About Vanessa Potter
We are retired doctors who live in the area and have 3 children and 7 grand children who live in London.
Vanessa Potter purchased this House in 2009
Why Vanessa Potter chose Whitstable
We bought it to have an interest in our retirement and also so that our family and grand children can enjoy visiting Whitstable for weekends and holidays. The house is therefore well set up for under 5 year olds at moment and will change as grand children grow!
What makes this House unique
House set up with toys etc for little boys! Very close to beach which children enjoy and close to restaurants etc as well.

Lovely seaside retreat
A beautiful cottage just off the seafront. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
Great stay at Samphire Cottage
The property was very well laid out and perfect for our short stay in Kent
Very close to Beach and Restaurants in Whitstable bay
Highly recommend 'The Lobster Shack' and 'V.C Jones' Fish and Chip shop
Would definitely stay here again though in the Summer months
We had a great 3 days enjoying Whitstable at the cosy cottage. We found it to be really clean and tidy and it had everything we needed. We will visit again!
Lovely relaxing stay -near beach and town
I would book again -shame there is no dishwasher and sofa bed in downstairs back room
New Year’s Eve stay
We had a lovely time celebrating New Year’s Eve in this lovely cottage. So close to the sea. The cottage has everything you need, we will be back
