3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom ,HUGE, With Golf Course's Views, Close To The Beach

Palmeras del Golf is a luxurious , private and quiet urbanisation, located next to Torrequebrada Golf, one of the most exclusively golf courses in Spain. Even though Torrequebrada is one of the best residential areas along Costa del Sol, it is close to all amenities. Three supermarkets (one of them British), a chemist, an international hospital, hair dresser are just 5 minutes away by car.

The complex is well guarded. It has 2 shared pools and a third one for kids. The apartment is surrounded by spectacular greens, and a beautiful variety of trees and colourful plants..

It´s an unusually spacious, modern and stylishly furnished three bedrooms apartment. The huge master bedroom (35 m2) has a queen size bed and a dressing room & bathroom with jacuzzi in suite. The second room has a double bed and the third one has twin beds (an extra bed is available upon request) There is another jacuzzi in the second bathroom with a massage shower. The spectacular L-shaped living room with relaxing sofas next to the fireplace and a dining room for 10 people are ideal for great gatherings. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped: fridge, freezer, hob, oven,extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. It has plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils, glasses and cleaning equipment. Washing-drying machine, iron and ironing board are also available.

All rooms (including the kitchen) have access to the hugest terrace (149 m2) of the whole complex next to the golf course. There are two sets of wooden tables and chairs (for 12 people all together). You can relax on the deck chairs while reading a book with the fantastic view of the golf course´s pond at T9 and Green 8. Two extra rooms are built on the terrace, ideal for tea time in winter or as a separately playing room for the children!

This exceptionally large property (166m2) has plenty of wardrobes , marble floors and a fresh breeze blows from the golf course, so there is no need to turn on the air conditioner. Despite this, all bedrooms have fans. Bedside tables with lamps, as well as comfortable bedside sofas are also included in all bedrooms. 2 TV sets (one in the master bedroom with DVD). Books, area maps, children´s toys are also provided.

Two underground parkings for big cars near to the elevator.

The apartment is located in a very quiet area close to all amenities. It is 10 minutes walk to Torrequebrada´s International Casino, 300m from the beach, 10 minutes by car to Puerto Marina, the VIP Sporting Port with its unique Moroccan buildings, restaurants, discos and shops where the Benalmadena Promenade starts. Along the promenade you will find bars, shops, night clubs, and of course, “chiringuitos” (restaurants on the beach). Bus stops are 100m away and the train station is 1 km away.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is located at the corner of the complex, far from the noise of the swimming pools (even though it is just 50mts away from this area) and from the noise of the street . You wont be able to sleep due to its quietness !!!

It is the only building of the complex that has its own ramp access from the street, plus the parking´s fantastic location close to the main gate. This allows guests to have a quick access to the property from the outside street , no matter you take taxi, you rent a car or you just come by walking.

Only property that has 2 huge covered parking places right by the elevator.

Disappointing

The booking process was straightforward and Gisela's husband met us at the apt and showed us around. They had left some groceries for us which was great. That's really the only good point about this apartment. The apartment is in need of some upgrading and I was very disappointed in it. There were holes in the walls, cables in corners of rooms, black mould on the bathroom tiles. The patio area has a mishmash of furniture, all very old. 2 comfortable seats in an apartment that caters for more than 6 people! We had to wash the sun loungers down when we arrived as they were very dirty. If you like having to sweep the patio every morning then this apt is for you. The whole apartment felt dirty and in need of a deep clean.

The beds are the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in, very hard and the bedding and pillows were of poor quality. There are 2 very small pools which are wholly inadequate for this large complex. There are no sun loungers at any of the pools so you have to lie on the grass if you can get a space. We never managed that in the 2 weeks we were there. It would've been a good idea if Gisela has some chairs in the apartment that you could take to the pool or the beach.

Having to count every knife, fork, spoon, glass, plate etc isn't a great start neither is being told that you will be charged if you use too much electricity! We rarely put the air conditioning on for that reason and also because it made the apt smell of rotten eggs! When Gisela came on our departure day she never even checked any of this - what is the point of that?

We were looking for a relaxing holiday, a home from home, but ended up desperate to leave.

We hired a car for our stay and would recommend that. A taxi to the marina costs about 11 euros and the nearest supermarket is about 10 mins walk away.

This apt may appeal to some people and I am sorry that I am leaving such a bad review as I know that this is someone's business but if I had known what I know now I would never have booked this apt.

This apartment has potential to be lovely but there is time and effort needed on it. The photos are very misleading and appear to have been taken some years ago. Also worth mentioning is the amount of insect/mosquito bites that we had when sitting on the patio. I have travelled to many places and this has never been a problem, make sure you have repellent.

Superb Property & Location

Booking process was stress free thanks to excellent communications with Gisela the owner. She met us on arrival and showed us around the beautiful property and even provided a very welcoming beer and a few groceries meaning we didn't have to rush out immediately. There are a couple of supermarkets just a few minutes away and the local taxis are excellent and very reasonable. We were looking for rest and relaxation and were not disappointed, a huge balcony provided plenty of areas of sun and shade. Whilst there are two pools on the complex we only used the nearest one to the apartment as it was extremely well looked after and was really quiet whenever we used it. All in all the property is a fantastic base a real home from home. Thank you Gisela we had a fantastic holiday and will be looking to return asap. Kev, Sue & Elaine.

Warm and comfortable stay

Two couple with two child stayed very comfortably. Good location for accessing beach and anywhere else for holiday in Malaga. I already recommended to my friend who love to play golf.

Bel appartement avec une immense terrasse

Nous avons passé un très beau mois dans ce grand appartement. Avons également beaucoup apprécié le garage intérieur, la terrasse ainsi que la sécurité et la tranquillité des lieux. Nous devons aussi souligner le chaleureux accueil de Gisela qui a gardé le sourire malgré notre retard à l'arrivée. Il y avait un généreux kit de départ dans le frigo et le garde-manger. Nous aurions pu nous dépanner pour la première journée, mais Gisela nous a gentiment accompagnés au supermarché. Durant notre séjour elle s'est également assurée que nous n'avions besoin de rien et que tout était à notre satisfaction. Nous ne pouvons qu'espérer y retourner l'hiver prochain.

Very nice apartment!

The apartment is very nice and well equipped. Rooms are spacious and two bathrooms are essential, when you travel with teenagers. Location is quite far from city centre, so we would recommend renting a car. Gisela was friendly and helpful host!

Palmeras del Golf is a luxurious, private and quiet urbanisation, located next to Torrequebrada Golf, one of the most exclusively golf courses in Spain. Even though Torrequebrada is one of the best residential areas along Costa del Sol, it is close to all amenities. Three supermarkets (one of them British), a chemist, an international hospital, hair dresser are just 5 minutes away by car.

Attractions: Aqualand Water Park, Crocodile Park, Sea Life (Puerto Marina), Selwo Marina, Tivoli World, golf courses Mariposarium and plenty of sea activities.

Places of interest & tours: There is a wide range of tours you can enjoy. Most of them depart from a hotel 200m from the apartment to La Alhambra (Granada), Gibraltar, Ronda and more. You could also spend a nice day hiring a car and making a fantastic trip to Marbella (30kms), Seville (200kms) or Cordoba (150kms), etc.

There are also companies operating regular boat trips from Puerto Marina to Málaga and Fuengirola. “Watching the dolphins”, as well as private excursions also sail almost everyday from this port.
