Newly refurbished chalet inclusive of 2 bedroom flat and independent studio

This is one of the most charming historical chalets in Saanen, recently refurbished to high standard of quality and design. The decorative style of the property provides a warm comfortable atmosphere through contemporary use of traditional materials.

The top two floors provide a spacious apartment (100 sq m) that sleeps 4. The studio on the ground floor (20 sq.m) sleeps 2. Both apartments have independent entrance and access to a wood decked patio with an outdoor lounging area and a garden with mountain views.

The chalet has wireless internet access, TV, DVD facilities and heated ski cupboards. Towels and bed linen are provided.

The chalet is located in close proximity of the local grocery shops, tourist office, museum, church/concert hall and ski-rental shop. The train station is a 3 minute walk. From Saanen you can easily catch regular trains into Gstaad (3 minute journey) and Geneva airport via Montreux (3 hour journey).

Perfect flat in Saanen

Our family of four (boys 12 and 10) stayed here for a week in June. It's wonderful. There was plenty of space for all of us and is located in the town center of Saanen. We are an active family and it was easy to either walk into Gstaad (30 minutes) along the gorgeous river or take a train, bus or taxi to anywhere we needed to go. Our boys would bring home breakfast from the bakery and the market every morning, could play tennis, or watch local soccer and gliders taking off from the airport while we worked or got ready for dinner. Nigel, the owner, is a doll and helpful with local information. The place itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

Discreto potrebbe migliorare

Molto carino il giardino. La cucina manca un po' di pentole e di piatti e di bicchieri. Lo stesso discorso vale per le lenzuola. Anche il parcheggio potrebbe rientrare nei benefici gratis della casa.

Saanen is an old Swiss village with traditional charm, just 4km away from Gstaad and its variety of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities. There is a regular train and bus service that connects Saanen to Gstaad.

The village offers those practising winter sports access to the surrounding ski areas, cross-country trails and winter hiking routes. The Eggli lift allows for access to the largest ski area of Gstaad Mountain Rides with 120 kilometres of pistes.
