3 bedroom house with large communal pool and a solarium with great views

This large townhouse has a full equipped kitchen with a wide range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, serving dishes, saucepans and utensils. The stylish open plan lounge diner is tastefully furnished with a comfortable 3-seater sofa and armchairs, coffee table and side tables and a shelving unit. The dining table comfortably seats 6 with quality tableware available. A TV, DVD player, wi-fi, i-pod/phone speaker dock and CD player are available, as well as books and games. There is a very large rooftop solarium, where guests can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. Sun loungers, a barbecue and a large table with 6 chairs make this an ideal place to relax. The front terrace has a stone table and benches and is a real suntrap and at the back there is a secluded kitchen patio if you want some shade. Unusually for Vejer there is off-street parking opposite. The spacious pool complex, exclusive to owners and guests, is open every day fr30 May - 13 September and has two pools with changing facilities and great views to Africa.

A two minute walk from the house is a cafe/bar, mini-market with fresh meat and cheese counter and gym. 5 minutes away is a Supersol supermarket along with cash machines, grocer, fishmonger, mobile phone stores and numerous other shops. There is a wide range of restaurants in the town to discover as well as bars and cafes with regular music events. Further afield you can take a Bodega Sherry tour, go on a ferry across the Straits to Morocco, see the famous Jerez dancing horses, take a boat trip into the peaceful surroundings of Donana National Park, go whale watching from Tarifa or take the cable car up the Rock at Gibraltar and enjoy duty free shopping.

You can see the stunning Roman ruins and award winning museum at Baelo Claudia (free to EU passport holders) which backs on to the beautiful sandy Bolonia beach where there is a very challenging sand dune to walk up if you are feeling fit. The reward at the top gives you wonderful views - and it's much easier coming down! This is a wonderful area for walkers with many trails taking you either along the famous Costa de la Luz coastline or inland through parks and villages.

The Costa de la Luz has abundance of blue flag sandy beaches a short distance away. The historic fishing village of Sancti Petri has water sport facilities, Tarifa is a mecca for wind-surfing enthusiasts and has a lovely town and castle to visit.

  • The stylish master bedroom has a kingsize bed, large built-in wardrobe, bedside cabinets and mirror. Bedroom 2 has a large wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. Bedroom 3 has a wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. All the bedrooms are situated on the first floor and have a choice of sheets or four seasons duvets as preferred. Good quality linen and towels are provided for each room. A hair dryer is also provided. We also have a cot and high-chair available on request for a small charge.

The spacious entrance hall leads into the lounge which has a picture window that overlooks the front terrace. The fully fitted kitchen has many wall and floor units and, as well as the facilities already listed, has a juicer, kettle and extractor fan. There is a large selection of utensils, china and cookware and it leads onto a secluded breakfast patio which also has drying facilities. All areas of the house are thoughtfully decorated with a selection of prints, mirrors and hangings. The rooftop solarium offers stunning views and has sun loungers, a large glass table, 6 chairs and an umbrella for al fresco dining. With over 300 days of sunshine a year you can sit up here at any time and relax. The property is suitable for all-year use with wall and free-standing radiators and duvets available for the cooler months. There are fans in each bedroom as well as downstairs although the house keeps pleasantly cool in the summer months.

Lovely house in an ideal location.

Excellent communication right from booking through to arriving at the property. GPS co-ordinates brought us right to the front door.

The property was spotless with all the essential amenities provided. Supermarket, cafes and restaurants all close by. Old town a bit further afield and very difficult to park. Suggest you drive in early or pre book a car parking space.

The highlight of our stay was all the wonderful beaches on the Costa de la Luz. The nearest being only about 20 mins drive away.

Would highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay.

Los Olivos is a nice townhouse, lots of room and well equipped. During colder days electric heating is very useful. Everything in the city is within walking distance and Veher is a lovely white village on top of a hill. Great views from the village and to the village.

