Located on Stratton Mountain's Quarter Mile Road, walk or take shuttle to the slopes. This private home offers comfort and family living. The large fireplace includes wood and is the perfect ending to an active day. This 5 bedroom home has a queen bed plus full bath in the master bedroom, 2 other bedrooms have two sets of bunks in each room (4 twins in each room), the 4th bedroom has a king bed (daybed style) and additional TV, and the 5th bedroom has a queen bed.

We are a family who enjoys skiing, traveling and spending time together.

We rented for 15 years before we bought our ski house. We loved the area and this location provides quick and easy access to the slopes with the comfort of family style living. Our home is able to accommodate our quests and family, making our stays warm and comfortable.

Great location! Very Cozy! Great for large groups!

We had an amazing experience in February 2018, with a large group of 13: we had enough room for everyone. Travelling with singles and couples there was enough beds and space for everyone's needs. We had a real mountain experience, took advantage of the fireplace and also the rooms that are far from the living room can accommodate anyone who wants to sleep quietly while the rest of the group is doing S'mores! The host is also very nice and was communicating with us the whole time, checking if we needed anything.

Comfy and convenient!

We loved sinking into the huge comfy sofa in front of the fire after an invigorating day skiing with our children. The shuttle (which runs every 1/2 hour) picked us up across the street and took us to the ski area, where there are restaurants and shops in addition to the skiing. It's also within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for the two families. The owners are delightful. I would go again in a *heartbeat*!

Great location. Great owner. Great times.

We just got back from a weekend at Stratton. I rented the house for a group of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Big picnic table for everyone to sit and eat together, big couch for everyone to sit around the fireplace and 2 bathrooms made it perfect and easy for everyone to have their own space. The shuttle picked us up right outside the house and dropped us off at the mountain. There were plenty of games to play as well as movies, cable and a stereo for entertainment. The owner was very responsive and was easy to talk to. We had no problems in the house, except that we had to leave and return to normal life. I would stay here again.

Great house for multifamily or a group of friends. Shuttle comes to the house and drops off at the mountain. No need to go anywhere else once you arrive.

Presidents weekend ski trip

My son and his friends stayed at the house for President's Day Weekend. They had an awesome vacation. The owner of the house was amazing. She was easy to contact and we communicated a few times before and after their stay. We would not hesitate to re-book!!!! The house was a perfect ski house. The way it is set up is comfortable for a family or for a bigger group.

Fun Girls Weekend Away

My girlfriends and I rented this property directly from the owner for a girls weekend away. Easy to find off the main access road (just one turn). The entry room has a place to hang your skis and put all your gear which makes it very easy to leave for the slopes. During the day, a shuttle runs every hour and can pick you up right outside the house with all your gear which is a huge plus, then brings you to the mountain drop off area. At night, you're walking. The mountain is about a 5-7 minute walk from the house - there are shops, restaurants, a spa, and bars. Some of us skied and some of us got a massage. After a day on the slopes, the house is so cozy to come back to, make dinner, drink wine and light a roaring fire to defrost. Firewood supplied right outside the door which is a plus. Lots of beds for everyone to sleep in. Fair warning - the couch has magical powers - it puts you to sleep and doesn't want to let you go...and you don't mind...at all. I dare you to try it. We made a lot of memories there that weekend - you will too!

Very unhappy

Rented this property for a family get together but arrived at night and had a hard time finding since no lights were on. House was dirty enough so I had to clean before rest of family arrived. House is old and very worn, no updates have been done at all. Lots of cobwebs all over. Had problems with refrigerator going off and on. Does have a nice fireplace which we enjoyed. It would be an extremely long walk to slopes and never saw advertised bus from Friday through Sunday.

We love to fill our house with families and friends to enjoy good times and make memories. During your stay, I wish you would have mentioned your concerns in our phone conversations as I would have acted promptly to rectify them. I could have sent housekeeping and maintenance over to address the concerns you were having before your guests arrived. The cleanliness of the house has never been a concern of past guests that span over 14 years. Honestly, I'm surprised to hear this as I was in the house the weekend before. I want all my guests to enjoy Stratton without having to worry about anything and only to enjoy their vacation. The mountain offers many amenities for its guests but unfortunately, like many seasonal destinations, may not offer all amenities at all times which the homeowners cannot control (i.e. ski conditions, shuttle service, operating hours) This was discussed with your husband prior to booking since you were arriving pre-season. At your last minute request I provided linens during your stay as well as refunded a cleaning fee that became debatable between parties. As the homeowner, I believe I did everything in my power to ease the concerns you had that I was made aware of at the time of your stay. Thank you for staying with us.
