Beachfront cottage on beautiful Goose Rocks Beach. Built in 1896, the cottage has been in the family for 6 generations. The cottage is truly a hidden treasure on Goose Rocks. If your're looking for an original Maine beach cottage this is the one for you. Cozy, comfortable, clean and simply charming. Four strides and you are on your way down the stairs to the soft sands of
Goose Rocks. The front porch is a great place to relax , read and enjoy a cool drink after a long day on a very private part of the beach. The Tides Beach Club is 0.5 miles away, the General Store is 0.2 tenths, beautiful Cape Porpoise with its great views and restaurants is 7 minutes away and of course the famous Dock Square which is 11 minutes away. The cottage has three bedrooms, one bath, dining/living area and a sunroom with an amazing view.

Goose Rocks Beach House

Excellent location , terrific view right on the ocean. The house was immaculate and comfortable . We know the area well and are always happy to come back . We would consider returning same time next year .. Linda was lovely !

Location location location!!

Amazing views at this cozy historic cottage. It’s a Goose Rocks Beach original, which is hard to find. Perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of room to sleep, eat and play inside on a rainy day. It truly is steps to the beach. The beach has plenty of space, super soft sand and is quiet. You can walk to the general store in less than 5 minutes to get deli sandwiches, pizza, snacks, drinks, even a bottle of wine. Don’t miss out on the fresh muffins, they are fabulous. There is a lot to explore in the area with Kennebunkport 10-15 minutes away with shops, restaurants and more. Linda, the host, is very hospitable to ensure your stay is comfortable. She lives right next door but totally gives you your space. She’s kind and lovely to work with. She has great recommendations, including the Portland Children’s Museum for our 2 and 5 year old on a rainy day. It was so much fun! I highly recommend renting linens and beach towels. Good to have extras when things don’t dry as quickly. There’s no washer or dryer but a big clothesline with clothespins to use which worked perfectly for us. It was a fantastic vacation with amazing views and the best location. The sunrise is spectacular in August. Don’t hesitate, book your stay. You won’t regret it!
