Nerja is a tourist city visited for its great weather year round, his cave with stalactites and stalagmites. It has a wonderful coastline, great cliff part that makes the landscape unforgettable. His now famous Balcon de Europa is one of the best examples. The tourism visit it throughout the year. Its location allows to easily visit nearby cities like Granada, where besides visiting its already known worldwide ALHAMBRA, (visit not to be missed) or Cordoba with its Mosque, Málaga, Sevilla or small nearby towns such as Frigiliana, Maro etc .. You can also sport tourism (bicycle, Kitte Surf, bowls, tennis, diving, paragliding etc ..) or hiking (climb up the river Chillar ...).

The ski resort located further south in Europe is only 1: 20h.

It is very sunny, with beautiful sunsets, especially in the autumn, spring and winter, making it a good choice for long periods and for which there are discounts depending on the duration thereof. It offers vacuum cleaner, beach umbrella. It is very quiet. Maintenance service available 24 hours for emergencies. Granada with its unique Alhambra is 100 km, tourist city. Málaga just 50km.

Lovely apartment, great location.

The apartment contained everything we needed and more. If we were to be a little picky, the small bedroom tended to be a little noisy with late departures or early arrivals to other apartments in the block. I would also suggest black-out blinds in this room as the lights being switched on outside at these times were a little annoying. Having said that, Maria has been really helpful and extremely accommodating. We would still return to this apartment and hope to be able to do so next year.

Owner's Response: Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very sorry that some details do not satisfy you completely. We feel especially concerned about the black-out blinds. As in most Spanish dwellings, our bedrooms are definitely fitted with black-out blinds, of a type not always known abroad. Embedded in the walls, they allow to decide the amount of light -even zero- that flows in. We hope to welcome you next year.

Excellent holiday

We had such a lovely week in this appartment. It had a lovely view of the sea and fountains, it was quiet at night and had everything we needed.

The sun umbrella was so helpful and we used it everyday. The reclining sun chairs are a great idea for the pool and the beach.

We loved the pool and found it clean and well managed by the lifeguard.

The grass round the pool meant it was comfortable to sit on towels and your own sunchairs.

It is so near the Balcon and shops and restaurants. Lovely and quite busy at night but the gated appartment block felt very secure. We found the Jamaica supermarket very handy.

The owners were very kind and responded very promptly to all our questions right from booking. I would highly recommend this property. Air con excellent, very clean, hairdryer, well stocked kitchen, lots of towels.

Fantastic holiday in fabulous accommodation !!

We are just back from our wonderful holiday in Nerja . We stayed at Apartamentos Gamez for one week and really couldn't be more pleased with it. It is a beautifully presented, spotless comfortable apartment with everything we needed at our fingertips. It is very well laid out and is very well stocked with anything you need for a hassle free holiday. The beds are extremely comfortable and it is beautifully furnished in Spanish style which we really love. The location is perfect just beside the beach and Balcon de Europe and Nerja old town all literally a 5 minute stroll. There is a lovely pool and the complex is extremely well looked after. Maria the owner was very helpful ,accommodating and easy to communicate with. There are lots of fantastic shops, restaurants and bars right on the doorstep and we will definitely be returning very soon could not recommend Nerja and Apartamentos Gamez highly enough.

Fab apartment in perfect location

We have just returned from a perfect week in Nerja - made all the better by Maria's lovely apartment (and assistance). We loved the location - really close to the old lanes of Nerja, but with some fantastic restaurants nearby.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and well maintained - we had one issue with a toilet and I sent an email informing Maria and someone was literally round within about half hour to fix it! She always replied promptly too, even on a Sunday when we emailed re our pick-up time. Very helpful.

There's a full size ironing board and iron, good hairdryer and lots in the kitchen.

Our fave restaurant was El Refugio (mainly due to Reiner, the lovely host and his wife who both sung a wonderful version of Happy Birthday to my other half). Also, really good food in nearby Meson Jose Y Victoria.

We are sure we'll return to Nerja - we miss it already!

Really, no negatives. If I had to pick something, I'd like the hot water to go a bit further, and for more substantial single beds in the second bedroom, but that's being really picky.

Lovely Winter stay in beautiful Nerja

We had a wonderful 12week stay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities: good quality appliances, linen, bedding and fixtures. Mrs Maria del Rosario Gamez is a very attentive and kind owner. The apartment is in a perfect location and complex,ideal for the less mobile too. Nerja is a wonderful place; I recommend this apartment without hesitation, it is by far the nicest we have stayed in.
