find! The word exquisite does not quite do justice to this apartment. It is absolutely brilliant. First the location, in a quiet side street, but within 100 metres of the boulevard which borders the bay of Cadiz. For those with a car the access is a little tricky, but once our car was safely tucked away in the basement garage, we walked and used public transport. In Cadiz a car is more of a liability than an asset.

The apartment itself is in a building which has been totally refurbished to a very high standard. The interior of the apartment is bright and airy, and decorated very tastefully. It is furnished very simply but very well, and the beds are first class. Every item of equipment that you could possibly need was provided, and everything was in immaculate order.

Ana, the owner, gave us some great tips for things to do in Cadiz, including a visit to the Taverna La Cava, some 5 minutes away on foot, where we watched a really good flamenco show. Ana responded promptly and helpfully to our various queries.

On our arrival and on our departure we were looked after, in a most courteous and helpful manner, by Alexandra and Antonio, who take care of the apartment on a day to day basis. Thank you all.

This was a great experience, and one we would heartily commend to anyone planning to stay in Cadiz.

Spotless, modern, pleasantly decorated and well equipped in the right location in Cadiz

Property in excellent location for a visit to Cadiz. Walk everywhere in the old town. Park your car in the building's garage. The apartment is comfortable and neutrally decorated. Excellent taste and good quality furnishings and bedding. We travelled with a baby and our host provided a good quality cot for the baby. We reserved a garage space for convenience. Public paid parking is also available close by but nothing beats the convenience of parking in the building. Kitchen has the basic equipment and our host provided supplies for our stay and a welcome package that we appreciated very much. Bathroom was well stocked and the towels were good quality and sufficient for our stay. Reservation, keys delivery and check out were problem free. Thank you for letting us stay at your property with our baby. It made our stay in Cadiz memorable.

Comfortable apartment convenient for exploring the old town

We really enjoyed our week in this comfortable well modernised apartment. It was very well equipped, also quiet, as it is in a small side street. It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Cadiz old town and just across the road is a very attractive small park and the seafront. We thought Cadiz itself was a lovely place to visit, so many interesting places to see and Ana provided a list of suggestions for going out for coffee, breakfast or dinner which was very helpful and also introduced us to the various areas of the old town. Enjoyed churros and chocolate by the market; also the flower market had some nice coffee places to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere.

Plenty of wardrobe space, good shower and comfy bed, so everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Gracias Ana!
