Hello! I'm an actor /writer and live in Cardiff when in the UK. I have appeared in scores of television plays and series and for many years a member of the BBC Drama Rep. Voice overs include the Angels Destiny and Rhapsody in Gerry Anderson's Captain Scarlet - Brit visitors may know this series! I have written over 30 performed plays a few of which were set in France, for Radio TV and theatre and currently on my third novel . I love France and have done since I first visited on a school exchange. It is wonderful to feel as at home in France as in my native land , Wales.
Incidentally I have been advertising with Holiday-rentals for about 11 years.
E. Morgan purchased this villa in 2010
Around five years ago I began to look for a smaller property. I was living at the time in a large house in Vence, not far away, which had a separate apartment for letting. I feel families like to have a pool to themselves, I know i do, so although i could remain in the house while visitors were in the flat i would never use use 'Their' pool. I needed to downsize anyway so finding a three bed house with pool seemed perfect. With a smaller terrace at the back it also offered extra privacy. The house is close to the airport , the coast, and this year -after two years of building works - we shall have the new Polygone Riviera. We are all looking forward to strolling across the road to one of the restaurants or catching the sales in Au Printemps, or even a visit to the Cinema where frequently films are subtitled in English .
The family is going to spend New Year in the ski centre of Auron - a delightful little Alpine village in the Alpes Maritimes. We shall take the bus that runs regularly from the Airport and shall stay for a few days hopefully to ski but if not the youngsters will have other activities including a skating rink. Another plus for the location.
The just completed POLYGONE RIVIERA - Europe's largest shopping and Leisure Centre is minutes away - ON FOOT!! It has 41 restaurants , scores of bars. bistrots and the best shops including Au Printemps straight from Paris. There is a creche, a cinema, bowling alley and lots of lovely water features. If you like state of the art complexes - this is the best . Of course its equally important not to lose sight of old France These villages and small towns are still close at hand If you come to my house there is a book on the coffee table Villages Perché. Browse through it and
take a trip into the hinterland and you will be in a different world. For art lovers there is Renoir's house in Cagnes and his studio exactly as he left it , Equestrian

My family and I would like to thank you so very much for the use of your lovely home.
The decor and furniture are very comfortable and stylish; the position is excellent for sightseeing and shopping, and the pool is a lovely bonus. We shall certainly recommend your house for anyone wanting to stay in the South of France.
We had a fantastic holiday at this property and have booked to go back again this summer. Elizabeth has to be the most helpful person I have ever dealt with and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Great location and perfect for a family holiday
A long time has passed since that previous review, and we had no problems mentioned before. The house was clean and the towels and the bedlinen were in excellent condition. There were cleaning equipment in the house and if something special was needed it was easy to acquire from the nearby supermarket. The only major problem was that there were some dirty dishes with some dried detergent on them. We found out that the bigger plates were too big for the dishwasher. You should really wash the bigger plates by hand and put other dishes to the dishwasher. The downstairs of the house stayed cool eventhough it was really hot outside. The pool outside was great and the nearby construction site didn't bother us a bit. The washing machine was great, since it had a program that would wash your clothes in only 30 minutes!
There were some good restaurants a short drive from the house, and it was only a short walk to the supermarket. We visited the old fortress town of st Paul and we would recommend the place to everyone. Also a noteworthy place was the town of Vence. There were some great restaurants for families.
The owner gave us some phonenumbers for locals who would help us if we happened to need any.
We had a great time there and we are planning to go back. The overall quality of the house was absolutely what we paid for.
We stayed at Villa Jenna for 8 days at the end of 2012. The location was convenient and the views were nice, but the house was substandard in cleanliness. The tv remote was so dirty we didn't want to touch it; dust was caked on a broken light fixture in the kitchen; there were cobwebs along the ceiling with dead bugs in them and the driveway was so littered with leaves our tires spun tring to get up it. The sheets were too small for the bed and kept popping off the corners and the towels had holes in them. The listing stated that toilet paper was included, but what it doesn't say is that only one roll per toilet is included; after that you have to buy your own. This is a little thing, but combined with the general state of the house it was annoying. This house was way below average and I would not recommend it.
We are ideally located for within a radius of 7K you will find an abundance of tourist attractions. We are between the sea and St Paul de Vence. with its Art collections. And you don't necessarily need a car; a regular bus service runs from the top of the road between Nice and Vence (1€ 30) every day.

For Sports lovers there are equestrian activities at Cagnes Hippodrome, sea sports including sailing along the kilometres of coastline, supervised forest sporting activities for children in Villeneuve Loubet, and golf in Biot.
For gourmets, there are eating hot spots around the corner in Avenue de la Colle, Cagnes, Villeneuve Loubet Antibes and Nice. Or eat and try your luck in the Casino close by
If it's chilling out you want there are superb markets. Take a train from Cagnes train station and go into Italy to Ventimiglia's Friday market, (1hour) stopping off at Monaco en route . Cagnes has the largest covered market in the south, and Antibes on a Sunday is a must for gourmets . And don’t miss Vence and Tourettes sur Loup on Fridays and Wednesdays
