Indeed, all you need is right there. Roberto thought about everything. The apartment is very well situated and very well equipped. And Roberto added the finishing touch with notes on what to see and how to move around in Rome. At our arrival, we were welcomed and everything was explained to us. The apartment was very clean.
Roberto has attended to every detail and the apartment had everything we needed. It was nice and quiet, and a great space for the two of us. The bed is exceptionally comfortable which is important when you are traveling for a while. We decided not to pay 50 euros for a taxi from Fiumicino and, thanks to Roberto's instructions, it was easy and inexpensive getting to the apartment (8 euros each for the 30 minute train ride to Trastevere plus 1.50 euro each for the short bus ride). Roberto provided very clear instructions beforehand and there was also a lot of useful information in the apartment. Trastevere is very convenient for exploring the main attractions in Rome either by foot or bus and foot. Trastevere itself is a jewel with its labyrinth of streets and piazzas, restaurants, bars, people to watch. It is charming and relaxing after walking the streets of Rome. We will definitely stay here again if we get back to Rome.
My sister and I stayed at Roberto's apartment from June 4 to 11, 2016. First of all , we appreciated very much how nicely we were welcomed on arrival ...by both Roberto and his wife Manuella, who are very friendly people. The apartment was big for two people and could easily accomodate two couples as there are two large comfortable beds.We found what we were expecting according to the description. Before leaving we mentioned that the shower and the tap in the bathroom had to be fixed as they were not working properly and other people before us may not have mentionned it. This apartment is also well situated , away from the noisy traffic of the center of Rome but close enough from all the main sites to walk everywhere.
We would rent this apartment again and recommand it without hesitation.
This apartment is located central in Trastevere. Our "hosts" Manuela and Roberto could not have been nicer.
Right down the street from a great coffee place Giselda's!
Manuela offered some great suggestions for things to do.
the shower was nice HOT water and bed also comfortable. Relatively quiet building.
I would recoomend. Also figure out the transit system it will be easy. Grazia Manuela y Roberto!!
Trastevere is the name of the thirteenth district of Rome, indicated with R. XIII. It is located on the west side (right) of the Tiber River and south of Vatican City, in the city center of Rome. Today Trastevere still maintains its character through the winding streets covered with cobblestones overlooked by medieval houses. The night is full of people, both Italian and foreign, thanks to the wealth of restaurants and pubs for every price range. It is one of the most lively, characteristic and self-sufficient city. Offers typical Roman restaurants and pizzerias as well as cinemas, markets (San Cosimato was renovated just recently), banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of every kind and elegant shops.
