The main floor of Makani Lani offers commanding views of Koko Crater and the deep blues of the Pacific in the airy living space, well-appointed kitchen, and dining area. The upstairs primary bedroom also features breathtaking views of Koko Crater, a king bed, and a spa-inspired en suite bathroom. Downstairs, the ground-floor primary bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom allows for convenient access to the pool (heating optional). There is even a sitting area on the ground floor, equipped with a small refrigerator and drink station, making it perfect for entertaining while lounging at the pool. The three remaining bedrooms, which share a bathroom, include two with queen beds and another with two twin beds.

Makani Lani is surrounded by lush palms, creating an intimate space to enjoy the pool, outdoor shower, and barbecue area. The covered lanai is the perfect spot to take in the Koko Crater view while lounging poolside. There is even a grassy lawn for the keiki (kids) to have some fun.

Just minutes away you’ll find the turquoise waters and shops of Koko Marina. Hawaii Kai’s premier shopping area includes restaurants, boutiques, Costco, a movie theater, and access to water sports. This Hawaii Kai vacation home is ideally located near championship golf courses, famous hiking trails, and world-renowned beaches like Sandy Beach, Hanauma Bay, and Portlock. Beautiful home

We loved being in this home. Beautiful, clean, amazing views. Plenty of small toys and such for kids. And everything you could need for a family trip, even down to a booster seat in the laundry room. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking, and plenty of dishes as well. There were even beach items in the garage, including sand toys. Loved the proximity to stores like Costco, which is 5 mins away. And the malasadamobile (you HAVE to try them). The pool was nice and big, and also has the same view as the higher floors. Be aware there is a noise curfew. We got complaints from the neighbor next door when our kids played outside in the pool on the first day. And after that we were quiet as mice outside. Which shouldn’t need to be the case when we’re paying as much as we did. On the last day, the neighbor even yelled out of her window to tell us to be quiet. We were playing cards with our group. That part was extremely frustrating, and made us hesitant about booking in a neighborhood with homes close together. I believe the neighbor just doesn’t like that the home next door is rented out. Use caution. She’s looking for problems.

Outstanding Rental Experience at an Amazing House!

Jenni our Property Experience Manager communicated with us every step of the way and made sure that the house was ready for our arrival. There was even a welcome basket, which my family devoured, and water in the fridge. So nice after our long trip. I can’t say enough about how nice and welcoming she was. The house is amazing. The views are outstanding. We had ten adults with plenty of room to spread out. We spent a lot of time by the pool under the covered porch. We felt right at home immediately. One of the bathrooms that are listed in the description is actually outside by the pool. There are steps to get to each floor of the house with a lot going to the bottom floor where the pool and second master are. Beautiful home and a wonderful experience!

Get away from the city

Great house for large family or group of friends. Very clean and thoughtfully furnished. Every room had air conditioning unit which needed on hot days. Pool is beautiful. Only reservation are the stairs. House is on a hillside so there are stairs up and down from the main level.

Beautiful and clean with great views

We have stayed in several VRBO homes throughout the country, and this one is our new favorite. It was so nice for Chelsey from the rental company to greet us, show us around the house and answer any questions we had about the property. The house was clean with a very well organized kitchen. It also had about everything we needed to enjoy time on the beach. We loved the pool and the bathroom outside was convenient. The location was great with restaurants, theater, and shopping nearby. The only complaint was that we wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Vacation Spot!!!!

Amazing home with really great views! The home was great for a large family and the home was so comfortable and well equipped. The pool area was our favorite, however, the kids may argue the play set was the best part. We hardly wanted to leave! Not knowing much about Oahu before, the location was great, so close to beautiful beaches, great places to eat and lots of outdoor activities. I highly recommend doing the near by Makapuu Hike for sunrise. I would also very highly recommend this home!!
