Good location, nice apartment
Nice apartment with good view over front garden. Pauline was friendly and kindly left complimentary milk, tea etc. Was surprised there was a coin operated electric meter in the flat. There was sufficient credit for our stay plus an additional couple of pound coins were supplied although it was a concern it might run out whilst having a shower towards the end of our stay. Additional crockery and cutlery would be useful.

I run the business on my own and enjoy meeting and getting to know all our guests.
My passion is gardening not only do I keep the gardens at Barford looking colourful I run a volunteer garden group on Lord Street. Our group look after the flower beds and urns. I am a great believer of giving something back to the community.
Last year we became a Grandparents for the first time, we have two beautiful Grandsons.

Barford House has alot of return guests, that to me speaks volumes.
I will do whatever I can to help my guests, whether that is picking up or dropping off at the train station on arrival or departure day. Booking a taxi pickup for guests flying in from abroad. Doing a bit of breakfast shopping for guests who arrive from abroad on an overnight flight. Making sure an elderly guest has all the equipment they need if they are not good on their feet.

Barford House Apt's are a real home from home. We are situated in a residential area close to the beach and the Marine Lake. You can stay with us whether your on a business trip or holiday, on your own or with friends. Southport has something for every age group and proudly boasts a massive number of independent restaurants, tearooms, bars, pubs and places to eat. You really are spoilt for choice.

Barford House is an elegant detached Victorian property. Offering 5 self contained apartments with all it's original features. The house is well looked after and all the apts are decorated every year.
