Large high end ski luxe chalet (210 m2) with a very good 'home sweet home' atmosphere in Les Collons 1800m in the 4 Vallees (1800m).

Own ski local next to skilift.

The chalet has 6 meters high ceilings with a lot of large windows which gives a spectacular view of the mountains, include the Mattherhorn and the Dente Blanche.

The chalet is situated under the shopping street in Les Collons 1800m and very close to the (ski) local for skis and boots. In this street are 2 supermarkets, kiosk, ski-rental 3 restaurants, a pub and an afterbar. You can also walk to Les Collons 1850m where you can find a pizzeria and another bar.

This very comfortable chalet has a beautiful fireplace and a great dining area with seats up to 16 people.

The balconies (15m wide, 50 m2) are from morning to afternoon exposed by the sun. The terrace is also very sunny, very nice in the summer. There is also a garden around the chalet. There is a good barbecue available.

Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, microwave, extra fridge (in basement). Nespresso machine, coffee machine, normal coffee machine available.

During the seasons: there can be a basis price for the chalet plus price/ person.

"We stayed in February 2018, and were 3 French families with 9 kids, and a total of 15. The Chalet was fantastic with a great view on the valley. The main living room, with its chimney and comfortable sofas, and its huge wooden table that can truly accommodate our large group, provided excellent comfort for our afternoon and evenings after a full day of skiing. The chalet and the kitchen is better equipped than you could dream off, it really feels like you are not in Chalet made for rental activity, but more like you are invited at some friends place that leave there throughout the year. More so, it felt like our home. Rooms are big and very comfortable. One of them, providing 6 beds, is perfect for kids. Equipment also for babies (chairs and beds). We elected to come with our own food and prepare every dinner / breakfast, which I believe is that right option considering the limited choice in the nearby supermarkets. Anyway, with such a great chalet, we really did not want to get out for dinner.

Patricia is super available at all times, and manages everything from distance in an amazing way. We received detailed instructions, and everything is made to make the stay a success for every guest. Ski chairlifts are within walking distance, you should count 5 to 10 min max, which was for us an important criteria. If you have young kids like we did, there are 2 options : either you have a baby sitter or nanny that joins and stay with you in the Chalet (one of the room in the lower flow would be perfect for that), or there is a crèche / Kindergarten in Thyon 2000 that you can reach after a 10 min drive. Overall, great memories, so a big THANK YOU. 5 stars out of 5.

The mountains for winter and summer!

My husband searched about ten years ago the optimal place for a chalet in the mountains with:

- Walking distance to ski lifts (about 5 minutes), car isn't necessary in wintertime;

- Panoramic and breathtaking view;

- Sunny side of the mountain, no noice of a pisten bully in the morning;

- Kids friendly: in the shopping street is a playground with an ice skating rink in winter/ a football field in summer and a possibility for the nightlive sceen for young adults by walk;

- No problem to come to Sion - Les Collons, no busy pass or tunnel;

- Coming by plane (Genève-Sion-Les Collons, distance Sion-Les Collons = 17km);

- Ski-area: about 420km (no bus in between or long waitingtime for ski lifts). Nice trip to Verbier (whole day skiing)

- Ski-passes: 2 possibilities, whole area or half area (to Sivier, this is normally enough!)

What makes this chalet unique

Short / details summarized: Walking distance to lift is about 5 minutes. Heated ski boxes at the beginning of the 4-seater chairlift, as well as at the end of the ski slope where skis, snowboards and ski boots can be placed. The key to the chalet is in a key box in front of the door with a code. You no longer have to go to an office on arrival and departure. You may be able to arrive at the chalet earlier than 3 pm if you indicate in advance what time you intend to arrive. Wide screen TV and satellite dish with approximately one hundred channels, blu ray DVD player and stereo for Ipod, Iphone and Ipad. Good Wifi / internet connection (Internet speed: Download max. 80 Mbit / s Upload max. 0 Mbit / s Kitchen equipment: dishwasher, large refrigerator, separate freezer drawers, table-top refrigerator in basement, four-burner electric stove with extractor, microwave and separate oven. This is not our first visit to La Pente in Les Collon in summer. We like to stay in this chalet because it's a very nice fully equipped house. We recommend this place to everybody who wants to have a relaxing vacation.

