Charming house in an old farmhouse 18th
With a south and west views of Salers one of the most beautiful villages in France, we rent a family home located close to the heart of the city. The complex, surrounded by two sunny gardens, dry stone walls, includes:
- Garden floor: Large reception room with friends, summer kitchen, entrance hall, SPA (Jacuzzi, Sauna, Shower, WC).
- 1st floor: living room (dining room and TV room open to kitchen overlooking a sheltered terrace and a budding garden wc, games room, bedroom with private bathroom, TV ...)
- 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms (walk-in shower, WC ...)
- All rooms have a double bed 160 * 200, a tv, a bathroom with shower or Italian, hair dryer, ...); two of the four rooms of bed can be separated into twins.
- The 2 kitchens are equipped; rent has a washing machine, dryer, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, one "American", 2 ovens and 2 induction plates
- The house has WIFI access, a DVD player, a HIFI with I-pod player.
- The spa area features a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a shower.
- Parking is easy, and possibility of garage closed on request (2 cars).

The house is in Salers, close to the old city, on courses of short walks, joining the GR 400 (3 hours walk, 15 minutes by car)

Garage / Parking spaces: parking is at the gate of the house; on request, closed garage for 2 cars;
On request baby cot and high chair.
Pets are allowed with owner's consent.
Rental means weekly during the school holidays, from Saturday to Saturday 17h 10h.
The arrival is scheduled for 17h, the day of departure, time of return of keys is at 10am.
Rental includes large household, bed linen (beds made on arrival) and towels are provided.
Central heating, water, electricity, WIFI are included in the price.
The periods outside school holidays and it is possible to rent the farmhouse from 2 days to modular durations.
This charming house has belonged to the same family since it was built in the 18th century. It has just been completely renovated while remaining authentic using Auvergne materials. The family's antique furniture in the house is very comfortable. The gardens allow for resting, while taking advantage of the quiet and the view of Salers, the surrounding valleys and the Cantal Mounts. Food shopping can be done by foot in the Renaissance city: on Wednesdays, the market is in the Tyssandier d'Escous square.
Sport activities, cultural tours, and gourmet cuisine are easily accessed by foot or car (close by)...
Nous nous sommes retrouvés à trois familles (4 enfants de 3, 4 1/2, 9 et 13 ans) dans cette magnifique maison qui sent l'authenticité de l'Auvergne, mais d'un confort à nul autre pareil. Chacun y a trouvé rapidement son espace ; les enfants dehors et dans la salle de jeux, les plus grands dans cette belle salle à manger et dans le jacuzzi ... Un accueil sympathique et chaleureux. Tout est prévu, tout est propre, tout est entretenu, tout est soigné. Chaque chambre a sa douche à l'italienne et ses WC. Les cuisines sont bien équipées, le four fonctionne à merveille et le frigo à l'américaine est fort pratique lorsque l'on veut des glaçons. Aucun bémol. La boulangerie est à 3 minutes à pied, la boucherie pareil. Le village de Salers est délicieux et les balades dans la région font le bonheur des petits et des grands. Cette semaine fut une vraie réussite ! Merci d'y avoir contribué.

Since Malprengère you can walk from hiking in the mountains to the Col de Neronne, Le Puy Violent, the Enfloquet breccias, Puy Mary or stroll in the pedestrian streets of the medieval city of Salers.
You can also relax in the rock garden, among the shrubs planted for several generation or relax after sports activities in the SPA (Jacuzzi, Sauna)
