Modern fresh holiday home in the centre of Salcombe sleeps 8.

The house is very private. It benefits from one of the best views in Salcombe overlooking Whitestrand Quay and on towards South Pool in the distance. It has parking for one car.

Lakeside is situated above the church right in the centre of Salcombe. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac off Onslow Road with no passing traffic.

Lakeside is a modern house and originally designed as a holiday home. In early 2000 it was extended to take advantage of the wonderful view. It was converted to include two new bedrooms and a large open plan living area that has hosted some wonderful family holidays, not only in the summer, but throughout the year.

The house is fully equipped with all mod cons. It sleeps 8 comfortably all in single beds. There is one large double room and three twin rooms with one bunk room with adult size beds with lots of head room. One bathroom with bath and shower and large airing cupboard. One shower room and another separate loo.

As anticipated we had a great holiday, we were lucky with the weather too and had some great days on the beach. The house was great as expected and the changes from last year were good, we enjoyed our morning tea from the new mugs!

You have a fantastic house with an amazing view of the harbour, it's well set up with everything you could want while on holiday.

Welcoming, well equipped and minutes from the centre of Salcombe.

This is our second time at this property and we knew we were coming back after last year. It really feels like home from home but with the added value of wonderful views of the sea. The property is light, airy, well equipped and beautifully decorated.

We enjoyed our short walk into town each morning to visit the local bakery. We hoped that the walk back up the hill would help to burn off some calories of their delicious food.

Belle is always a phone call away if you need anything. That said, it was a seamless experience and we loved our stay. We cannot wait to go back again next year. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Excellent location, and a view that you will never get tired of. The house is well equipped and has an excellent and spacious balcony / decking area, which the photographs do not really do justice to.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic week in Salcombe, in no small part thanks to this lovely house with its magnificent view. The house suited our needs perfectly; spacious, clean, some steps but nothing particularly tricky even with two very young children, and very well equipped and stylishly decorated. It's perfectly located - close to the centre but very quiet and the walk up the hill helped keep us fit! Would love to return.

Spacious property with stunning views

Excellent customer service provided by the owner.

A well equipped and clean spacious property offering a fabulous estuary view and very close to the centre of Salcombe .

Ideal spot for for partaking in lovely walks,, visiting National Trust properties , water sports or just relaxing enjoying the many pubs and restaurants.

There is something for all the family with beautiful beaches a three minute ferry ride away .

I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative although anyone with mobility issues may find access and the local terrain difficult .

We visited Salcombe in September.House we all stayed in is amazing and view is breathtaking.Weather was great so we did lots of walking,eating and exploring.Would highly recommend and will definitely return!We had a great time.Katerina

Lakeside has one of the best views in Salcombe, overlooking Whitestrand Quay and the harbour beyond. The house is very private and sleeps 8 comfortably in four bedrooms. The master bedroom has one king sized bed and overlooks the Salcombe harbour, there is a further twin room on the same floor, with one family bathroom with bath and shower. On the ground floor is another twin overlooking the garden and a bunk room with brand new made to measure adult size beds. Shower room and separate loo with washing machine are also on this floor. The house is modern and has been designed as a perfect base for your holiday. One side of the house comprises of the accommodation and bathrooms while the other is a large open plan living and eating area opening out onto a deck overlooking a large paved garden with the fabulous view, we call it Harbour TV. The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with nobody walking past your windows right in the centre and only a 2 minute walk to Fore Street, the centre of Salcombe. The house has all mod cons, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine etc., Denon music system, Wifi, SmartTV, video plus a large selection of buckets and spades to fully enjoy your holiday.
