Basement Studio Sleeping 2 (Plus Additional Sofa Bed), With Kitchen And Bathroom

The basement studio comprises a 22 square metre living/sleeping room with double bed, sofa bed, wardrobe and closet. Television is provided, as is wireless broadband for internet access. There is small dining table with chairs, and linen and towels, iron and vacuum cleaner are all provided.

There is a good sized bathroom (4.3 sq m) with bath/shower, washbasin, extractor and toilet.

The kitchen is compact (2 sq m) but well equipped with oven, small hob, refrigerator, washer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and microwave. Cutlery and crockery are also provided.

Access is by by stairs or lift from the communal hallway.

I LOVED the flat. The location is VERY central and yet the flat itself is in a cul de sac and so very quiet. The building it beautiful and clean as is the flat. The bathroom is very large. The flat itself is comfortable for one or two people. Kitchen is small but well stocked.



Malcom is the property manager and is very friendly. I met him the first and last day but I knew he was only a phone call away if I needed anything. I didn't b/c it was a very smooth stay.

In summary, I plan to stay there again when I visit.

Clean, well equipped, neat, and quiet location for a couple visiting London

This clean, neat, quiet, and well equipped downstairs apartment is perfect for a couple visiting London. Malcolm and Negat could not have been nicer in helping with arrival information and filling us in about the neighborhood. It is in a lovely area in Knightsbridge on a dead end street which seemed very safe. There is a Mark & Spencer's just around the corner on Brompton Road that fit our needs for food and drink perfectly. Shopping is plentiful here if that is your interest. Numerous museums are nearby as well. There is construction going on next door but it did not bother us because we were up early and out sightseeing. The apartment is about two blocks from the Knightsbridge (Harrod's Entrance) Tube Station. It was perfect for our visit to London.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words. We aim to make our guests as comfortable as possible, and be flexible where we can. Yes, there is construction going on next door, but the heavy work was completed months ago and it has not been a problem recently. This is in part because it takes place between 08:00 and 17:00 (weekdays) when most guests are out and about enjoying all that London has to offer, and the apartment is ideally placed for visiting all the central London sights.

Perfect Location

We stayed in this cozy apartment for just under two weeks. The location is wonderful, close to the tube and easy to get from Piccidilly Line to anywhere you would probably want to go. The apartment is quite small but works very well for a couple. Had a great time and would recommend this location to anyone.

Great location, lovely flat!

We have just returned from a five night stay in this lovely flat and found that it was exactly as described. It was clean, cosy and well maintained. Malcolm replied promptly to all my emails when enquiring about the property and making the booking, and he and his wife were most helpful when we arrived. The flat is located in a great area close to public transport, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History museum and Hyde Park are all within walking distance. There are three supermarkets within a five minute walk from the flat so we were able to buy supplies for breakfast and eat in the flat before heading out for a day of sightseeing. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend this property.

Super location! Everything you need!

We enjoyed our stay in the Knightsbridge flat. The location was very convenient to the tube and bus options. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we really appreciated having a washer and dryer. We picked up ready to eat meals at the supermarket (there are three nearby) and heated them up in the flat. This kept our meal costs down plus provided us with the convenience of making a light snack when our teenager got hungry before bedtime. We had breakfasts "in" which made our mornings relaxing. The flat is cozy for three people, and would be perfect for a couple. Our teenage son slept on the hide-a-bed and said that it was fine. The bathroom is very large! Malcolm was a pleasure to work with. He met us at the flat upon arrival and answered any questions we had about where to eat, where to shop, etc. There are local guidebooks in the flat as well. The flat is in an affluent section of London so there are a lot of really fancy cars around to look at as well as some fancy shopping! Highly recommend!

Charming studio flat in a lovely, convenient neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay at the flat. It was very comfortable for two with a lovely full bath and sufficient kitchen facilities for cooking in (which we did a few times). It's right around the corner from Harrods and not that far from Hyde Park, so shopping, charming neighborhoods, and beautiful gardens very close by. Also Malcolm was extremely helpful with the few questions we had. We highly recommend it!

Cosy, bright and very convenient

This flat and our hosts were a delight! Location, location, location. It is located on a dead-end residential street, so there is no through traffic despite being centrally located. It's just off Brompton Road, 2 blocks from Harrods. It's a short walk to the Victoria and Albert, Natural History and Science Museums. An M&S grocery store is only a block away, a Waitrose and Sainsbury's are 2 blocks in the other direction. Convenient for bus stops and two tube stations. We recommend using the "A 59" setting on the efficient clothes washer for the best compromise between capacity and speed. The room-heating radiator is a "heat storage" design, so in hot weather you need to turn it off the previous evening. The hosts will explain that. They were always quick to answer questions, and made our check-in and check-out simple and tailored to our arrival and departure times.

Very few people use the exterior stairs ... during our 4 week stay we saw only the gardener watering the window boxes and one maid occasionally taking dry trash into the storage room. The building has an elevator, which we only used once (with the luggage).

It was a perfect location for our 4-week primarily-walking trip to London. Buckingham Palace was less than a 15 minute walk. Reaching sights such as the Tower of London were, at most, two bus rides. The British Museum and National Library were each only one bus away.

There are many restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, patisseries, chemists and shops in the area... and the Food Court at Harrod's has excellent croissants (just to name one offering... we never thought we'd be using Harrod's as a bread shop).

The apartment was definitely as advertised... plus a bit. It was spotless when we arrived.

The building next to the apartment is currently being remodeled... but they don't arrive until 8am and usually leave by 4pm (16:00). Even during the day they were surprisingly quiet.

We would definitely recommend this apartment , and we will try to stay there again the next time we visit London.