Sehr schöne Woche dank SuperChalet

Wir haben das Chalet als Stützpunkt ausgesucht, um zwei Hochtouren zu unternehmen. Da das Wetter nicht ganz so gut war, haben wir mit dem großzügigen Chalet genau die richtige Wahl getroffen. Wir waren fünf Personen und hatten eine sehr entspannte und gemütliche Zeit. Die Fotos entsprechen absolut der Realität, an Einrichtung ist alles da, was das Herz begehrt - man merkt halt, dass sich die Eigentümer in Ihrem Chalet auch gerne aufhalten wollen, ohne auf gewohnten Luxus zu verzichten. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend unterwegs sein wollen, werden wir uns wieder für dieses Chalet entscheiden und uns nicht woanders umschauen. Wir haben nichts auszusetzen! Herzlichen Dank nochmal, auch für den überaus sympatischen Kontakt mit Ihnen.

a chalet for people who love to ski

This is a chalet built by people who love to ski, for people who love to ski. All the details have been worked out to make things as easy as possible - from the heated ski lockers by the lift, epasses you can borrow to charge up with your ski pass to the masses of hooks to hang up your ski gear - it's all there. The chalet is beautifully decorated and cosy with amazing views from huge balconies acessible from all rooms. It's also practical: a 5 min walk from the ski lift (short uphill climb in the morning gets your legs warmed up), close to bakery for fresh croissants, kids play area and skating rink. The chalet is superbly equipped - the kitchen has everything you need for the most complicated meal, plenty of kids toys, ipod dock, coffee machine (bring your nespresso capsules). The owners are extremely well organised and getting keys/parking passes etc.. was no problem.

Les Collons is also a great family ski resort and one of the best I know for pleasing all levels...the infrastructure for kids is good - 2 (free!) magic carpets for little ones, snowpark for the older ones and plenty of good slopes for all levels. The ski school is great (small classes) with a superb 'jardin de neige' for little ones. Make sure you do your shopping on the way up (or get delivered by - they don't deliver everyday though), as the local supermarket is limited. Eating out is limited but La Luge at les Collons 1850 does the best italian food.

We got everything and more!

We (fam. of 4) very hesitant to visit Switserland in the summer.We knew Switserland only from skiing holidays. We couldn't imagine what summer in Switserland would be like.

Now I'm a convert and not in the least because of the marvellous luxurious spacious house we stayed in in Les Collon! The house has everything you might want and more. Good beds, fully equipped kitchen, large bathrooms. The views are excellent. (The kids loved it when they saw helicopters flying in the valley below us.) The house is not only beautiful and homey at the same time, it is also a good place to start activities and go exploring.

We highly recommend a stay in the house in Les Collon, also when your party is much smaller than the 15 it can accommodate.

Sehr schönes Chalet in Top-Lage

Schon bei der Buchungsanfrage hatte ich ein gutes Gefühl. Die Antwort von Patricia ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Sie schickte mir detailierte Informationen und tolle Bilder mit ihrem Angebot gleich mit. Als wir dann noch um zwei Personen aufstocken wollten, war auch das kein Problem. (Habe ich schon anders erlebt!) Kurz vor unserer Abreise kamen dann noch mal per e-mail ein Anfahrtsbeschreibung und viele weitere Informationen von Ihr.

Das Chalet präsentierte sich dann genau so, wie in der Anzeige beschrieben.

Es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Zu sechst haben wir die Großzügigkeit des Hauses sehr genossen. Gegen Ende der Woche war dann das Wetter auch so gut, dass wir das Matterhorn sehen konnten.

Wenn man die Rechnung vom Haus, aus der hervorgeht, dass man die Kurtaxe bezahlt hat, bei der Touristeninfo in Les Collons vorlegt, bekommt man eine Gästekarte für das Haus. Über die Touristeninfo kann man verschiedene Ausflüge unternehmen, die mit der Karte dann gratis sind!

Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen und empfehlen es uneingeschränkt weiter!
