Tregoona is a 4-bedroom bungalow set in a secluded location. The front door leads straight into the dining-room area which can seat 8 people comfortably. Next door you will find the spacious lounge, with feature stone fireplace, equipped with a widescreen TV and DVD/Video player and a CD system. Sliding doors open on to a large patio area with garden furniture and a barbecue.

The bungalow has a large well-equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine, cooker, fridge, microwave and dish-washer. There is a Breakfast seating area for more informal meals as well as additional seating outside the kitchen door with scenic views overlooking Cubert.

Double bedroom and twin bedded room with adjacent shower room/WC, and second double bedroom and twin bedded room with adjacent bathroom/WC, are located in separate wings making it ideal for two families

Perfect getaway.

Standing very much on it's own with beautiful countryside views this was the ideal away-from-it-all for our family of 5 adults +1 child. Whilst we didn't visit the beach which I know from past experience is great for the young ones it would be close enough to walk to from this property so you can forget the car once you've done a shop at the close-by Morrison's. We ate at the local pub (Cornishman) which was good food at a reasonable price. All-in-all I would recommend this property.

We had a lovely week in Crantock. The house was roomy and the garden was even better; perfect for (large) families. The owner was helpful and replied quickly to all queries. Nice place!

Peacefully set on the edge of Crantock village, this spacious property stands in half an acre of gardens with a large patio area ideal for bbq’s. It is just a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village and its two pubs, shop and restaurant.

The bungalow is located just ½ mile from Crantock Beach, a wide expanse of golden sand stretching between the East and West Pentire headlands. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards throughout the summer and is ideal for surfing and swimming, with plenty of rock pools and caves to explore. Hire of surf boards and lessons are also available. A short distance around the headland is a delightful little cove known as Polly Joke; a totally unspoilt beach with only cliffs, ocean and sand to enjoy.

Local area

Newquay (4 miles) is a popular resort with some of Britain’s finest surfing beaches. Each year Fistral beach holds the Ripcurl Boardmasters competition, drawing thousands of spectators and the best surfers from around the world.

Newquay also offers a wide range of attractions including Holywell Fun Park, Newquay Zoo, The Blue Reef Aquarium and Dairyland Farm World. The coastal footpath is easily accessible from the property and a 2½ mile walk leads to Holywell and continues beyond to Perranporth. Walk in the other direction and you come to Fistral and the many other Newquay beaches.

There are several excellent golf courses nearby, including Treloy, Truro and Newquay, as well as Holywell pitch and putt for the less experienced golfer and children.

Excellent course fishing is available at Whiteacres and Trevella park, and sea fishing boats leave from Newquay harbour daily.

Horse riding trips begin in Crantock, and a scenic ride takes you along the gannel estuary.

The lovely cathedral city of Truro offers some excellent shopping as well as a cinema, several tea & coffee rooms and a range of nice restaurants.

The quaint boating harbour of St.Ives is home to many art galleries and exhibitions including the renowned Tate gallery.

Wadebridge offers cycle hire to explore the Camel Trail, an 18 mile route which follows the Camel Estuary from Padstow to Wadebridge before continuing through the beautifully wooded Camel Valley to Bodmin.

Scenic excursions can be enjoyed on the Lappa Valley Railway and Bodmin and Wenford steam railways. Trerice (NT) is a short drive and Lanhydrock House, the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all less than 25 miles away.
