About Jacqueline Rhyner
I grew up in ILL. Married in 1960, spent 2 yrs as an Army wife in Maryland. Moved to northern Wisc. in 1962. Raised 4 children and bought this property in 1970. Spent the weekends and holidays for the next 32 yrs here at the lake. We built the main section and after my husband passed, I made this into a year round home. It has been a work in progress ever since. Added the two bedrooms, baths, and laundry room in 1998. Then added the 2 car garage. It is still a work in progress.
Jacqueline Rhyner purchased this House in 1970
Why Jacqueline Rhyner chose Phillips
Looking for a place on the lake, and this property came up at a reasonable price. We have loved being on the lake and have spent many wonderful years here and have many wonderful memories.
What makes this House unique
I don't know what the unique benefits of this property over others, all I know is that we have loved being here. I love to sit on the deck in the morn with my coffee and a good book. The fishing is good, boating, canoeing and lately there are a lot of kayaks. Love to watch the water flow, and the sunsets are breathtaking. In the winter, the snowmobile trail passes in front of the cottage and we have plenty of room for snowmobile trailers

Nice cozy stay in Phillips, WI
As always a very nice and relaxing stay. House was nice and clean and the owner very friendly and welcoming as always. We are regular customers.
A place I would love to haveFor my own.
Very nice, clean and cozy. End of a quiet lane. No traffic oh except for the deer. We were greeted by the local deer residents eveytime we went in or out of the drive along with turkeys, bunnies, squirrels and 2 loons out in front of the house. Dock is a few steps from the house so you can easily grab your pole and go fish. Deck on the back of the house is low to the ground. We have a 20 ft. bass boat with full size pickup and had no problem turning around with plenty of space to park. Might want to have a board with you when you unhook from the truck. Our boat jack sank down into the sand half way up the tire. Put a board under it no problem. Better boat landing for our boat was around the bin a couple 2 or 3 miles. No biggy. A couple of landings that were a little closer by were not bad but we wouldnt use for our boat. Check them out its your preference for your size and type of boat. We will be back for sure.
Lovely place to stay
The house had everything in it we could have possibly needed plus more. We loved the fire pit and the lake views from the paddle boat and the canoe. What a perfectly peaceful and comfortable place to spend a weekend!

Very nice relaxing home on Wilson lake. We loved the peaceful atmosphere of this property we enjoyed taking the paddle boat out and the fishing boat. The fishing was slow but that’s normal for this time of year. Jackie is wonderful and welcoming we would love to stay here again! Many thanks Jackie!!
Up north Phillips, Wi
Was everything as advertised and then some. The ease of the reservation process and excellent communication made our 1st Vrbo experience pleasant. Will definitely be coming back.
The main activity would be water sports: fishing, kayaking, tubing, water skiing, canoeing, Golf course is about 7 miles by car, can take boat as they have a dock and a restaurant. Closest bar and grill is in walking distance about a mile. In town There are 2 sport shops with fishing supplies, kayak rentals, restaurants, etc.
