Few days away to treat my daughter

Three of us stayed in the lovely Kingfisher cabin with a wonderful view of the lake. Steps and a ramp into the cabin. Nice size lounge & kitchen. A double & a twin bedroom. Good size shower with enough hot water. We booked a table at The Lodge for dinner, absolutely the best choice, amazing service & really great good. Just a couple of down points, I checked ptior to going if we needed to take bedding/ towels etc. I was told everything would be there for us including toilet rolls, soap, cleaning ghings to fet us started. There were only 2 towels (for 3 people) no hand soap no cleaning materials for the shower/toilet. The plastic chairs outside were filthy, nothing to clean them with so unable to use them. The outside table & chairs also unusable due to being dirty & covered in cobwebs. If there had been a hand brush we could have attempted to clean them up. Never anyone in reception. I would go again but be prepared to clean first.

Good location

There was very little in the way of pots / pans . The extractor didn’t work above the cooker Could only get bbc1 on tv . The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was lovely . In a lovely location