Ganz wunderbar!

Lieber Mike,

wir hatten ganz tolle 2 1/2 Wochen in Ihrem Haus!

Die Korrespondenz mit Ihnen war super nett und unkompliziert - wir fanden es auch sehr freundlich, dass wir kurzfristig noch weitere Personen als Gäste empfangen konnten (darunter eine Wiederholungstäterin) und Sie organisiert haben, dass alle sechs Betten bezogen wurden usw... So hatten wir ein paar schöne Tage mit Freunden und danach Urlaub zu zweit.

Dank ungewöhnlich warmer Abende/Nächte haben wir es genossen auf dem Dach zu grillen, zu essen und zu entspannen. An einem Abend hatten wir sogar Musik, wegen einem Konzert auf dem gegenüber liegenden Platz. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön.

Im Haus war es trotz der untypischen Hitze angenehm, man konnte gut schlafen. Das Haus ist sehr ansprechend und gemütlich eingerichtet, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt.

In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Elektrogeräte waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig (Spülmaschine fällt etwas auseinander, Kaffeemaschine müsste mal ordentlich entkalkt werden) aber das waren Kleinigkeiten und wir sind zurecht gekommen. Der Küchenpatio ist super praktisch, zum Wäscheaufhängen und Essen vorbereiten, Gemüse schnippeln...

Die Badezimmer sind sehr hübsch, alles war sauber, wie im ganzen Haus! Man könnte vielleicht etwas hellere Lampen installieren und im großen Bad noch ein Regal oder Ähnliches als Ablagemöglichkeit anbringen. Aber auch das sind Klagen auf hohem Niveau.

Die Schlafzimmer sind hell und freundlich eingerichtet, die Kleiderschränke geräumig und die Federkern Matratzen waren okay. Bei der Seeluft macht Federkern auch Sinn, aber vielleicht wäre so eine Memoryschaum Auflage eine Idee - dann könnte man noch bequemer schlafen ;-)

Das war alles in allem eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir bislang hatten! Sie ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! Und wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder! Danke!!!

Wir fahren seit acht Jahren regelmäßig in die Gegend und empfehlen lange Spaziergänge (Altstadt Vejer, Calas de Roche z.B), alle Strände auszuprobieren und die Natur zu genießen! Wir mögen die Pizzeria Il Forno in La Muela und den abendlichen Markt an der Promenade von Conil (naja ok ;-) der Markt ist eher so ein Frauending)... Im August ist Hochsaison und entsprechend belebt sind Straßen und Plätze. Die Strände sind breit - wer bislang nur die Mittelmeerküste kennt, wird selbst im August vom Platzangebot begeistert sein. Die Landschaft ist immer großartig, wenn auch je nach Jahreszeit sehr unterschiedlich.

This house is situated in the beautiful white town (pueblo blanco) of Vejer de la Frontera, 200m above sea level, close to the old windmills and feria ground. The town has many historic buildings with lots of Arab and Moorish influences and has been granted the status of an Area of Historic and Artistic Interest. Within the narrow winding streets of the old town there are numerous restaurants, bars, banks and shops. Vejer is surrounded by the Las Brenas and Marismas Natural Parks, and the beautiful sandy beach of El Palmar is 10km away. Inland are the towns of Medina Sidonia and Arcos de la Frontera, and along the coasts are the beaches of Los Canos de Meca, Cape Trafalgar, Barbate, Conil de la Frontera, Zahara de los Atunes and Tarifa. For golf enthusiasts the 18 hole course of Montenmedio is 5km away and courses designed by Seve Ballesteros at Novo Sancti Petri are a 20 minute drive. Excellent road networks also allow you to explore Cadiz, Jerez, Seville and Gibraltar

Golf: Montenmedio Golf Club is the closest course 5 km away. You can also choose from courses at Benalup (25 km), Novo Sancti Petri (29 km) and San Andreas (29 km)
