About the property

Our property is located in the southern part of the island, in Costa del Silencio not far from Las Galletas and Los Cristianos.

Fully equipped, our duplex is composed on the ground floor of a living room, a dining room with corner office, an open kitchen and a bathroom (washbowl, shower, toilet and washing machine). Upstairs, a bedroom with a bed of 2 people, fans and closets.

From the roof, you will discover a splendid view on Teide.

A terrace, awaits you to sunbathe quietly away from prying eyes or spend a romantic evening staring at the stars.

In the urbanization, currently 1 swimming pool is at your disposal (1 bigger is planned for Winter 2017) as well as a mini-market for basic products.

Final cleaning obligatory 60 € to pay on the spot upon your arrival.

Well equipped in a good location.

We had a good stay and found the location to be good for exploring the southern area.

We were in an older urbanisation which was surprisingly quiet. The facilities were great for shops and restaurants. The pool was not in use as it was being renovated. We were able to use a pool recommended by the owner in the next town for a fee. The roof terrace was good but needed another sun lounger to be properly appreciated. The interior was dated but a good size on 2 levels. There were ceiling fans in the bedroom which helped to keep the room cooler. The towels needed to be renewed. Overall a good stay.

Beautiful! Wonderful! Unbelievable!

Dear Dominique

From all my heart thank you very much for great time we had at your apartment. Everything was wonderful!

1. Apartment very clean and comfortable.,you can find there everything you need for relaxing holiday, area very quiet, neighbors very friendly and helpful.

2. Shops, restaurants, bars - very close - no problems.

3. One beach (5 min walk)- deep water and big rocks (who likes swimming in deep water and fishing - we been fishing nearly every evening! kids were so happy! caught fishes! )

and one more beach (15-20 min walk with children) - black sand, shallow water - nice and clean, we loved it!

We rented a car and explored the island! Beautiful! Wonderful! Unbelievable!

Children didn't want to go back home to UK!

We are planning to go back to Costa de Silencio next year again!

Lovely house with everything you would need for a comfortable holiday. Spectacular views of the mountains from roof terrace. Convenient for shops and restaurants. Communication with owner excellent and arrangement for keys worked well.

Fantastic private roof terrace

great communication with the owner before during and after the holiday at the apartment,

apartment very clean, kitchen well equipped with kettle, coffee machine, toaster...

plenty of towels and linen, if not there is a washing machine.

satelite tv with heaps of programs in Spanish, German, French...

even books in various languages.

my favourite place was the roof terrace with a sunbed and table/chairs.

very private, great view to mountains and coast

there is no need for a car, but possible to hire in Costa del silencio. Busstop in front of the complex and easy to explore the island by public bus, very cheap tickets..even cheaper if you use a BONO card.

supermarkets around the corner with all the necesities

for all sunbathers the perfect place to be

Wish I was there still!

Communication.....from the outset Dominique (the owner) made contact and stayed in contact with us as and when we needed her. She was not only on call but with our 18 month old son being the first baby to stay, she went all out and provided a cot, bedding, child plates and cutlery, and more.....fantastic. Anyway the property was spotlessly clean and the sun terrace on the roof is to die for.

You are higher than any other surrounding property so no peering eyes and the views of the mountains are just sublime. The area is a residential area mostly but well kept and surrounding the complex are plenty of pubs and places to eat which are British owned. A perfect base is you are looking to hire a car and explore as its easy to exit to the main motorway network, or you can simply just enjoy what the area has to offer.

Personally I would not hesitate to return to the property. Dominique is a great owner and provides all you need for you stay, even island maps and various literature to enhance your stay.

Summary: Great Property, Great Owner, Great Service, Great Price....and that's from someone who lived on the island for seven years, many years ago.

As I said at the start....."Wish I was there still". Thank you Dominique. All our love and best wishes for the future. x

Magnificent view from the private roof terrace

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Jan /Feb 2014 .We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is a small house with the spacious bedroom on the first floor with further steps up to the roof terrace. It was spotless with a very well equipped kitchen, living room and dining area . There were more kitchen gadgets than I have at home . There are 2 supermarkets close- by with cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance . For those who like a bargain there are a few charity shops too ! . The swimming pool on Chayofita ( the name of the complex ) was clean and deserted . There are no sunbeds there but ample room to relax, lie in the sun on the permanent seats and admire the view . Quite a few locals live on the complex but they were all friendly and polite and it added to the charm . We liked the narrow alleys , pretty gardens and interesting shrubs and plants . The arrangement for collecting the keys worked well and Dominique , the owner , has thought of everything . We would happily reccommend this to friends and are planning to return in 2015
