Located within the 5* Miraflores resort and set just 1.5 miles from the coast and its wonderful beaches, this peaceful and luxurious garden apartment enjoys direct access to beautifully landscaped gardens and an attractive shared swimming pool. It has a large open private sun terrace which has the added benefit of sliding glass windows which can be closed to retain privacy as required.

This spacious apartment is furnished and maintained to a high standard and is perfectly positioned for couples or families to enjoy the delights of the Miraflores resort, the adjacent Miraflores golf course and the wider Costa Del Sol area.

It has an open plan living/dining area with flat-screen TV and DVD player. In the kitchen, there is a large American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, full oven and hob.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom and enjoys direct access to the sun-terrace through the large sliding patio doors. The second bedroom has two full-size single beds, a built-in mirrored wardrobe and an adjacent shower room – which also houses the washing machine in a laundry cupboard.

The apartment is within a gated community and has a full alarm system which is directly linked to the resort's own security staff. There is ample car parking space available.

As well as all of the usual facilities expected of a 5* apartment, it stands adjacent to the Miraflores Golf Club, one of the many competition-class golf courses that the Costa Del Sol is famous for.

If sun, sea, sand and golf is not enough, then Marbella, Puerto Banus and the pretty mountain village of Mijas (and others) can easily be visited. For children, Fuengirola Water Park, Tivoli World, Benalmadena Aquarium, Selwo Safari Park and plenty more activities are nearby!

The apartment is set in a secure and gated community including keyed and video entry system. For added security there is also an alarm and safe installed in the apartment. There is a large covered terrace with sliding glass curtains, 2 sun loungers, table and 4 chairs. The glass curtains can be pulled back to give you completely open views of the gardens. An electric awning can be used to provide added shade from the sun. Beach towels are provided. Mid-week cleaning can be arranged at extra cost if required. Please note that this is strictly a no-smoking and no pets apartment

A really beautiful apartment. Comfortable, provided with everything you will need and so peaceful and relaxing (term-time of course). The options for sun bathing or just sitting in the shade which the outside space provides are brilliant and the pool is literally a few steps away.

The golf club is only 5 mins. stroll and caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner to a high standard and very friendly, you will be most welcome does not matter whether you play or not.

A car is an absolute must however for getting about and the shopping (no local shops)

There were some minor maintenance issues which Carolyn will rectify but did not detract from our enjoyment.

Superb is the right description.

Luxury apartment in a peaceful garden setting

From the minute we stepped through the door of this garden apartment we knew we had made a great choice for a perfect week of relaxation. The apartment is well situated within a small, very well maintained complex offering beautiful peaceful garden grounds and a lovely pool. Spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped, Carolyn the owner, has thought of everything to make the apartment feel very much like "home from home". The information pack which was emailed ahead of our arrival was extremely helpful, and Carolyn also helped us with recommendations for taxis and restaurants. We did not hire a car on this occasion - but probably would in the future - and so we did make use of local taxi service while there. We also booked airport transfers through Malaga Transfers - fixed fee of 50 euros each way for 4 adults and luggage - and they proved to be extremely efficient. We would definitely rent this apartment again (and stay for much longer than a week) and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family.

Fantastic Apartment!!!!

Love this apartment. This was our 7th visit to the area & one of the best we've stayed in. Beautiful garden & pool area on your doorstep. The area is a bit hilly but if you are reasonably fit it is still possible to get around on foot, local bus or taxi if you don't want to drive or travel further afield.

Golf club next door is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner & they have entertainment 2 nights a week. Other local restaurants & supermarkets are also nearby. Golf driving range is just round the corner with a bar & restaurant.

The boardwalk by the beach is great for a walk to La Cala.

I highly recommend Carolyn's apartment & hope to stay here again in the future!!

