Two bedroom air-conditioned apartment on the 2nd floor of a fully refurbished elegant old building with lift access and free Wifi and telephone for locals calls. Fully equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave). All the rooms have beautiful fitted wooden floors and double glazing. One bedroom is double, the other is twin. The living room has a modern sofa and television. The bathroom has bath, shower and bidet.
I am a Spanish woman who has been living in the UK for the last 20 years. I decided it was time to find a new home in Spain - somewhere to escape to for my holidays, and eventually to settle down in. After spending a lot of time thinking about where I most wanted to be, I decided that Cadiz was the perfect city. Somewhere I could happily live full time. Near the sea, and with fantastic food, music, dance (I'm a Flamenco dancer) and culture.

I fell in love with this apartment the first time I saw it, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it ! I think I was very lucky. It's in the best part of the city, and the renovated building and my apartment in particular is gorgeous.
The views over the Alameda and the sea, the peace and quiet in the evenings, despite being right in the heart of one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the south of Spain. And to see the very best Flamenco shows, I have to walk only two minutes to El Baluarte de Candaleria. A fantastic restaurant only a minute away:
Balandro (really one of the very best on Cadiz), and my favourite bar (El Veedor ... check out the tortillas) is just a short stagger away.
Perfect place to stay in Cadiz. Very comfortable and QUIET. In a great location with excellent restaurants and tapas places within three blocks.

Lovely, comfortable, well-equipped apartment in a great location in Cadiz. Ana was very helpful - providing lots of information about great places to eat and things to see in the city. The apartment was spacious, light and clean and walking to the beach and lovely bars and restaurants was easy. Great to have wifi and a lift! Highly recommended.
Entre nuestras experiencias con alquileres de vacaciones (y hemos estado alquilando en Argentina, Chile, y España durante los últimos doce años) el apartamento en Calderón de la Barca es uno de los mejores. Sería difícil superarlo por comodidad: muy luminoso, cocina completa y moderna, buena cama, buena wi-fi , aire acondicionado y calefacción muy buenos (en Octubre/Noviembre ocasionalmente recurrimos a ambos).
Es una renovación reciente, con ascensor, ventanas con doble vidrio (muy tranquilo) y es un buen compromiso de confort y las ventajas de estar en el Casco Antiguo. De hecho, la situación sería difícil superar—unos pocas manzanas de dos de las plazas más bonitas en Cádiz—Plaza de Mina y Plaza Mentidero—y literalmente un par de pasos de la hermosa Alameda de Apodaca—un paseo frondoso con vistas de la Bahía de Cádiz. Restaurantes y bares de tapas y bares de copas abundan y un supermercado está muy cerca. Hay un aparcamiento a la disposición de los arrendatarios, pero Cádiz es sumamente bueno para pasear, así que no hay necesidad de un coche. Además, cuatro de los pueblos más pintorescos de la región—Vejer y Arcos de la Frontera, Medina-Sidonia,, y Sanlúcar se encuentran a sólo una o dos horas en autobús. Y Jerez, menos de una hora en tren.
Fuimos asistidos por el maravillosamente atentos Antonio y Alejandra, que viven cerca y puede manejar limpieza, transporte, y cualquier otra cosa que podría presentarse.
Pero esto realmente lo dice todo: Este es el tercer año que hemos alquilado este apartamento - esta vez durante seis semanas - y vamos a hacerlo de nuevo el próximo año.
First, a huge thanks to Ana who was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times, and provided excellent recommendations for things to do and restaurants. These were really appreciated and helped us get the most from our stay in Cadiz. For us the apartment was in the perfect location, not in the middle of busy tourist areas, but close enough to walk to many places. Also, enjoyed using the local stores, bakers, restaurants, cafes and gardens in the immediate area. The apartment is modern, well maintained, and has everything you need during your stay. Additional things such a one set of beach towels, and some essential food items for when you arrive show how helpful Ana is. We found the free 2 hour walking tour from PanchoTours an excellent way to familiarise yourself with Cadiz, we did it on our first morning and learned so much about Cadiz and its history, the layout of the old town, and useful practical information. Don't be worried about 2 hours and walking, there are may places covered within the compact old town so its not physically demanding. We stayed 4 nights in Cadiz and on reflection with an extra night or two we could have done day trips and explored further outside of Cadiz. We highly recommend Ana's apartment for a really enjoyable visit to Cadiz.
We cannot recommend this apartment more highly. From the moment of arrival being met by Ana's caretaker Alahandra whose consideration and kindness immediately set the tone for our best Spanish holiday ever. The apartment is maintained to the highest standard. Ana's "to-do in Cadiz" list kept us entertained all holiday. The location in historic Cadiz is perfect for exploring the town and surrounding areas, and visiting the numerous local beaches.
Modern bright apartment, ideally located for most attractions in Cadiz. There are some excellent bars and restaurant nearby.
The neighbourhood is situated in one of the most beautiful and peaceful neighbourhoods of the old town of Cadiz. As you step outside of the apartment you find the tranquil shady gardens of Alameda Apodaca overlooking the sea. Within a stone's throw you can find some of the best tapas bars in town. And you are less than 15 minutes walk to the famous La Caleta beach.

Our minimum booking is 3 nights with a supplement charge of 60€ for stays shorter than a week.
To make a confirmed reservation we require 100% payment through the website, otherwise a minimum deposit of 30% with the balance paid 1 month before arrival by bank transfer. Alternatively you can pay 50% deposit with the balance paid in cash on the arrival day.
