The house has been totally renovated and decorated with brand new furniture. Large living room with 2 sofas and a dining table, front balcony with vine. The kitchen is very well equipped (fridge, freezer, dishwasher) and spacious. Garden with terrace at the rear. View on the beautiful mountain tops of Mont Charvin. Terrace in the front under the vines. Two bedrooms, modern kitchen and cosy living room.

John and Mariella both have degrees in Hospitality & Hotel Management and have been working in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years. Perfect get away

Well where do I start? I read previous reviews before booking this property & it certainly lived up to its 5 stars.

My teenage son & I, along with our 2 dogs, had the most fabulous 5 weeks here in Feb/March, so much so that I said to the owners John & Mariella, that I had mixed emotions at writing a review as I wanted to keep it a secret!

The house has everything you could want, with its cosy contemporary interior (rarely found in French lets) & its location being super for exploring the area.

We didn't tire of the local ski areas & mountain restaurants with their cheese fondues & the views across Lac Annecy whilst out dog walking.

The morning walk down to the boulangerie is a must, to have fresh croissants or baguettes to take up onto the slopes.

Mariella & John are so lovely & were so welcoming, they made us feel 'at home' straight away. They became friends & I enjoyed our time together- thank you both.

If you're looking to book here, please remember to keep some weeks free for me to return!!

Fabulous house in a peaceful setting

The house is fabulous, a great size, was perfectly adequate for a family of 4, and has all the amenities you could wish for.

The garden is also great and a good size. Fabulous views of the mountains and mesmerizing with a BBQ and a bottle of red (or two).

The location was excellent for us. Very peaceful at night (except for our kids sometimes). Easy access to Annecy about 13 miles away, Chamonix 45 mins, and Sambuy 20 minutes.

There is a boulangerie 10 minutes walk away which is lovely to walk to in the morning for croissants and other pastries.

John and Mariella are great. They are friendly, helpful and give great advice of where to go. They greeted us on arrival with a pot of tea and juice for the children, a nice touch and just what i needed after a long drive from the North of England.

Would i recommend this property? Without question, yes, absolutely.

Idyllic French Alps retreat

A beautiful, modern homely French retreat , with the most outstanding views enjoyed from the terrace.The accommodation was spotless and extremely comfortable. We are a family of 5.Two adults and three teenage boys, there was plenty of room for us and more.

We have been to this area many times and still find there is so much to do. We explored the mountain roads winding through the picturesque villages .Chairlifts taking us to breathtaking heights and ended our days jumping in the crystal clear waters of lake Annecy.

Thank you to Mariella, John and Louis for for their fantastic hospitality and charm.A truly wonderful two weeks and we would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives and can't wait to return next year.

A welcome retreat in idyllic surroundings

We had a two week stay in early July with our four year old son. We were so pleased with our choice of apartment as it offered a very comfortable and modern retreat to explore the area. The apartment is well located in a quiet village, just a short drive (or cycle if you are fitter) to Annecy where we spent a number of days enjoying the beautiful scenery and beaches. In a nutshell, it fulfilled all the needs of a small family visiting the area and when we return to the Alps, we would certainly stay here again. It is possibly the best holiday let we have so far experienced in France. John and Mariella you will find to be super helpful and easy going - perfect hosts. I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in the Alps.

Lovely house in quiet location.

A comfortable well equipped house in lovely scenery looking at the Mountains. Lovely welcome from John and Marianne. If you are keen cyclists this is the perfect place - great cycle tracks or cycling around Lake Annecy . For those who like a challenge the Alps are there on the doorstep with numerous Cols to cycle up - the views at the top are breathtaking. As a couple in our 60's we enjoyed cycling the tracks, around the lake and the challenge of the Cols. Would recommend the lovely house, area and the cycling and of course the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Maurice & Trish

A fantastic holiday

A beautiful property in stunning surroundings with everything you could possibly need and more! It has recently been renovated and is of a very high standard. The owners are lovely people and have plenty of local knowledge and good advice. Lake Annecy is 10 minutes away and the property is surrounded by fantastic mountain walks. There are loads of activities locally - we cycled, canoed, para-glided, hiked, shopped and ate! We can't wait to visit again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay. Thank you John and Mariella X
