excellent in every respect

My husband and I stayed at this apartment in December/January and have already decided we’ll return - we loved the city, and this perfectly located, well-designed rooftop apartment near the edge of the old town so much.

The location is perfect: plenty of bars and restaurants, yet relatively quiet, with a decent selection of shops and small supermarkets in the surrounding streets - and the Central Market and its astonishing array of fresh produce is only a 10 minute stroll away. The main city square is only a 15 minute walk through the beautiful old town. We only used a bus once, to go to the City of Art and Sciences.

On arrival, we received a warm welcome from Francisco’s assistant Empar, who made sure we were settled in and provided us with an information sheet on what to see, where to eat, how to get there etc… When we had a teething problem with our WiFi connection, Francisco came to sort it out immediately - excellent support.

The apartment is very well-appointed. Everything was clean, and heating, air-conditioning and appliances were easy to figure out. There were teas, coffees, spices, plenty of cooking equipment, coffee machine, guide books, tourism leaflets, TV, BluRay player, stereo etc… we felt very well catered for. There was everything we needed, and more than we’d anticipated.

Three windows look out onto a sizeable balcony (with sun beds, wooden table/chairs, plants and flowers - even power sockets) with a fantastic view. Listening to the old church bells in the early evening was so relaxing.

The climb up to the 5th floor is maybe worth a mention - but we’re in our late 50s and it wasn’t a problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment, and in the city of Valencia. Many thanks to Francisco and Empar for helping us to make our holiday in your wonderful city very special!

Great Flat in an Amazing Location

My wife and I staid in Valencia for four days in late March. We booked this flat due to its proximity to the El Carmen area of old town. We were not disappointed. All of the great restaurants and plazas were within easy walking distance of the flat. The view from the terrace is great as you can clearly see a local landmarks and get your orientation very easily.

The flat is comfortable and well light with numerous windows in all areas. There are curtains and drapes to darken the space if you want to sleep late. The majority of the windows open to create a nice cross breeze if needed and you can then also expiernece the sights and sounds of the city around you.

We did not use the kitchen area as we enjoyed the local restaurants for our meals, but it appeared well appointed with a nice array of cutlery and kitchen implements. There was also a coffe maker for those who enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

The bathroom was spacious and included a nice front loading wash machine and there was a small amount of laundry detergent available in the pantry. In addition there was a folding drying rack as there is no clothes dryer. The water pressure was good and there were no issues with the hot water supply. The tap water was drinkable, though it does taste like its a munciple water source.

The only downside to the flat is the lack of the lift and the need to climb a lot of stairs to reach it. This would be very difficult for those with injuries, the elderly or those with small children. We did not mind as it gave us an excuse to eat more of the delicious local food since we would be burning the calories going up the stairs! In all seriousness the stairs are a small price to pay for this nicely appointed flat and great terrace views.

If we ever find our way back to Valencia we would absolutely be staying here again! Thank you Francisco for your hospitality and your constant communication prior to our arrival!

wunderschönes Valencia !

Wir hatten eine super Woche in Valencia.Natürlich war das Wetter ( 25Grad im Januar )

auch optimal, so dass sich die Stadt von der besten Seite zeigte.Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Es ist sehr ruhig, für eine Stadtwohnung nachts schon fast "still".Die tolle Dachterasse konnten wir dank des tollen Wetters täglich nutzen.Valencia lässt sich von der Wohnung aus gut zu Fuß erkunden. Um zum Strand zu kommen, hatten wir um die Ecke Fahrräder gemietet.Man fährt durch den ehemaligen Flußpark, über einpaar Brücken und dann an einem wirklich wunderschönen Strandentlang Richtung Süden. Also Valencia ist auch Strandurlaub. Vielen Dank auch für die nette Begrüßung an der Wohnung, die vielen Tips und die Taxibestellung.Wir glauben , schöner kann man in Valencia nicht übernachten!!

Wunderschönes Appartment in beeindruckender Lage

Wir haben 4 Tage in Valencia verbracht und das Appartement war einfach fantastisch. Wir könnten die Sonnenterrasse im November schon zum Frühstück und bis in die Nachmittagsstunden nutzen. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und alles ist wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Da man zum Hinterhof lüften kann, ist es auch nachts sehr ruhig und wir haben bestens geschlafen.