Don't miss this gem

Absolutely delighted with this rental. The efficiency and helpfulness of the owner,Carolyn,gave us so much confidence that we could look forward to a lovely week in the sun. An extremely comprehensive information pack was emailed to us prior to departure and this was supplemented by hard copy in the apartment.The apartment was spotlessly clean and contained everything you might need ,and more, to enjoy a great self-catering experience.The furnishings both inside and out were very comfortable.We have visited this area numerous times and usually spend much of our time travelling to White Villages, Andalucian Cities etc. but on this holiday we barely ventured away from the property. The terrace,with its marvellous garden views, was so peaceful and relaxing that we found it difficult to leave. The pool which is only yards from the terrace was maintained daily during our stay and there were also groundstaff regularly on duty ensuring that the entire development was kept in pristine order. Miraflores Golf Club is only a minute or two's walk away from the apartment. Although we are non-golfers we were able to enjoy a nice meal in its restaurant with entertainment thrown in. For more dining and entertainment options a taxi to El Zoco or Dona Lola costs about 8 euro. There's something for most palates there. A little further on is a particular favourite of ours, Cabopino Marina. It's a pleasant little spot with a reasonable selection of restaurants.For those who would like to explore Southern Spain I would recommend a drive up to Cordoba Cathedral(Mezquita)which has a terrific history. I would most definitely recommend this property to all kinds of travellers but would point out that a car would be required for less mobile people to get to the beach and recently built seafront walkway area.

I'd like to use this review to thank Carolyn for the use of her wonderful apartment and how she dealt with our booking. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to arrange a return visit over the course of the next few months. Patrick.

Three glorious weeks in Miraflores.

Having stayed in many apartments in Miraflores over the past twenty years this was one of the best. The apartment is beautifully situated with a lovely peaceful garden. It is very comfortable with very well equipped kitchen . Also TV with all the English speaking channels & WiFi in a very comfortable lounge. We were sorry to leave after a fabulous three weeks! Beautiful and very well kept holiday residence

The appartment is located up on the hills in a new building with lovely views, fresh air and total quiet to enjoy. Ideal place for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday away from any urban hectic and road traffic. The appartment and especially the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. Two nice bathrooms and a safe and relaxing atmosphere. The garden is a relief for the stressed and busy. Lovely towns, supermarkets and restaurants are easy to reach. Really a top recommendation.

The apartment is just a 30 minute drive from Malaga airport, situated between Marbella and Fuengirola. It is set just 1.5 miles up from the coast and is conveniently located for many of the region’s beaches, ports and towns.

The attractive harbours of Cabopino and Puerto Banus are nearby as are a number of pretty mountain villages such as Mijas, Benahavis, Istan and Ojen.

For those looking for longer excursions, Gibraltar, Ronda, Granada and Nerja can each be visited within a day – providing a variety of tourist experiences - the Alhambra Palace in Granada being just one of many breathtaking historic places to visit.

There are many wonderful restaurants within the locality serving a variety of great cuisines – from local seafood (some in prime positions overlooking the sea), to Spanish Tapas, or Italian, or Chinese, or Hungarian or just plain English. They range from casual to more formal dining for the special occasion and some offer entertainment while you dine – for instance the Miraflores Golf Club, a short walk from the apartment, which has a reputation for great entertainment and excellent food.

The area is well served with excellent supermarkets, added to which there are a number of weekly local markets, selling a wide range of produce and crafts etc.

There are also many speciality shops in places such as Marbella old town and Mijas Pueblo where you will find beautiful leather, ceramic and lace products among many others.

There are 2 large shopping malls nearby: the “Miramar” at Fuengirola and “La Canada” near Marbella – both of which provide a wide range of shops within a pleasant indoor shopping environment..

We feel this apartment is the perfect year-round location to enjoy all that Mijas Costa has to offer, and is equally suited to those who want to relax and unwind and to those who are looking for a more active holiday.

The rental rates on this site are based on a minimum 7-day rental period which applies particularly during the High Season. However, rental of less than 7 days may be considered on request, so please contact the owner directly if you would like to visit the apartment in the Low of Mid Season for a period of less than 7 days.

For all rentals, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance, plus a £100 returnable security deposit, is payable 40 days before check-in date.

If booking is made less than 6 weeks before check-in date, the total rental plus the £100 security deposit is required at time of booking.
