What makes this villa unique

The architectural design of each unit enhances the Atlantic Trade Winds to cool the unit with a pleasant breeze all year round! Although each unit is equiped with central air condinitioning, the owners can only recommend falling asleep to the tinkling sounds of the Caribbean night!

Beautiful Condo with the perfect location.

Overall the condo was fantastic for its location to everything a vacationer needs and for the pool just steps from the patio. We had a few problems with appliances that we managed to get around. The condo owners provide housekeeping 6 days a week and a grounds guy and security. We weren't expecting that. There is no dryer if you intend to wash clothes. A close line out side is available. Ice maker didn't work. Blender didn't work. DVD remote doesn't work. No music player for I-pod. Wi-fi only works outside on the patio and pool/yard area.

Owner's Response: Hi Julie, Thank you for pointing out the items lacking in the apartment! Sadly equipment has a very short life-span in the Caribbean due to high humidity and salt content in the air. Throughout the low season in the autumn we have worked on maintenance and replaced faulty equipment. The ice-maker has been causing issues over a long period of time and the procurement of parts has been very difficult. We have tried a variety of specialized electricians on island and no-one has managed to get the ice-maker to work for a consistent period of time. The outcome is that we see no other option other than to replace the fridge. We encourage our clients to provide us with constructive feedback so that we can continue to provide a good service!

Perfect !!

The Reserve Condominium in St. Lucia was a perfect place for us to stay for the 14 days of my son's cricket tour. It was conveniently located right in the centre of Rodney Bay, close to the shops and the beach and around the corner from where my son was staying. The condo itself was beautiful with a gorgeous view onto the marina and swimming pool. The bedrooms and living area were clean and comfortable with a gorgeous sea breeze blowing through the house. The staff, Mark and Irene were very friendly and worked really hard to make our holiday special. Irene's cooking was also excellent. Zan the manager of the condo was also very professional and friendly, making sure we were safely transported to and from the airport with Serenity Airport Transfer company. She recommended some lovely things for us to do as well, which made the trip.

It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel, if you are after self-catering.

Top Quality Accommodation

The property is absolutely as described in the advertising and I would highly recommend it. Everything went very smoothly from the booking process through to the transfers (Serenity Tours) and our final day was made much easier as we were allowed to remain in the property until our pick up.

We have rented many villas and apartments in various countries and found Frangipani to be the best in terms of position to local amenities, shops , restaurants, beach plus an exceptionally well equipped kitchen including juicer and several coffee machines.

There are several original artworks in the rooms and furnishings are high end.

Add in the splendid service we received from Irene who not only kept the property spotless but also did our clothes washing and any dishes we occasionally left out, plus Mark the groundsman who kept us supplied with coconut water (from trees in the garden), our expectations were exceeded.

Occasionally things do stop working as did the fan and the wall lights in the master bedroom, this was near the end of our holiday and I only reported it to ensure they were fixed before the next tenants arrived, however Zaneia insisted they were fixed immediately which they were.

The property is in a very quiet location albeit it being opposite the Antillia micro brewery, a bonus for us and highly recommended if you like excellent beer, food also good.

Most days were spent sitting in the garden watching the boats go by, swimming pool excellent size and warm. We also did some fishing off the boat dock and managed to catch a few using spinners. Put them back as not too sure about water quality in the marina.

If we went to the beach it was usually late afternoon when it was much quieter.

We also used the services of Rule The Tide water taxi and were picked up at the property's boat dock for a day trip and a trip to Pigeon Island.

I can't leave the owners contact details on this review but he seems pretty well known locally and operates off Reduit Beach.

There are a number of really good restaurants within easy walking distance (minutes) the furthest away we used was Spinnakers (15 minutes) where we ate twice, meals there were excellent as is the position on the beach. Recommend their coconut coated prawns and rib eye steak.

All in all we had a perfect holiday and although we generally do not make return visits we are very tempted to make one to Frangipani at The Reserve.

Great Condo

We recently returned from our vacation in St Lucia at Villa Frangipani. The condo and grounds were lovely and very quiet and relaxing. Everything was in walking distance including Reduit Beach which was about a 10 minute easy walk from the condo. We did not really need to rent a car with how close all the stores and restaurants are to the condo. Irene, our housekeeper was very kind and helpful along with Nan and Zina. Hope to come back to St Lucia at some point and we will definitely consider staying at the Preserves again.

Tropical perfection

We wanted a special place to celebrate a special birthday in February 2015, and we couldn't have chosen better. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by our friendly and knowledgeable driver, Hans from Serenity Tours, the whole experience was one big treat.

We loved the location of Villa Frangipani in particular and the Reserve in general, with its secluded feel yet proximity to many restaurants, shops and services; the view from the terrace and balcony across the pretty garden to the bay; the warm (for us Brits!) swimming pool; the Trade Winds whooshing through the house during daylight hours; the kitchen facilities; the decor and furniture; and all those big, fluffy towels! A perfect place to relax in sheer luxury.

But perhaps most of all we loved the people - ever-cheerful and resourceful Zan, the property and hospitality manager at Premier Properties; capable and friendly Irene, our housekeeper; helpful and responsive Marc, the groundskeeper; tireless and good-humoured John, the night security guard. They helped make our special trip a truly unforgettable experience.

We couldn't recommend the Reserve more highly.

The perfect base

I spent 10 days in April 2014 in St Lucia with my wife and daughter (first visit). This villa is in Rodney Bay and near 2 excellent supermarkets and shopping malls. There are loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. And there's also nearby take away options. The bus stop for Gros Islet, Rodney Bay marina and Castries a 5 minute walk away. The villa is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Reduit beach.

The villa itself is lovely. The ground floor mainly comprises a kitchen that opens out to an open plan dining area with table and chairs, and spacious lounge with 2 large white leather sofas and a huge flat screen TV with separate DVD player. The kitchen has all the crockery, utensils, glasses etc. that you should need and there is a large American style fridge/freezer. There is a cooker and hob but no microwave. There's a breakfast bar along one side of the kitchen. At the end of the apartment on the ground floor are some French doors leading to an outside dining/patio area with views of the swimming pool, garden area (which includes sun loungers and umbrellas), private mooring area for boats and Rodney Bay beyond. The view is beautiful and it is incredibly quiet and tranquil.

The decoration is contemporary the whole apartment is very attractive looking. There is no air conditioning on the ground floor so it can get hot but during the day but open the back door and French doors and there is a lovely breeze that blows through. On the upper floor there are 2 large air conditioned bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Each had French doors leading to balconies. The master bedroom balcony sports a table and 2 chairs with a fantastic view of the pool, gardens and bay. The other balcony is effectively road side and the view is unattractive.

The service was excellent. The owners were responsive to emails when arranging the holiday and emailed us when we were there as well. Upon arrival we met with Zan who manages the property and Irene who is the housekeeper. Zan helped with a trip for us and to organise a hire car for 4 days. Irene attended most days and kept the apartment really well. She was also very friendly with our daughter and was a useful source of local information. The swimming pool and garden areas were also kept immaculately.

This villa proved to be a great choice and we found it to be the perfect base for exploring St Lucia. It feels genuinely luxurious and is recommended.
