Direct access road over the bridge to lovely sandy beaches, Cabopino and Marisa. 2 kilometres from Cabopino yacht harbour, with many restaurants. Furnished to a high standard, fitted kitchen, including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave. Sat/TV and DVD. Dual air conditioning. Surrounded by golf courses, Cabopino Golf, Elviria, Santa Maria, La Cala north and south and many more. 12km. from Marbella town. Local restaurants within walking distance.
Notes: This complex is securely locked at all times, so only guests and residents will have the use of the facilities. Life guards on duty from 1st June - 1st Sept. Each Apt. has its own allocated underground parking space. Balcony south west facing. Bed linen and towels supplied. Please bring your own beach/pool towels.
La Reserva de Marbella, also known as Las Chapas, is set on the coast between Puerto Cabopino and Elviria. 10 minutes drive to Marbella town. A local market is within 10 minutes drive, every Wednesday and Saturday mornings at La Cala. A bus service is about five minutes walk, however a car is recommended for this area, both for shopping and generally getting around the whole coastline.
Golf: The Costa del Sol is a golfers paradise. This Apartment is ideally situated for golfers looking for comfort and convenience. It is adjacent to Cabopino Golf with its beautiful 18 hole course and magnificent sea views. Also situated opposite Don Carlos Hotel, you have Santa Maria Golf Course, and in the opposite direction you have several courses all within 15 minutes drive, such as La Cala North and South, also the beautiful new Santana course which opened in 2003, they have continued to maintain the natural beauty that has been preserved in this old avocado tree plantation.
The famous Ria Real Golf Course is also only 15 minutes drive towards Marbella Town.
Please note you can save possibly £100 per person by flying on Tuesday or Wednesday instead of Saturday on most Airlines during summer period.
I'm writing this review on the day we arrived back home so that I'll remember all the great things to tell you about our holiday. Miriam, the owner was very helpful and friendly from the onset and will tell you anything you need to know plus Theresa who looks after the apartment can be contacted at any time.
The apartment was lovely, clean and tidy and very spacious for me, my husband and our two girls of 12 and 9 years. It has a lovely large balcony, perfect for eating outside in the evening whilst the sun is going down. The pictures of the pool don't do it justice as it is large, very clean with plenty of space around it for sunbathing and our girls just loved it! There are also 2 further smaller pools nearby for your use. The apartment is well located although I would recommend hiring a car for visits to the local supermarkets, restuarants and other nearby places such as Benalmadena, Marbella and Fuengirola. Don't forget to also take out your car hire excess back in the UK which costs about £25 but will pay out in the event of any damage to the vehicle (well worth doing). The local beaches are fabulous and a couple of good restuarants are Da Bruno (italien), the local Chinese plus in nearby Elviria there is a very good tapas bar.
The Zoo in Fuengirola is a must, likewise Tivoli World and if you or your children are daredevils then you must have a go on the Amazonian Adventure at Elviria which is a tree-top challenge!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the weather has been superb. Highly recommended!!!!
The apartment is comfortable, spacious and in excellent condition.
Balcony catches the afternoon sun - perfect for post-beach/pre-dinner relaxation. Apartment was a home from home with all the appliances you'll need. Pay as you go internet available, which we found very useful for checking out local entertainment, restaurants, etc. Also very useful for keeping in contact back home. Complex pool and amenities are very good.
Public transport (buses) every half hour from the main road at the bottom of the hill. Cheap and easy way to get to Marbella (city centre), Fuengirola, Torremolinos, etc. A car is handy for shopping and taking you gear to the beach. Cabopino beach has a sizeable car park behind the dunes and trees.
Amazon Adventure (zip wire, climbing wall, etc) is a few minutes down the road, and Aqualand waterpark is in Torremolinos are just a couple of the local attractions.
Restaurants and supermarket at the bottom of the hill (short walk).
Lidl, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc a short drive away.
Good restaurants in Puerto Cabopino and Marbesa which are an €8 taxi fare away.
Great weather, beautiful beaches and restaurants nearby, what more could you ask for!
We've now had 2 holidays consecutive years at this apartment. Miriam (the owner) was very helpful and accommodating before each visit.
At only 30 minutes from Malaga airport, the apartment is in an excellent location but away from the busier resort of Fuengirola.
The apartment is spotlessly clean, well proportioned and in a lovely quiet complex. The pools are fantastic and never too busy. There's a small 24hr supermarket (Supercor) 5 mins drive away for any essentials. During the day, Lidl and Supersol are 15mins drive from the apartment.
There are restaurants just a short walk away but a car is useful to see more of the surrounding area and nearby Marbella. Miriam has an on-site contact, Theresa, who is also very helpful and recommended the food and flamenco evenings at The Village Inn restaurant (15 mins walk away). Definitely worth a visit!
It's worth noting that it is requested that air conditioning is turned off at night (from 11pm) for noise reasons but the apartment has 2 effective fans which Miriam provided upon our suggestion. This really helped with the very humid evenings we had during our visit in July this year.
We (family of four) have loved holidaying at Miriam's apartment both years and hope to return again in the near future. Our children seem to think of it as their own holiday apartment!

There is a lovely little port nearby (Puerto Capopino) to have a wander round late afternoon and enjoy a drink or two!
The owner of the apartment was very helpful before our arrival advising on facilities and local places to venture. The apartment was very clean and well maintained - we felt it was home away from home! very relaxing

When we arrived at the apartment, it felt like being at home in a foreign country. It took only 30 minutes from the airport and the complex had a nice friendly atmosphere, with a choice of pools. Everything was clean and in a super condition.
Most of all we loved the choice of restaurants in Puerto Cabopino. We were lucky with the weather and spend a few days on the beach. There was great shopping in Marbella, we took the bus down which was less than 15mins and very easy to get to.
Had a great holiday and hope to be back next year!
El apartamento esta muy bien ubicado, cerca de las playa y restaurantes. Los duenos nos recomendaron manejar a la playa por los chicos, que fue una excellente ayuda. Nos quedamos un tiempo mas largo que pensabamos por la picina y el apartamento que estaba muy acojedor... Gracias por todo!

'La Reserva de Marbella'( Phase 1 ) completed in August 2001, is a lovely complex, set in landscaped gardens. Walking distance to a few local bars and restaurants namely, El Rancho/ Meson Del Pueblo situated in Carib Playa, and a 3 minute drive to Puerto Cabopino Yacht Harbour, and 20 minutes to Puerto Banus. This apt. is situated just off the main N340, exit at Las Chapas. 12km. from the centre of Marbella Town. Drive time from Malaga Airport 30 minutes. We are situated between Cabopino and Elviria. Minutes drive to wonderful sandy beaches. Two hours drive to Granada and Sierra Nevada mountains. We are surrounded by well known Golf Courses. A 24/7 ' SuperCor Supermarket' has opened in the area, only minutes from the complex, you can relax and do all your shopping without going on to the main N340 highway. We are NOT situated at the top of the hill, but are on the lower level.
