Located in the remarkable classified site

Locquémeau is a small fishing port and marina is well protected. The coastal paths are beautiful and unspoilt nature.

On foot you head west on the GR34 on the natural site of Trédrez cliffs. You are between the rocks, heather and sea for 7km.

This is one of the largest set of virgin cliffs of Brittany.

Several viewpoints offer visitors an exceptional view of the bay of Saint-Michel and the Finistère coast.

Towards the east, located in remarkable site, still on the GR34, you reach the beautiful site of the tip of Dourven.

Marking the southern entrance to the estuary of Léguer Dourven the Point appears as a spur to the still wild vegetation. The pines covering its top give the site a look picturesque. The extremely mild climate you will also découvrirr are several varieties of eucalyptus, mimosas four seasons, fig, Canelles Magellan (Drymis) Arbousiers, of Echium ...

In the past, the tip served as the coast guard station; a guardhouse and a gate dating from the eighteenth reminiscent of the military past of the place.

In the center of the field, we find 'the house of Dourven'; this house, built in 1912 by Even family, is now dedicated to contemporary art.

The top of the tip is a remarkable view of the estuary Léguer, the beaches of Beg Léguer and west, the tip of Sehar.

The area of 43 hectares, is a protected natural site, owned by the Department of Côtes d'Armor. It is open to the public; marked trails and a breakfast area facilitate the reception of visitors.

The path continues until Yaudet, deep in the Bay of Lannion.

Before you, you see the coast of the Bay of Lannion which comes up Trébeuden and Ile Milliau. (This is the beginning of the pink granite coast)

le reve pour les amoureux des eaux bretonnes

  • 5 of 5
