Basement Studio Sleeping 2 (Plus Additional Sofa Bed), With Kitchen And Bathroom

The basement studio comprises a 22 square metre living/sleeping room with double bed, sofa bed, wardrobe and closet. Television is provided, as is wireless broadband for internet access. There is small dining table with chairs, and linen and towels, iron and vacuum cleaner are all provided.

There is a good sized bathroom (4.3 sq m) with bath/shower, washbasin, extractor and toilet.

The kitchen is compact (2 sq m) but well equipped with oven, small hob, refrigerator, washer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and microwave. Cutlery and crockery are also provided.

Access is by by stairs or lift from the communal hallway.

I LOVED the flat. The location is VERY central and yet the flat itself is in a cul de sac and so very quiet. The building it beautiful and clean as is the flat. The bathroom is very large. The flat itself is comfortable for one or two people. Kitchen is small but well stocked.



Malcom is the property manager and is very friendly. I met him the first and last day but I knew he was only a phone call away if I needed anything. I didn't b/c it was a very smooth stay.

In summary, I plan to stay there again when I visit.

Great location, comfortable accommodations, gracious host

We stayed here for 7 nights in May. The location is great. It's a 5 minute walk to Kinghtsbridge tube station (Harrod's entrance) and perhaps 15 minutes to South Kensington station so very convenient in terms of getting around London although there's lot's to do and see within walking distance of the flat e.g. V&A, Natural History Museum, and Hyde Park among our favourite spots. There are several grocery store options nearby including an M&S Simply Food outlet right round the corner and many restaurants to choose from. The building itself is on a cul de sac right off busy Brompton Rd. and a 5 minute walk from Harrod's but it was very quiet and peaceful. There's some renovation/construction work going on at the adjacent building but it absolutely didn't intrude on us in the least. The signs we noticed saying "considerate contractor" seem quite accurate.

The flat itself is on the cozy side, with the sofa bed pulled out it can seem a little crowded, but for us, two adults and a child of 10, it was perfecly fine. Oddly because of the layout, with an entry hallway separating the main (bedroom) area and the bathroom and the small kitchen off to the side, it's amost spacious overall.

Malcolm is a very gracious host, and met us at the door when we checked in and in fact communicated with us in advance to let us know we could arrive earlier than scheduled to accomodate our hotel checkout time. Similarly he accommodated our departure schedule as we had to vacate early in the morning to make our homeward flight. Everything, from the initial booking to our arrival, stay and departure went smoothly.

Everything we needed and used worked perfectly, from the internet and TV to the plumbing and heating.

I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this flat to anyone and would gladly stay again.

It was just okay.

It was a basement apartment, the kitchen had no heat in it. When the apartment was closed up for the day, it would smell musty, like a old damp basement. It had no personality need a facelift.

Great location!

I recently enjoyed a ten-day visit to London and one of the reasons it was so enjoyable was this flat in Knightbridge. Clean, comfortable rooms with kitchen and bath, in a neighborhood with many shops and restaurants, with easy access to public transportation. And the property managers, Malcolm and Neghat, were very helpful in orienting me to both the many conveniences of the flat as well as the neighborhood. Without question, I would stay here again!

Situated in a quiet side street in the centre of Knightsbridge, and a short walk from Harrods and the underground station (direct line from Heathrow airport), the property is ideally located for the West End theatres,restaurants and shopping. South Kensington and the museums are close by, with the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park being adjacent. Attractions such as Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and the riverside are easily accessed.
