Masia Sant del Marqués is a family country house in the heart of Penedes region with renovated Belle Epoque swimming pool!

A perfect place to enjoy your holidays, surrounded by vineyards, in a house with plenty of history. It's only a 10 minute drive to the seaside and 30 minute drive to one of the most vibrant cities in the world, Barcelona!!! Here some more details:

Currently, the house - surrounded by vineyards where we make are own Cava (sparkling wine)- has been restored by ourselves to offer you spacious accommodations! The house has 5 rooms (for 10 people), 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a big nice kitchen, large terrace with beautiful views over the vineyards and the garden... It is perfect for families and friends that want to enjoy the real Penedés (major wineries are located very close to the house).

History, Mediterranean beaches and good gastronomy!!

It is set on the edge of a tiny village near Vilafranca del Penedés. Just 10 minutes drive takes you to the cosmopolitan seaside town of Sitges and also to Vilanova i la Geltrú, where you can enjoy kilometers of nice sandy beaches and good fish and nice rices (not only paella!)

Nearby a wide range of sports and adventure activities such as horse riding, sailing, golf, tennis, karting, climbing, etc. are available. The vibrant city of Barcelona and the Roman Tarragona is just 30 minutes drive through the highway!

Masia Sant del Marqués was the country house of very important nobleman of Barcelona back in 1888. You will find out as you enter the house. Another peculiarity is that attached to it is a very well-known Romanesque chapel which was built in the 11th Century. Then the house was a used as a monastery...

Fantastique propriété

Nous avons passé une semaine à 12 dans cette magnifique demeure historique. La maison est pleine de charme, tout comme la piscine, qui a plus plu aux parents qu'aux ados toutefois. Quelques petits bémols : L'équipement de la maison en vaisselle est un peu juste pour 12, et il mériterait d'y avoir plus de tables et chaises de jardin pour profiter de toutes les terrasses.

This property passed down through generations, it has a lot of History. The Roman chapel beside the house dates from 1.058 ! Imagine all the stories lived in this family country house, that once was a religious building... It belonged to a nobleman, the Mayor of Barcelona, back in 1888.
