Access is gained from a door at the side of The Wood Shop in Upper Frog Street to a small court yard with relaxing seating area where you can enjoy morning to mid afternoon sun shine or while away the evening enjoying a bottle of wine.

The first floor comprises of a master bedroom with king size bed, ample furniture ,TV and a good size bathroom with a large free standing bath to relax in after a hard days sightseeing, a separate shower, heated towel rail, wash basin, toilet and washer dryer.

On the second floor is an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The comfortable lounge has a 2 seater sofa, a TV with Free Sat and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and 4 burner gas hob, fridge freezer, dish washer, and microwave plus most modern appliances. There is a small dining table and breakfast bar that both seat 2.

The property has gas central heating.

Chattaway House has one reserved parking bay in the multi storey car park approximately 3 minutes walks from the property to guarantee stress free parking especially during the peak season when Tenby town is closed to traffic between 11am and 5pm

We feel privileged to have been able to stay in your beautiful cottage. It's a hidden gem and so thoughtfully furnished. We have everything we could have wished for! This is our first visit to Tenby and we've totally fallen in love with it and Chattaway House. The sun has shone all week, we've been so lucky! Have loved being so central to all the wonderful shops, bars and restaurants and enjoyed returning to the sanctuary of the cottage. Our favourite place to eat has been Normandie, favourite pub Hope and Anchor and early morning coffee at Café Vista. We've made some wonderful memories here and will certainly be back soon!

The Full package

What a great little house in a great location...the accommodation is just as it looks on the website it feels very secure very clean and has everything you need. The parking permit is great. Plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of walks the beaches and scenery are great. We were so lucky with the weather. We would highly recommend this to any one.

Hidden little gem

This little luxury hideaway is truly beautiful, all it was promised to be, in a fantastic position right in the middle of Tenby. Finished to a very high standard with everything you need for your holiday. Guaranteed parking just two minutes away, plenty to see and do in the area and some lovely walks.

Very well appointed cottage

The cottage whilst being in the centre of Tenby is in a tucked away little corner. Handy for everything Tenby has to offer, but a little haven of peace and quiet. The owners are on hand during the day as they run "The Wood Shop" on Upper Frog Street, and were very helpful with their local knowledge.

A fantastic property right in the heart of Tenby

We loved our stay in Chatterway house. The location is bang in the centre of the lovely town of Tenby and everything is within walking distance. The parking permit is a welcome addition but it was the property itself that impressed - everything was in perfect working condition and our week-long stay was brilliant! Thanks to Dave and Bex for providing us with the perfect base for a lovely early summer holiday

We think that the parking permit in a necessity when on holiday in Tenby as parking can be tricky especially during the summer when Tenby is pedestrianised. A hidden gem in the centre of Tenby

Our 2nd stay at this beautiful cottage, right in the middle of Tenby, perfect for pubs, shops and restaurants, and yet a quiet secret little haven hidden away from the hustle and bustle. Everything is provided for the perfect holiday and some lovely little touches that make it feel like home from home. Looking forward to returning again next year. Mel and Graham

Fantastic little hideaway!

What a lovely week that had at Chattaway! Absolutely brilliant! Clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything that you needed was there, and shops, restaurants and cafes weren't too far (approx 2 mins walk). Perfect location in Tenby, with parking only a few minutes walk down the road! The renovation of Chattaway is amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone. Great touch with the wine, milk and sugar! Thank you Bex & Dave x

NEW RENOVATION JUST FINISHED!

Chattaway House within the historic walled town of Tenby is the only original Medieval house left nestled in St Mary’s Church grounds and is a perfect hide away. Walk out of the front door through the court yard and down a small drang (short alley way) and you are in the heart of Tenby with great access to shops and restaurants and within 2 minutes walk to any one of the beaches. There are three fabulous blue flag beaches and boat trips are available from the harbour around the clear waters offering great opportunities to spot dolphins, seals and the other abundant wildlife or take a trip to Caldey Island to see the Cistercian monks and sample the home made chocolate.

Walk along Tenby's South Beach toward Giltar Point and join the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path for fantastic views of Caldey Island and discover some of Pembrokeshire’s many hidden coves. Walk the narrow cobbled streets of the old town lined with elegant Georgian properties or sit in one of the many cafes which offer alfresco dinning during peak season and people-watch visitors to the many gift shops, restaurants and public houses.

Chattaway House is also perfectly located for offering easy access to Pembrokeshire’s many visitors’ attractions such as Tenby golf courses, Oakwood and Heatherton theme parks, Anna’s Welsh Zoo and many more, or visit one of Pembrokeshire’s castles, Pembroke, Manorbier and Carew castles are all within a 15 min drive.

Tenby can also offer plenty to do for the more active holidaymakers with yachting, sea kayaking, windsurfing, and surfing and for the more extreme sporting enthusiasts’ coasteering (jumping off the cliffs into the clear blue seas!).
