Would return nice tucked away palce with one warning
My wife and I with our dog pack really enjoyed our stay here. Ellijay is an accessible drive if you need to collect any forgotten provisions. It is quiet and feels way off the beaten path. I brought some construction fence, the plastic kind, and made a containment zone for our pack so we could enjoy the large porch all day and night.
The warning goes to those PTSD people or anyone who would find gunshots triggering. The neighbor of this property is close and discharges a high powered rifle and it is loud. No problems with anything else just be aware that this is a remote property and gunfire should be expected. It was quite jarring but we managed to stay composed and enjoy our time tucked away in the woods.
Nice Get Away
Really enjoyed our stay. The bed in the master is very comfortable as is all the furniture in the living room. Enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit after we found some firewood for sale at a local gas station. FYI there is no hammock as in the pictures. We saw lots of wildlife in our travels to and from the cabin especially by the stream just down the road. You will be a good 15-20 minutes from Downtown Ellijay and 40-45 minutes from Blue Ridge. We have stayed in luxury cabins and this one is a bit more on the rustic side but still very nice with all the comforts of home. My only suggestion to make it a bit more welcoming would be cleaning up the porch of all the cobwebs and the bird mess all over the threshold of the doorway outside the master bedroom, while we expect these things being in the woods it seemed as it had been neglected for some time. All in all a reallly nice get away.
It is located at the end of the road making it very private but not that far from town.
We loved the feel of this cozy cottage. The place was extremely clean with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and so was the furniture in the living area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The drive up to the cabin was doable in a two wheel drive truck. Downtown Ellijay is a must see and only 15 min drive. We were close enough to visit surrounding areas without making it an all day adventure. Plenty to do and see if you enjoy the outdoors and all those beautiful views. The people of Ellijay were extremely nice and helpful. Last but not least Dominic was exceptionally helpful and responded right away with any questions we had. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Quiet retreat in the woods
This is a great cabin in the middle of nowhere and we had a great time despite the rain. I only wish I could have tried out the hammock! For those who are looking for absolute seclusion, there is one neighbor above it on the hill, but we never heard them and there was a privacy fence between the two properties.
Large property and peacful
The cabin is tucked away in the mountains with scenic views. My 5 and 7 year old girls loved the area where one had to climb the ladder to sleep. The hot tub was very soothing and relaxing. Property had a new grill that was used every day while enjoying the large porch. Much of the home looked recently renovated.
The property management was great! We left my daughters baby dolls at the cabin when we went home. The property management was more than happy to mail them back to us.
